ovokeiv1: Ure such a BIG FOOL!!!!! Hu told u d company is going bankrupt cos of android usershuh? 4 Ur info, a gud part of dia total gains cums 4rm bis subscriptions and android users makup a huge amount of these subscribers.
Pple lyk u r d reason y all these foreign companies cum here, steal 4Rm us n later call us thieves wen dy get home.
Instead of u to reason lyk a human beign or beta still SHUT ur mouth, u decided to say rubbish cos u dnt use an android fone. I wonder hu even told all u bb users dt there is a war between google owners n rim cos i dnt understnd y we nigerians beef ourselves 4 no reason.
And jst 4 a reminder, we aint getting d bis 4 free, we pay 4 it. I really dnt xpect a Dumb fool lyk u to understand sha.
Bros please trend softly softly. BB subscription is for BB. Your assumption is very wrong thinking that airtel is making money because they allowed the service to run on non BB device. If your assumption was right, other service providers would have allowed the service to run too. Take it easy because it is not the end of the world. The reality on ground now is even if airtel loses a million customers today, they will not allow the BB subscription to run on non BB device.
PhonesRe: Letter To Airtel Nigeria by confusion247(m): 5:48pm On Dec 03, 2013
Promhize: Airtel Nigeria made a huge mistake, they should never have informed people about this.

I have been using Etisalat for years, and they do whatever they want without informing their customers, from when they stopped unlimited data plan, to them stopping BiS from working on non-bb devices and when they stopped us from watching youtube (online videos) with one's own 3gig. If there were better networks in Nigeria, I would have swapped since, but I guess I'm stuck.

Anyway, Airtel made a huge mistake, they should have blocked it once or just announce on their website or social media handles, instead of texting dumb Nigerians likE the OP.

AIRTEL SHOULD BLOCK IT AND IMPROVE THEIR NETWORK.
From my point of view, Airtel did the professional thing by informing their subscribers before stopping the service. As for those ranting about how they will throw away their sim card and how airtel will go bankruptcy based on this should know that if this service benefits airtel, they won't stop it and other service providers won't stop it too. Remember airtel didn't force Android on you. The day you bought android phone, you are fully aware about its data consumption and subscription.

Kollins12: Your problem is IGNORANCE: so you still don't know at this stage that Islam has nothing to do with B/Haram, anyway! I do not blame you, naivety based on mental complacency in you is the cause of your foolishness.
Continue to live in delusion. May be Islam has nothing to do with alqaeda, Hezbollah, Taliban, al-shabab, ansaru, Mujahideen, Jihadist. Book Haram is true manifestation of Islamic principles and teachings.
Who refuse to be deceived.
PhonesRe: Solutions To Airtel Bb Plans On Android Devices. SOS! by confusion247(m): 9:41pm On Dec 01, 2013
fisayo: I don't understand how people will go in a frenzy about using up their Airtel Data before Dec 3rd. If they are not gonna support the BIS service on non-BB devices, fine! However, they've gotta refund people's money. It's that simple!!!
It's just pitiful to see people accepting the Airtel SMS with glad hearts! Or does Airtel have our mumu button?
My dear just take heart because airtel didn't force android phone on you and most especially have you forgotten that terms and conditions apply. So no refund of money after payment.
PhonesRe: Solutions To Airtel Bb Plans On Android Devices. SOS! by confusion247(m): 9:37pm On Dec 01, 2013
quinnboy: Airtel will regret this move.....
They won't regret anything. Did MTN and GLO regret it when they stopped the service on their respective networks?
This move will free their network from unnecessary overload from Android parasites and virus. grin grin

PhonesRe: Protest Against Airtel's Plan To Stop BIS On Android by confusion247(m): 5:42pm On Dec 01, 2013
eezor: People like u can never join forces to effect changes. Yet u are on nairaland awaiting cheats every day
People like me have joined forces several times to affect changes that is legitimate not seeking for a cheap way out of self inflicted pains and hardship.
I was among those who spearheaded the first ever phone switch off because of voice call tariff.
If you want me to follow your self serving protest I won't because we didn't protest nor complained when MTN and GLO suspended the same service on their network.
If we are to protest for data subscription to come down I will be fully involved but your protest is for a network to engage in an illegality just to serve you right.
Remember it wasn't airtel that forced an android phone on you. The day you were buying that phone you knew too well about its data subscription.
As for your cheats, I don't know what you mean by that.
PhonesRe: Protest Against Airtel's Plan To Stop BIS On Android by confusion247(m): 5:34pm On Dec 01, 2013
Codedeben: Useless ? and u took it this personal? Isn't that ironic?

Do u lot think if they're benefiting from this they would have taken such a decision of truncating it? Everybody goes into business to maximize profit as much as possible, even you. u were never the one that convinced them into being liberal in first instance, which allowed most of us non-bb user to also flex it, now the same people that made it open have decided to shut it so why this unecessary complaint? Are they the only network in naija? why don't u carry placards for other operators.

sometimes we Nigerians act so selfish.

Give them ur yansh to bleep, the day u complain u cant take it no more cos of the pain, they'll call u names and threaten to sue you. Typical naija.
Never mind them. They are crying as if it was airtel that forced them to buy an Android phone when they knew too well that they can't afford it data subscription.
Airtel is not benefiting from the service that's the bottom line.

Abu Mikey:

Very Jobless People angry

Y'all didn't appreciate airtel when they gave you access to the BIS on all Non-BB device, you guys made their internet service as slow as fu.c.k, and now, they've made up their mind to do the necessary, You here protesting undecided

Keep protesting angry

ThankGod VPN is no longer working sef tongue

Don't mind those e-rats making unnecessary noise. They didn't demonstrate when MTN, and GLO stopped their own many months ago without warning. Instead of them to appreciate air tel for allowing the service to run for months they are here making empty threats.
My advice to you people is to break the sim card and flush it.
Switching it off won't help you people.
To all matured minds who have enjoyed the service while it lasted, let's appreciate airtel and make them see reasons while they should allow the service to continue.

Today, they are begging and promising ANY member- lawmakers- of the same PDP who defects to them AUTOMATIC tickets- without any primary election- for next electons, as well as promising ANY Governor who defects to them AUTOMATIC control of political structure in their states!!!!!. Even General Buhari ! And These are the people who are supposed to change the country right?

@ topic..When Channels did an expose on the Ikeja Police college,GEJ didn't sack the commandant of the college but now Punch does an Expose on the rot at a Lagos School and Fashola starts victimizing the Principal

.Maku was right afterall when he said all Fashola does is to plant flowers
The worst thing that will happen to this country is seeing APC in aso rock.

Mujah1deen: I see a lot of kidnappings, rituals/ritualists, drug pushers, scammers, prostitutes, baby factories in the south but I don't hate you guys I still believe you can change and embrace Islam. So my friend stop being a bigot, you are from being perfect .

One Nigeria
All those evil acts you mentioned above are also in northern Nigeria too but the difference is that we don't have jihadist, mujahideen, suicide bombers, boko haram etc in the south.
We too don't want a religion that is forced on people neither do we want hypocritical One Nigeria that operates two different laws on its people.
Kindly keep your Islam to yourself because it is the worst thing that can happen to any nation. Islam denies people their freedom, their right and if you dare ask question or criticize it, you lose your life.
You love us by bombing our place of worship, our motor parks and our schools. Keep that type of love to yourself.

debetmx: They are going to heaven for 70 virgins and we drinkers of alcohol are going to hell. grin grin grin grin
grin grin grin grin To make the matter worst is that northern Muslims believe that when they kill us, they have one way ticket to heaven.
IslamRe: Sharia Police Smash Bottles Of Beer In Kano by confusion247(m): 11:42am On Nov 28, 2013
debetmx: Tinubu and Fashola are certified igbo smokers.
So all the other Yoruba Muslims are Igbo smokers too because they are not demanding for sharia law in Yoruba land?
Kindly purge hypocrisy out of your conscience. Have you forgotten that those igbos are still part and parcel of your hypocritical One Nigeria? Must you force them to abide by Islamic laws and principle even when they are not Muslims? Why not allow them have Biafra so that you can have an Islamic north and sharia without interference from Nigerian constitution?
IslamRe: Sharia Police Smash Bottles Of Beer In Kano by confusion247(m): 11:34am On Nov 28, 2013
Mujah1deen: why the hate bro ?
The is based on he he sees among Islamic faithfuls like Boko haram, alqaeda, mujahideen, jihadist, al-shabab, Hezbollah, Taliban, suicide bombers etc.
IslamRe: Sharia Police Smash Bottles Of Beer In Kano by confusion247(m): 11:30am On Nov 28, 2013
merbenko: . Islam is not a religion my brother. Nothern Muslim are Evil.
A peaceful Nigeria is that Nigeria without northern Muslims.
If Islam is against alcohol, how come Yoruba Muslims like Tinubu and Fashola still allow the production of alcohol in Lagos and Yoruba land?
IslamRe: Sharia Police Smash Bottles Of Beer In Kano by confusion247(m): 11:26am On Nov 28, 2013
rossi49ja: While I have always been a strong proponent of One Nigeria, cases like this always makes me want to review my stance. Nigeria as a macrocosm to the best of my knowledge is not an islamic country and if acts like this should be perpetrated within its microcosm and a blind eye is turned to it then I think advocates of the act should get their freedom. Denial of one's social expression cos of some whacked up religious belief is not acceptable. Bloody hypocrites!!!
The more you support hypocritical One Nigeria, the more you ridicule yourself among moral human beings.
A country that has two different laws for its citizens can never be One. Which is superior now, Nigeria constitution or sharia law?
IslamRe: Sharia Police Smash Bottles Of Beer In Kano by confusion247(m): 11:22am On Nov 28, 2013
Nigeria is far from being One. Islam is the only religion on earth that is forced on people.
How many laws are we operating in hypocritical One Nigeria? Why not divide this country so that northerners will have an Islamic state and sharia?
Which is the legal law governing Nigeria today, Nigerian constitution or sharia law?

Kapish?
Why not do yourself a favor by declaring SW an independent state so that Jonathan will go back to Otueke and rule his people? Why are you so scared of existing without those you call ogogro people? Are you not ashamed that your ancestors fought for three years just to keep ogogoro people in their hypocritical One Nigeria?

You suppose to know that anything against Jonathan makes front page on nairaland. As far as northerners is not in support of Jonathan's administration, their western slaves will do anything to please them.

Built2last: someone should please explain to me the rational behind this write up.

i dont know whether to pray for ASUU to call of strike or recommend you see TB. J.
The rational behind this write up can be found if you will just do one thing. Write "yorubas are" in a Google search box and smile.
Yorubas are northern slaves and as such they will always support their master.
