Temple1288: Please, my dear I just need suggestions and advice on how I can go about it.. I explained myself----- and I'm not a ghost to know if he has good intentions for me... And I have not known this person and his family for a short while, I've known them for more than 2 years, even before I came out from Sec school----- it has been a while..
Tell your brother how I can go about..
From all I see here, people do ask questions and they get answers and opinions in positive ways..
God bless! I am sorry if my response sounded Negative, but its my opinion and an advice. If you cant take diverse opinions, then do not post and question. You have been told by others how to go about, put in work and do some research. Read this thread from the first page, you will get all the information needed. |

She can look at online services, by mail, less expensive and no headache dealing with nasty people lol, I have had my fair share at the London Embassy, i totally understand. |

I've known this man who's from America (Mississippi State) and his family for 2 years----through the internet and now they want me to come over to the USA.. I just graduated from Sec school../[quote]Most important advice is be very careful, he being an American does not mean his intentions are good. I wonder ho you will meet a secondary school leaver over the internet and suggest adoption...it is sketchy to me. There are perverts everywhere, discuss with your parents and possibly have them discuss with him also. |

tkaylove: Thank you so much constance234 for your reply. Can I just ask reason why you said my hubby applying alone will be best as i was thinking he will have a better chance of approval if we accompanied him. I thought i ask to educate myself and others too and also have you come across anyone with our sort of application or request. Thank you my brother I stated the reason in the original post. Here it is again...You and your baby stand the chance to forfeit youe ESTA priviledges if for any reason visa is denied. Also having ESTA, makes your hubby the one piece remaining to make the trip a sucess. #In my opinion and what i would have considered if i were you .It is not worth risking your chances to get ESTA with your British passort just so you guys can apply as a family. |

tkaylove: My lovely people I need your help and advice. Myself, my husband and our baby are planning a trip to the US. Now myself and our baby are British citizens but my husband a Nigerian passport holder. Do not apply with your Nigerian passport even if you do get one. If for any reason the visa application is unsuccessful, you and your baby would not be eligible for ESTA anymore.Apply for your ESTA now, your hubby should apply alone and when asked during the interview about being married and kids he should state it."My wife and child are both British citizens and only require ESTA which has been approved for their travel." He should have your passport and kids passport with approved ESTA copy, just incase it gets to it and VO wants to see. |

If you got your visa and have nothing to hide why fear POE, key thing is dont raise any red flag at the primary, or you will be sent to secondary. There anything and everything will or might be checked. |

lorietta: Imagine! This same agents were the ones that led to my family and I's denial last month. I am a graduate student and also a civil servant. We have read peoples experiences here, where the Vo asked to wait 90 days after an application is denied. Forget about the wedding for now and you were asked by the vo if you were married or single, you answered single. This singular act has shifted the punnisment for misrepresentation from the agent to you, it would have been better if you corrected it at that point, all your answers were recorded. |

Let's say I have processed this stuff to the stage of the interview ..and I was asked if I got someone in the states ..what are the oppurtunies tied to me me saying a Yes or No..but truth to be told,I don't have anyone in d states. One step at a time. Get the visa first, then POE will follow. Say the truth during the visa interview, even if visa is not issued now it will be issued one day. You will always remember your information and remember consistency is important. All the best. |

That's a whole lot to loose .. Maybe im gonna contact him now to use all my original details ooo to avoid the later shortcomings or what do you think lol exactly, many of us ACTED the tourist ish. Key thing here is please dont let the agent mess up your information at the embassy, it will surely come back and bite you even if visa is issued now. Count your loss and possibly move on, agents most times always believe in boosting application, he might still make one ot two alterations to your real details and facts. |

Classified60: please house does canadian embassy shares applicant's information with american embassy? I've got som Visa denial means little or nothing to most embassies, each application is evaluated on its own merits. Better to state the obvious that give them reason to wonder what else you are hiding. Embassies and missions abroad share info all the time. If there is a space for that when filling the form he should state it, if non and asked during the interview he should explain. |

Cook up any story NOW, and get off the deceitful ship. Read this thread carefully and digest the experiences shared here freely, use that as a guide as you apply for the visa yourself. kunzo: Pls, is there anyone that have knowledge about the message below? I purchased a promo tickets for me and my wife from Qartar airline to Washington DC towards ending of this month and I got this message from a friend.
America used to be great but in this new era of Mr. Trump, nothing is predictable!
COPIED POST:
US IMMIGRATION
A Nigerian arrived at JFK airport with a valid 2 year visa. She was held by US Immigration for over 12 hours and then deported with a 5 year ban. Her crime was that she flew Qatar airline. That was the red flag. The ignorant immigration officials wanted to know why she would fly from Nigeria to Qatar instead of through Europe. They wanted to know her contacts Qatar. She said it was due to cheap ticket price. They searched her phones , looked at all her contacts and even called her job in Nigeria. After all the humiliation they said she had two choices , she could either go back to Nigeria or be put in detention in the US while they continue with extreme vetting. This all happened yesterday in our New United States. Please when traveling check your phones, your messages, your internet. Don't take unknown packages or letters for people and if you can avoid certain airlines please. I am not trying to alarm you JFK is now like a war zone with lawyers and protesters on standby. If you have a green card , you better apply for citizenship as the green card is almost worthless . I am sorry to say she didnt tell them the true situation or evidences found on her phone or luggage. How can you be coming for vacation and have with you divorce decree, Birth certificates, Original results and transcripts? This proves intent and thats a big issue once one is subjected to search at any airport in the world. Turkey is a more hostile country than Qatar( international perception) still thousands arrive with Turkish airlines. |

bravedude: 3rd transcript This time an aggressive vo Vo...your passport Me....gave it to him Vo.....why are u going to America Me.....for vacation Vo.......where are u going to Me.......Orlando fl Vo........where in Orlando and why Me......Disney world because an agent we just met advice we visit Disney world. Vo.......how much does a ticket cost in Disney world Me.......I haven't been there how will I know. Vo........how much do u have for this trip Me........I told him and immediately he gave us the blue paper.
At this point,i decided to give yankee a break and try UK,Got it without stress.Traveled to UK and waited for a year before trying yankee again.
4th transcript, this time we have a son and we all traveled to the UK last year summer.
Vo.....why are u going to America Me......for a short family vacation to celebrate our 2 years wedding anniversary and my wife's bday Vo.....where are u going to in America Me......Orlando fl Vo.......what do you do for work Me........I am the CEO blablabla company and w are into blablabla Vo.........so you are a business man Me.........yes Vo..........I can see you have applied for visa so many times, why Me.........:yes,we applied for our honeymoon to Hawaii 2 years ago and we were denied,I reapplied again and was still denied. Vo........madam I can see that your last name is different from your previous application, was it before u got married Wifey ......yes Vo.........what did u do for work last year Wifey......I wasn't working last year...very wise VO ,i filled my wife isn't working because I asked her not to work. Vo.....packaging our passport together and gave us the white slip,u can pick your passport in 3 days time Me...thank you.
From my understanding, traveling to the Uk boost your chances of getting America visa to 99% the remaining 1% is your confidence. My interview was 30th of Jan which happens to be my birthday.I learnt alot here,i noticed the way i responded to my last questions was very different from my previous interviews. Thanks guys. In my opinion from the transcripts, i think majorly this is the only time you had a grasp and knew what you were going for and answered the few questions accurately. Take the 3rd interview, where you were asked how much a ticket to disney costs and you answer was you dont know. The ticket price can be found online and also how will you plan finacially for the trip if you dont know costs.Thats why its not advisable to use agents, do the research yourself and this little details will stick. Happy anniversary and enjoy your trip |

Truth be told about Non Immigrant visas, each applicant is deemed a prospective immigrant. Be you from the E.U, Asia or wherever.
Many of you dont even know what is called Diplomatic reciprocity, in the eye of the international community, Indians are more prone to abscond than any other country and they also have an alarming population but alas they are issued 10 years USA visa.
I personally dont like the idea of Miracle and God being ascribed to some basic things like filling your DS 160 accurately and knowing when the time is right to apply for any visa not just an American visa. But we can not take away the fact that naturally there are people more lucky and favoured than others, i dont want to delve into the factor responsible for this but it happens that is why our situations are different. some peoples luck may be their pretty/handsome face, their voice it can be just about anything to create that atmosphere where their case or situation is given more attention and slight error overlooked. Please lets let those that believe in a higher being to do so freely, dont force your beliefs on others.
About VOs saying "Congtratulations" to an applicant whose visa just got approved, i think it depends on the individual and not the Embassy he or she is stationed at. I was told congratulations when i got my USA visa at the embassy in London UK. My brother was told same in Germany,my cousin was told same in Denmark. While my parents applied and had their first visa applroved in Nigeria were not told congratulations.
I have seen on TV (US border force) where a UN diplomat from Holland was deported back because he presented first his dutch passport and that became legal, he was evaluated on that and was not found admissible (He has a UN passport and was going to attend a meeting with the trade ministers from 3 south South American countries). These shows that just about anyone can be denied entry and deported.
Also to the guy who has had a US visa denial in the past, even if you eventually become a citizen of Sweden you will still need to apply for visa as you have had a denial before. ESTA only applies to those who havent been denied visa or denied entry into USA. |

Yes you are on the right track as per the application date showing, its showing the date you started filling the form.why don't you do your tb test now?it lasts 6 months so no worries, its better,so you have ample time before application,if you still want to have test done 1st then you can submit application afterwards,2nd,3rd,4th any date that suits you. |
