Back to the story, i have been to over 5 Satellite dealers around Ikeja today and even most around Alagbado, but none have DAARSAT.

Where can i get this thing na, shamass77, u seem to be the only one that knows where o, so come o.

I noticed the channel reshuffle as at about 1am last night, but then there was no Animax.

As at the time i slept around 2am, still no animax, but the hi channels improved.

i can't wait to get home to night and see the Animax and improvement, as i didnt put on the generator this morning before leaving home.

Good addition to HiTV, we hope the remaining one foreign channel will be added today or before the end of the week.

And the great news about the channel is that is available on Compact Bouquet.

I suppose they have realised that Nigerians need to be able to watch live premiership and its likes with N4,300

Is anybody experience the same problem i am experiencing with Hi Nolly and BBC World?

On my Hitachi Wide Screen TV, Hi Nolly shrinks to the middle (Left and Right) anytime there is a movie going on but whenever there is an advert or if i press the Menu key,it stretches back to normal.

I have checked my settings, and it cant be solved, other channels do not do this.

As for BBC World, it stretches and cuts off the sides (Left and Right) and some of the bottom.

Some one should advice me is this is been experienced.

The HITV downloads didnt work for me, it came up with a very long page of jargons, like when a document is corrupt.

Am i the only one experiencing this, others pleaser lets know

I attended Eghosa Grammar School, Benin

We used to run home from school throwing/kicking stuffs like licked oranges at each other, whoever gets hit last and can't get to hit another person is a weakling.  With this method, we used to get home very fast.  At times, we would say is only by kicking, so when we get hit, the others will run, it will get to a stage, you will just av to pick up the orange with your hand and run after whoever.

We used to cover a lot of ground on time with this running thing, for those who know Benin, we will run from New Benin to Uselu, through Ukhoro and Medical Road, is quite far!!!!

We used to visit a fruit tree on our way from school, even when we know there were big dogs in the compound.  Whenever the dogs are released, we will run like mad for dear life.  One day, a friend climed and the dog was released while he was up, he later fell and broke his hand.

When in JSS 3 (Evening), we would play football after closing by 5pm till almost 7pm and without telling others, the owner of the ball will suddenly pick up the ball and starts running, others will follow suit without waiting, because by then it will be already dark, if you are left behind, sorry for you, because we believe there were witches in the school then.

so many more i can even put here

He talks about Americans holding election in multiple days (early voting) etc.

He should be ashamed, how many rumours of rigging did he hear in the just concluded election?

What beats my imagination is how some Nigerians can act so calmly in their foolishness and selfish interest as if its the norm.

He needs to be ashame of himself for the way Nigerias election was conducted and for the stupid statement he made yesterday.

Hello all Sat Gurus,

There is something i have found to be disturbing. We all believe DSTV is the best, no doubt to an extent they are.

But it is hard to believe that in less than 2 months, i have had to change three DSTV decorders because they no longer scan.

First, a DSD 990 was changed because it wont scan, and now the new DSD 1110 that was given in place of the DSD 990 is bad again, you guessed right, is no longer scanning.

It keeps scanning without success, please what do you think can be done, is there a firmware that one can load to reset the decorder?

I do believe someone will be able to help, because another DSD 990 just got bad again and since is no longer under warranty, DSTV say i have to buy another one which is to me a rip off.

Please help if you can.

Those channels you mentioned (E!, Nickelodeon) are not controlled by HITV, besides, pay tv is about repetition, even DSTV rotate their programs within their channels, most especially movies.

You must have upgraded at one point in time, to a new software patch.

Upgrade your DSD now and it will take nothing more than 50 seconds.

Upgrade your decorder.

What was funny about the whole incident is that, they were saying i should go to the nearest ATM and withdraw 30k to give to them, or we will go to their office at Simpsons, you know more like a threat.

I told them i didnt have money in the ATM, they kept insisting, meaning thats what they do to motorist, them don know say people get money for ATM.

Yes, i support the law when i saw in the papers, come to think of it, i almost lost my mum to a one way accident.

but what i hate about this is when those stupid police officers and lastma will begin to fill their pocket day in day out.

imagine what happened to me the other day at VI, i was on my way to MWEB Office (Near the beach) and coming out from Nitel and one stupid motorist forced me out of my lane in order not to avoid an accident i obliged but realised that i was suppose to be on the long queue going under the bridge, i then went to join the lane in front, suddenly two lastman men came running towards me, belive me i for fit run but i was thinkin is like Ikeja, where i drive everyday that maybe after giving them one thousand, they will leave me alone.

Dey there, they charged me with all sort of fine at the end, i hide 15k at my back pocket and only showed them 10k, they took 8k out of the 10k.

Now what baffles me is that, they saw me when i avoided the other motorist, are they not suppose to help and beside what happen else where is when you join traffic like that, u must keep moving on ur former lane, they will force u out to continue from the lane u were coming from, even if it is not you intended destination.

So just imagine how much them go chop when it comes to this 250,000.00 fine

I am scared that DaarSat is coming to knock HITV out of business, because DSTV will survive maybe with shaking legs.

See when they want to commence business, by the time the premiership is over, so that people wont base their judgement on Premiership, and besides, they say lots and lots of sports.

Forty channels no be joke o, no problem, we will buy all but seriously i am feeling for HITv cos i really wish tme well.

I think Kidsco is a good channel with alot of interesting movies for everyone (family) and not just kids.

I hope they will upload soon.
