Orji uzor kalu freed based on technicalities. I hope that people read the grounds for which he was freed.

The judge who sentenced kalu was already a judge at the Appeal court.

The case was supposed to be reassigned to another judge at the federal high court in Lagos but the judge handling the matter who was already elevated to the Appeal court still went ahead to give judgement.

Now based on this technicalities, the supreme court has nullified the conviction of kalu.

This is a welcome development. The judiciary is the last hope of the ordinary man.

It is good that Lagos is testing people and dictating the virus than not testing and allow people die or spread the virus.

Covid_19 is not a death sentence. Many states are not doing effective testing hence the low figure in cases.

Like Rivers state, Testing have started at UPTH and many cases might be reported henceforth.

I commend the Lagos state and kano state governors for the vigorous tests.

The figures released isn't a death sentence but good for us to avoid further spread.

I have read with total dismay many threads and various comments how the IPOBS and majority of the south Easterners too concerned about what is happening in Kano.

It is obvious that many states in the South East are not conducting ant Test rather they on deal with people of perceived symptoms.

I bet the IPOBS to prevail on there governors to carry out huge Tests and see if many people will not be positive.

Most of the deaths in kano may not be because of the virus but the Ipobs term every death to be of the virus.

The SE governors are hiding most Index cases and playing politics with the virus yet the Ipobs carry kano matter for head.

To the best of my knowledge, most news from kano state are lies and fabricated.

I see nothing wrong in this. They are Nigerians are have the right to travel to any state.

Rather than sending them back, why not send them to the south East where the index case is little.

Quarantine them in the south East for 14 days if not positive result then allow them to tear the cow and sell to the people.

In the course of Investigation, one of the Kidnappers was arrested on 30/4/2020 and on interrogation made useful confessions that led to the arrest of Two others.

At the early hours of today one of the suspects by name Friday Akpan 'm' took the Operatives to a forest at Eteo in Eleme LGA, where the bodies of the victims were recovered.

The remains of the deceased Students have been deposited in the Mortuary.

Exhibits recovered from them include:
One AK47 Rifle
Three Magazines
Seventy two (72) rounds of Ammunition

The Commissioner of Police, CP Joseph G Mukan psc (+) has assured the families of the deceased Students that justice will be brought to bear in the circumstance, while appealing to the public to always assist the Police with useful information.
