I had a hard time in Nigerian consulate in Atlanta, it looked to me the Nigerian employees are very jealous about other Nigerians starting a family in US. She can look at online services, by mail, less expensive and no headache dealing with nasty people

I stated the reason in the original post. Here it is again...You and your baby stand the chance to forfeit youe ESTA priviledges if for any reason visa is denied.Also having ESTA, makes your hubby the one piece remaining to make the trip a sucess.

#In my opinion and what i would have considered if i were you .It is not worth risking your chances to get ESTA with your British passort just so you guys can apply as a family.

Do not apply with your Nigerian passport even if you do get one. If for any reason the visa application is unsuccessful, you and your baby would not be eligible for ESTA anymore.Apply for your ESTA now,your hubby should apply alone and when asked during the interview about being married and kids he should state it."My wife and child are both British citizens and only require ESTA which has been approved for their travel."
He should have your passport and kids passport with approved ESTA copy, just incase it gets to it and VO wants to see.

Whats with the POE scare these days its annoying to say the least. If you got your visa and have nothing to hide why fear POE, key thing is dont raise any red flag at the primary, or you will be sent to secondary. There anything and everything will or might be checked.

Imagine! This same agents were the ones that led to my family and I's denial last month. I am a graduate student and also a civil servant.

We have read peoples experiences here, where the Vo asked to wait 90 days after an application is denied. Forget about the wedding for now and you were asked by the vo if you were married or single, you answered single. This singular act has shifted the punnisment for misrepresentation from the agent to you, it would have been better if you corrected it at that point, all your answers were recorded.

One step at a time. Get the visa first, then POE will follow.
Say the truth during the visa interview, even if visa is not issued now it will be issued one day. You will always remember your information and remember consistency is important.

lol exactly, many of us ACTED the tourist ish. Key thing here is please dont let the agent mess up your information at the embassy, it will surely come back and bite you even if visa is issued now. Count your loss and possibly move on, agents most times always believe in boosting application, he might still make one ot two alterations to your real details and facts.

Visa denial means little or nothing to most embassies, each application is evaluated on its own merits. Better to state the obvious that give them reason to wonder what else you are hiding. Embassies and missions abroad share info all the time. If there is a space for that when filling the form he should state it, if non and asked during the interview he should explain.

Please stop the transaction with the agent, he/she will cause you more harm than good. You will end up having alot of fake information filed up on your behalf, and possible earn you a lifetime BAN. Cook up any story NOW, and get off the deceitful ship. Read this thread carefully and digest the experiences shared here freely, use that as a guide as you apply for the visa yourself. The only information you can remember for a lifetime is the truth, and not fake information to make your form look delicious. Someone here got her visa, she earns 40k which she genuinely filled in her form.

I am sorry to say she didnt tell them the true situation or evidences found on her phone or luggage. How can you be coming for vacation and have with you divorce decree, Birth certificates, Original results and transcripts? This proves intent and thats a big issue once one is subjected to search at any airport in the world. Turkey is a more hostile country than Qatar( international perception) still thousands arrive with Turkish airlines.

From my understanding,traveling to the Uk boost your chances of getting America visa to 99% the remaining 1% is your confidence.My interview was 30th of Jan which happens to be my birthday.I learnt alot here,i noticed the way i responded to my last questions was very different from my previous interviews.Thanks guys.

In my opinion from the transcripts, i think majorly this is the only time you had a grasp and knew what you were going for and answered the few questions accurately. Take the 3rd interview, where you were asked how much a ticket to disney costs and you answer was you dont know. The ticket price can be found online and also how will you plan finacially for the trip if you dont know costs.Thats why its not advisable to use agents, do the research yourself and this little details will stick. Truth be told about Non Immigrant visas, each applicant is deemed a prospective immigrant. Be you from the E.U, Asia or wherever.

Many of you dont even know what is called Diplomatic reciprocity, in the eye of the international community, Indians are more prone to abscond than any other country and they also have an alarming population but alas they are issued 10 years USA visa.

I personally dont like the idea of Miracle and God being ascribed to some basic things like filling your DS 160 accurately and knowing when the time is right to apply for any visa not just an American visa.But we can not take away the fact that naturally there are people more lucky and favoured than others, i dont want to delve into the factor responsible for this but it happens that is why our situations are different. some peoples luck may be their pretty/handsome face, their voice it can be just about anything to create that atmosphere where their case or situation is given more attention and slight error overlooked. Please lets let those that believe in a higher being to do so freely, dont force your beliefs on others.

About VOs saying "Congtratulations" to an applicant whose visa just got approved, i think it depends on the individual and not the Embassy he or she is stationed at. I was told congratulations when i got my USA visa at the embassy in London UK. My brother was told same in Germany,my cousin was told same in Denmark. While my parents applied and had their first visa applroved in Nigeria were not told congratulations.

I have seen on TV (US border force) where a UN diplomat from Holland was deported back because he presented first his dutch passport and that became legal, he was evaluated on that and was not found admissible (He has a UN passport and was going to attend a meeting with the trade ministers from 3 south South American countries). These shows that just about anyone can be denied entry and deported.

Also to the guy who has had a US visa denial in the past, even if you eventually become a citizen of Sweden you will still need to apply for visa as you have had a denial before. ESTA only applies to those who havent been denied visa or denied entry into USA.

To make things clearer for the ECO,there should be a transaction on the day you want as your start of 28days count and also on last day before u print to show closing balance date,date of closing balance should not be more than 31 days before u apply.

Depends on the availability of interview date,december is always tight cos that's the last month for students resuming january to submit the application,since your 28th days completes on the 27th,fill the form and submit on that day and try to book appointment,you should get the date you want.

Yes you are on the right track as per the application date showing,its showing the date you started filling the form.why don't you do your tb test now?it lasts 6 months so no worries,its better,so you have ample time before application,if you still want to have test done 1st then you can submit application afterwards,2nd,3rd,4th any date that suits you.

From my own experience,never apply to just one university,apply to at least 3 or 4,then make final choice and follow thru with them,january is just around the corner.Also last I checked up on London met they just Got the highly trusted sponsor status back after a while off.try and call the international office.
