Although they are not as popular as MMM, GMAfunds and Helping Revolution trapped an estimated 100 million to 200 million naira in participants' funds in the system, Somtoo Okoye blog sources say.
Unlike MMM which gives people 30% of their deposits, GMAfunds promises a 100% return for participants as well as 20% deposit and 20% referral bonuses. It also accepts use of Bitcoin currency.
GMAfunds website does not indicate if it has any affiliation with Russian owner of MMM Sergey Mavrodi who founded MMM Nigeria, MMM South Africa, MMM Zimbabwe and the likes.
However, some top players in the Internet marketing circle have pointed accusing fingers at a young Nigerian entrepreneur named Seun Ogundele for not only fiercely promoting the services but founding the GMAfunds and Helping Revolution pyramid schemes.
Segun who travelled to faraway Dubai, United Arab Emirates earlier this week, says he is arranging his team of lawyers to challenge his accusers in court.
This development is coming days after MMM Nigeria says it will unfreeze participants' monies starting from January 14 2017.

Wednesday, 4 January 2017 Video: EFCC raids Goodluck Jonathan's home in Abuja
The legal battle between Patience Jonathan and the Economic Crimes Commission (EFCC) took a wild turn when operatives of the anti-graft agency raided a house belonging to the former Nigerian first lady in Abuja today. Some sections of social media also say the house actually belongs to her hubby, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, Nigeria's immediate past president.
According to Facebook posts and video shared by Oraye St. Franklyn, who also hails from Okrika in Rivers State, the armed EFCC operatives stormed Jonathan's home this afternoon and "harassed anybody in sight" while seizing cameras and mobile phones of the house occupants and their neighbours.
It is still unclear what documents Franklyn alleged that EFCC operatives took from Jonathan's house. The eyewitness also suggested that the Joanthans were not at home when the incident took place.

Barely a year after it was hacked, the official website of University of Ilorin, Kwara State has been defaced once again.
A message being displayed on the unilorin.edu.ng domain says the website was hacked by a certain “GhostHacker” who supposedly hails from Indonesia.
Another pop-up that displays on the website's mobile version hailed Nigerian website developers as useless, urging UNILORIN authorities to contact the Asian hackers for help.
