Hi, i have been ok.

They will not include your English score in the CAS. They will only say that, as a Higher Education Institution, they have accessed your English language capability and that it meets with the requirement. That is also what you would tick in your VISA application form.

Also, remember to give them the exact name of the documents you're submitting, as it was written on the document, so you won't get into unnecessary trouble with the visa officer

how are you doing,i know cool,pls i need to be certain on this,the university just sent me my CAS checking sheet,i checked and nothing was mentioned about the English language being assessed by them,as i know this is the last chance i can edit details before signing should i point this out or it will be included as B2 when the actual CAS is prepared,did you see this when you were sent your CAS checking list.

spikesC: It doesn't matter if you don't have accommodation before applying.
You don't have anything to worry about accommodation as far you have the funds. What people are advised to do is, you look for accommodation online, tell the landlord you're coming to see it as so so date. Then when you land, you lodge in a hotel for a few days, view the houses, pay and move in.

Is accommodation really the reason why you're deferring or you have any other worries?

Thanks so much,no accomodation wasn't the reason I defered,I was away and just got back I don't think I could do all the run around to get docs together as I know my uni will even delay in issuing transcript for my bachelors amongst other things.i want to get it right as I know hurry will make me miss some details.january is just around the corner.still Greenwich so I still owe u that meet up.lol

I am very happy for you,congrats and I finally decided to defer my resumption to January as this season is so rushed and I don't wanna be caught up in a fix.
I don't plan paying for accomodation,I want to search for one myself when I do get to the uk,does it matter I don't have one when applying?

Its obvious from your name that you have issues. You do not know me so i would appreciate if you kept your comments to yourself if you have nothing positive to say. I sent the school rep my Login details to verify that all is fine. He replied in the affirmative that there were no issues with the form, only to come back 3 days later after i had submitted and sent him the printout that i made a mistake.
How is it my fault??

You are being such a kid,what has worry359 typed wrong,he was only telling you point blank how you should go about it,you filled the form and signed so telling the ECO your school rep didn't vet the form diligently will be shooting yourself in the foot.as stated write about the mistake on a separate piece of paper and submit as it is evident you must have submitted the form online and cant edit.nobody is here to witch hunt you but to render assistance in the best way they can,if you had turned to this forum earlier maybe you wont be needing any school rep to blame now.

I just got the confirmation from the university,i was asked to go ahead with the Neco,my issue now is i will rather they dont include it in the CAS as i wont want to have to explain whichever way to the Embassy on the alphabetical error in my certificate.

Fixed account is actually a cash fund. U have access to it at anytime. O ga oo

Fixed deposit is not a cash fund it is an investment fund and you don't have the money at the snap of a finger as you would with funds in savings or current accounts.
That is why when you fix your fund it's moved from your account this shows you have no control on the usage pending either when the funds mature or you terminate the investment.
Pls pls dot listen to any agent they will only deceive you.

if you are applying from lagos send a mail to them iomlagosmedicalbooking@iom.int or abuja iomabujamedicalbooking@iom.int
they will reply you will details on how to pay the money it was 21,170 NGN when the sent me a mail,and also date your appointment is booked for
Please Note in the mail send your full name,also what you need the test for(make sure you specify its for uk tier 4 student visa)

spikesC: Don't worry about the affidavit now. Just scan the doc and send to the school and notify them about the mistake in the email.
If they add the doc in your cas, which they won't even do, then you can get an affidavit and submit with your visa application.

Also, you don't need to add a neco scratch card.

In your CAS was it stated you should submit your waec certificate to show Enlish proficiency?
because if i need to show the ECO this then there may be an issue...what do you think

I have the original its since,but issue now is i have a mistake on my surname spelling,an alphabet is missed,will this be a problem or i can just attach a sworn affidavit and also a Neco scratch card so the can check online.thanks

spikesC: which school is that? if they accept waec they would accept another proof. Ask them if they would take a written official letter from your school, stating that you were taught in English and that your English is very good.

Tell them that you can't take the English test, that they should ask for any other proof.

Nope i have NECO i am going for an Msc so my degree is needed,The WAEC was needed to wave me taking the english language test as apparently they dont accept NECO in lieu.

Or is it that they require only wassce and you provided only Neco

yes they needed WASSCE I provided NECO all this was after the fact when they clarified they wanted WAEC..

advice please,apparently there was a communication issue between me and my school in Uk,the waived the English language requrement on the premise i possessed c6 in WASSCE,but i have a c4 in NECO so now i have to take a language test.
pls which is faster and also i can pass more easily IELTS OR PTE

Please one last question,in 2012 i also had a US visit visa denied,i was going to see my boyfriend at the time.reason was denied was that they aint satisfied i fulfil the requirement for a visit visa.
should i also include this when filling my online application in the space for previous country denial or just click No,i know US and UK embassies work together.

No,they havent started the biometric stuff then,its with the old nigerian passport also not the E passport,it happened in 2005

The reason then was because the account was a company account,the ECO said he cant be sure the money will be there for me when i need it because its needed to run the company.i appealed and lost.

The main issue I have is with my moms maiden surname,then I used a friends uncles statement of account so I used his surname as my moms maiden surname because I wrote he is my uncle.i can't even remember the mans name and will also want to use all true details now.thank you

good day to you all also contributors here,
A-i will be making my UK visa application in some weeks time,i have a few questions to ask.
What are the steps in filling the form,i want to have the knowledge before i start so i wont make any mistake.

B-when do i fill my form online,after my 28days is complete and i print statement of account or i can fill form first then print statement like a day before going to embassy?

C-in 2005 i was denied a student visa,i appealed and lost the appeal i went ahead to study in Nigeria and graduated in a Nigerian university,i want to know if they will still have the record as its 9 years now or it will still be in the system,i wont want to tick that i have been denied visa to the uk before.(main reason being i don't remember most of the information i filled in the form,i know i made some stuff up then)

D-my university didn't ask for English language test as i completed my degree in English taught university,will the embassy still insist on me having the English language proficiency test result even though my University doesn't?
