Pavore9: Personally l see no need in them being summoned by the national assembly for a talk show rather their capacity on post-harvest preservation should be worked on. We need not import from neighbouring countries because we can easily be self-sufficient.
Their is a huge disconnect between the harvest in farms and our dining tables. For those who have worked the land in the rural areas can attest to wastages that is the lot of most rural farmers. There are crops some farmers don't even bother to harvest because the pricing in their local markets is not motivating enough.
Many village markets l have visited always do have heaps of unsold farm produce being left to rot away, that is why goats roaming there are always looking fresh. Whereas a simple innovation that does not require electricity can extend the life of those produce for an extra week or two.
Why can we not have mangoes all year round when the imported apples are always available? Apples that have been harvested months before it finally arrives Nigeria.
Knowledge is lacking! What is your proposed solution ton the problems? |

Gaskiya fa
PMB is now a victim of the same elite and cabals that he been against all along. Alas, the fear they had before about him were grossly exaggerated.
The president is a lost cause and his quest for power all these years were purely egotistical. His emptiness and hypocrisy have been laid bare for all to see. However, we the masses will survive this and live to vote another day. |
Politics › Re: Epic Quotes Online On Fuel Price Hike. by Consiglier: 9:19am On May 12, 2016 |
Built2last: Removing subsidy when econ was good & forex was surplus was refused only 2 face it now when econ is bad n forex gone. Fantastically stupid.
68% fuel price hike + 45% electricty tariff hike + 100% VAT increase + 9% airtime tax + 100% Naira depreciation. Dinner is served Nigerians
Since Buhari took over there's no product or service in Nig that d price has remained the same; everything is up and you say ure for d poor
Crude prices are still dropping yet the APC announce an over 50% increase in d price of PMS? So what were Fashola & the rest saying last yr?
Fuel will sell for N40 they said, well they didn't tell us there was a hidden figure before the 40! Nigerians welcome to change
'If anyone tells you that fuel subsidy exists, that person is a fraud'~ GMB, 2012.
It took him 11months to learn
Every passing day we find out that #OccupyNigeria was political and not economical. How else do you explain the silence?
I still see pictures of Tunde Bakare, Femi Falana, El-Rural, And many celebrities jumping at Abiola Garden chanting "GEJ must go!" in #OccupyNigeria 2012 Still fresh in my memory
20 litres in ur car & 10 litres for Gen at 145 Naira for 30 days is N130,500. Nepa bill, food and miscellaneous excluded. Let that sink in
Buhari simply increased petrol price, you don't remove subsidy and still fix the price...don't let "them" fool you...this is CRIMINAL!!
Since it's now N145 a litre , food prices and everything naturally going to go up...
Apart from ur salary .
So we are back to 2012 on this fuel subsidy?
We just delayed our lives by four years.
Clap for yourselves Nigerians. You played yourself.
Everyone returning to GEJ's policies
Latest is subsidy
Either they were wrong & GEJ was right,or theyre so bad that theyre copying failure
They said Jonathan gave us 10 naira change, oya go and buy fuel for 145 naira now
Lalasticlala hope you have full tank cos I Don enjoy my last lowest fuel price before pump is adjusted

It won't be suprising if Saraki gets off the hook. The federal govt should overhaul EFCC if their anti corruption prosecution and persecution will succeed. The EFCC are good at bringing charges on the pages of the newspaper but unable to prove it in court. |

Update It seems the school is taking its toll on my little girl, she has been deep asleep in my arms for about an hour now and the whole house is quiet except for the sound from the TV. Normally, the atmosphere will be pervaded with the sound of maama drop it, maama come here, maama leave it and her smile while whispering daddy. Oh Lord, I miss the drama |

Family › Who Would Have Ever Thought by Consiglier(op): 11:46am On May 11, 2016 |
Today is my daughter's first day at Creche, so I had to leave everything and take her there myself and stay back till thy ve closed. As I sit here waiting, I couldn't help but reflect on how things can change. The bond between me and my daughter is so strong that I can wait to get home everyday to see her. When I am out of town, I do spend endless time on the phone with her just to hear her say Daddy, bye bye and other mumbo jumbo; she's a year 4 months. Regrettably, I was not really prepared for her coming into the world when my wife announced she's pregnant. After months of quarrel, I just had to accept it like a man and do what I have to do. Her incessant cry when she was born sometimes drives me crazy, but then, she's my daughter and I have accepted her into my life, thanks to my wife's stubbornness . But now, she doesn't even call mummy but calls daddy like 1000 times a day . She clings to mummy when I am not home but once I am home, she tells mummy bye bye and clings to me ; how did I come to deserve this? She's smart enough to understand when I need to do some work at home to just lay quietly on my laps as I punch away at the keyboard, but also will not budge if she wants me to take her out (voooooom). However, whenever she's alone in another room and quiet, then she dey scatter things , my entrance will be welcomed with the shout of Daddy! and a mischievous smile. Her coming into my life has changed me that I can't be grateful enough to God and my wife. May God make me a more better father and husband everyday, Amen. |

With the current foreign exchange regime, paying expatriates have become very difficult due to the increased financial burden and a lot of companies have no option than to sack them.
The worst hit are the indians, since most of their so called Engineers here are actually labourers, who come here malnourrished and leave well fed.
Form the foregoing, it is not that difficult to understand why someone who lost his job here hates Nigeria. |
