People are really dreaming. The only thing that will make buhari not to be President beyond 2019 is if he decides not to contest or if God say so. If not, tweets of this nature can not deter him. The last time I checked, the man has even become more popular than he was in 2015. |
So now the number of your customers will now increase. |
Like joke this Tony Nwoye will just win this election while some people will continue to dream that APC is Hausa and Buhari's party. |
As the saying goes, too much of anything is a disease and this isn't an exception. |
All these overgrown aunties and fantasy. Make we look for better news jareee!
|
Oga bend let me tell you. This man at my back would have been the real deal for Ebonyi state.
|
Nigerian press is really at its worst state for the past five years now. The way they now twist stories just to sell their papers or to attract traffic to their sites is quite unbecoming. Most at times they give headlines that are very contradictory to the main story such that while reading the main story one starts wondering the relationship with the headline. This issue now will just end there because the reporter has achieved his aim which is to incite Nigerians. Else he should show the video evidence. |
UN, Transparency international etc. You people with your fake reports just to achieve sinister motives. And for those insulting buhari, its a shame you can be easily bought and have your brain easily twisted. We can be so ungrateful, in all sincerity if not for this government boko haram could have been in every part of this country by now. Please UN help us with the pictures of the book haram boys in those local governments as well as the names of those places. Again to Nigerians my question is, in few years back did we need UN or anybody to tell us that boko haram was occupying some local governments in Borno state? Did we not feel their presence on a daily bases? Let's always be critical with our opinions. |
My major take away in this whole issue is the reaction of Nigerians on this matter. Which sugests that the war againts corruption is actually succeeding. People are now receiving the message and it is equally changing us for good. Majority of Nigerians can now strongly condem evil when they see one. Without sounding imodest, bring this same issue 3 or 4 years ago, everyone would agree with me that it wouldnt have been a news. But as one can see, Nigerians going by their reactions are now helping directly or indirectly in fighting this menace called corruption. I know so many areas the present government could have done better but as humans there are, I was never expecting perfect situation either. I just pray that whoever that will take over from this man will fight to sustain or surpas what he has achieved in this regard. |
These people like insulting everybody in this country. To say that Nigeria has no alternative other than PDP is the height of insult. All because they know we easily forget and in most cases hail and party with them after looting our common resources. |
Good and quick reaction by PMB. Although some people will still have problem with that. |
Shehu Sani, Dino melaye and Ben Bruce are all pretenders who only become activists when issues are against them or are coming from certain opponents. Nigerians have been enraged about what national assembly members are earning but they have kept mum since, only to tweet or comment when another one is involved. |
Nigeria is such a sorry country if somebody like Jonathan can still be talking in this manner after supritending over the worst Democratic governance in terms of corruption and lack of vision. Well, after all we hail and party with looters who have looted our future. But its very unfortunate. |
The world has lost its flavour. |
Even here at Abakiliki its same. I have been asking other people to know if Abakiliki was singled out for this not knowing its almost everywhere. We thank God for that. |
This is a welcome development, most of this people now spend more time in their private clinics than the place they are working. They even corner most cases and refer them to their private clinics where they bill the common man exorbitantly. The high and mighty ones divert medical consumables to their private clinics. They commit all these and after some intervals turn to the same government they are sabotaging and ask for jumbo pay and in most cases proceed on strike action. |
As we post and abuse PMB or GEJ let's not forget that budget allocation is a proposal and not actual disbursement. In as much as I am not holding forth for anyone, I am merely asking that we make informed criticism by finding out the actual fund disbursed before concluding that the money has been looted. The Budget IT that released this information should have helped in also releasing the actual disbursement in those years so that any critic would have enough information. |
You are correct sir. Some of them including you are definitely at wrong places. |
Why is divorce so rampart in Nollywood? BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE FAKE LIFE AND BELIEVING IN FANTASY IS COMMON. |
Though FFK has never represented anything good in this country and this his trash is one of those his selfish psych to the gullible minds. He thinks he can hide under the Kanu charade and cause war in this country. He has refused to be responsible. Els, he should know that what Kanu is doing now is causing provocation among the diverse interests in the country. To make the country ungovernable can not be more pronounced than what he is encouraging KANU to do. I wish Kanu will denounce his British citizenship and return his family to Nigeria so that when the war comes, it will be fought by all and sundry. |
This FFK might soon die of heart attack. Ever since him and his party lost the last election, he has refused to move on like his colleagues in PDP. His heart and mind has never known peace. He is full of hatred and only good at insulting people at any slightest chance. I have checked to know what he achieved in his role as aviation minister, I couldn't see any. Not even a blue print that will help for future planning in the ministry. Rather, you looted every kobo budgeted for the sector and now you have constituted yourself as embarrassment that has never been associated with someone who has hold such important position in this country. I hadly would pick any moral lesson any young person of today will ever learn from you. Please everything about life does not start and end in politics, bridge building is what somebody of your status should be doing, who says your grand/great grand children would never likely have anything to do with those of Okorocha's? Or any of those people you call unprintable names? Unfortunately for you, most of those people have all given back to the society in many folds, which is in sharp contrast to you who has no such record. |
Nice outlook. Please how much is their fees, and where is the school located? |
End time and agents of satan are seriously fighting to win more souls for their oga. |
All I know is that, as long as women still package themselves as sex symbols, all these noise about gender equality will remain a mirage. It does not matter how much noise is made or how many bills is sponsord and passed in the national assmbly to put foward women emancipation. Rather, it is only when the women folk stop making it look like they are sex object only good for men to solve their libido needs, just like this rubish in the name of car wash. They must dream big, have aspiration to attain zenith in every human endavour. Last time, it was Ms Anambra (Chidinma) vs cucumber. Then I ask, who are the real mothers, who are the real role models with strong and rich moral upbringing. I am tired of feeding my eyes with characters who adone themselves with rags and paint themselves like the shrine of ogbunike cave, looking for men to lure to bed and temporily satisfy their sexual urge. I want to see more of late Prof. Akunyili, Okonjo I weala, Chimandas, Adesuns etc. These are women who made it to the zenith not by stupid car washing of this nature and similar vices, but by hadworking and purposeful focus in distinguishing themselves among their equals. |
Meanwhile one yeye party is in Ghana saying that Nigerians are regretting voting out GEJ under whose supervision we got all these mess. I disagree completly, without much prejudice, one cannot claim ignorant of the fact that all these loots was what brought the present hash condition in the country. |
Reno by the time Lauretta responds to this your trash, you will run and deny that you never wrote anything like this, just as you did on the issue of PMB donating $500m to Clinton campaign. |
Good appointments and a good way to start. This approach will no doubt add the needed momentum in the affairs of his administration. |
Fani Kayode you never loved this country, what you always preach is about ethnic prejudice, hatred, religious intolerance, why we must divide etc.But do you know that; California is the 6th largest economy in the world. It's economy is larger than that of France or Brazil. The little problem is that California is not a country. It is a State in the United States of America. It has little offshore oil, yet its economy is larger than States in the US that are famous for their oil reserves, like Texas. California generates much of its revenue from non-oil products. It found a way to absorb and domesticate much of the intellectual output from its premier university, Stanford University, into saleable products within its economy. As a matter of fact, much of California's economy is built around Stanford University. So with this, Silicon valley developed. I'm sure you've heard of Silicon Valley at least once in your life. Now with Silicon Valley came companies like Apple, eBay, Cisco, Lockheed, Hewlett Packard (HP), Google, Netflix, Facebook, Oracle, Tesla...and the list goes on and on ad infinitum. These are multibillion-dollar companies. The yearly budget of any one of these companies might be larger than the entire yearly budget of, say for example, Akwa Ibom State. I'm taking about companies that are richer than countries. They are all in California. But that is just in the technology industry where the technologies and inventions spewing out of Stanford are caught midair and converted to money spinning enterprises. But there is also the entertainment industry in California. Yes, Hollywood is in California. The US movies industry contributes about $504Billion to USA's GDP. Hollywood, as you know, contributes over 70% of that figure. Most iconic movie studios are in Hollywood. As a matter of fact, the "Big Eight" consisting of 20th Century Fox, Columbia Pictures, MGM (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer), Paramount Pictures, RKO Radio Pictures, United Artists, Universal Studios and Warner Bros are, or were, all in Hollywood. These again, are multi-billion dollar companies generating revenue for California. Despite the above, California also thrives on agriculture. As at 2014, California had nothing less than 77,000 farms and ranches raking in about $55Billion in revenue yearly. It produces over 400 agricultural commodities, a large chunk of which it exports. It is the leader in producing exotic fruits in America. Its wine industry is unique. California wine is drunk with relish the world over. I used to drink some too. This is just one State in America. You see, California actually had a choice of sitting back and striving to get a piece of the revenue generated from Texas' oil. It could have depended solely on Federal allocation to survive so that every month end, it will send its Commissioner of Finance to Washington DC to receive monthly allocation so that it can barely pay salaries of its workers and nothing more. Then San Francisco would resemble Ajegunle in Lagos. And there certainly would not be those beautiful sights and sounds that make California what it is today. But No, not California. Not America. California gives to the center and, because of its wealth, despises the idea of depending on it for survival. The Federal Government actually needs California to survive, not the other way round. You see, America is structured in such a way that States must look inwards to exploit their wealth for the good of its citizens. There is no free lunch for the lazy States. There certainly is no commonwealth. But there is your wealth, if you can create it. Under American Federalism, you are the captain of your ship. But again, you are also the waves upon which the ship will sail. That is America. The local government, the government closest to the grassroot, is deliberately made the strongest level of government. Items like Variances (adaptation of state law to local conditions,) Public works (yes, public works!!), Contracts for public works, Licensing of public accommodations, Assessable improvements, Basic public services are all left for local county governments to handle. I can go on and on, despite all these and many more, Califonia and states alike never asked to disintegerate from the rest of America. Reason is that they know that their strenght lies in the unity of America as a whole and not how much revenue the gets from the center. You want to simpertise with Bayelsa state because they did not get Ambasadorial slot but in all the time even for the 16yrs your party PDP ruled, all the states never produced Ambasadors because of some diplomatic considerations. So why make it look like it all started with buhari. Amechi and River state as a whole under the leadership of your party and his brother Jonathan just because Amechi disagreed to be denied his victory at the governors forum election, yet every sensible and patriotic Nigerians preached peace because of the needed unity in this country. The Igbos you out of pretence claim that you are speaking for never said you should speak for them. After all you know how highly we regard and respect Ojukwu (Ikemba Nnewi), yet you went round last time bragging how you slept with the wife, do you know is a very big slap and disrespect to the entire Igbo race? We ignored you out of love for one country. And I think it is only appropriate and statesmanlike, if we should at all time preach love for one another and not hatred born out of political differences. |
It is really terrible. Sorry my fellow man, I can imagine how unsettled this will make you, with the thoughts of imaginations of what they could be doing to her. Its a worst experience for any man to have his lovely wife caged by another man over a night. I enjoin your family in prayers for her safe return. |
The various ratings by all the respondents for me are quite welcomed and must be respected. However, the very important question to all these is how did we get to this point. I have refused to ignore the past or pretend that I dont know things will get this bad. We as a nation havebeen very wreckless and have always ignored to plan for the future and the rainy day. Public wealth hasbeen squandered as if they rain like water from the sky for 16yrs, corruption become our culture and norms all of a suden. We clap and celeberate any public servant who have utilised a little part of our public wealth to provide any social amenities, as if they are using their personal resources to do those things thereby asking accountability to hail with you. For our information, for those who do not know, THE SINS OF OUR PAST LEADERS HAS JUST COUGHT UP WITH US. Unfortunately for PMB, destiny has just thrown him up to swim in the mess. Habbaa! Give me a break. Who says that with the kind situation he met on ground there wount be mistakes here and there? I havent seen any Jesus in our country to bring ominiscience attributes to fix the whole mess with perfection just within 15months in office. My hapiness is that mr president and his team are not sleeping, I have seen concrete steps being taken to bring a lasting solution to our woes. For instance; -The CBN Agric anchor programe to end food importation by 2018. - Pusuance of the moden rail system to revatalise different aspects of the economy which will creat millions of jobs. - The PPP being planned for the dredging of the second Niger bridge which will unlock millions of opportunities especially in the south East. - The cleaning up of Ogoni oil spill and other areas affected by the spill. This policy alone will unlock millions of opportunities especiary in fishery and other farming activities. -Legal issues affecting Ajaokuta steel complex hasbeen resolved and it will start production of steel in no distant time. - Every issues affecting counterpart funding which has not allowed for the repair of so many of our infrastructure hasbeen handled. Hence the china trips by mr president and his men. - Very importantly, one should read the content of the latest bill mr president wants to send to the national assembly by September 12. All these and many more cannot be attributed to a confused president. The line of thoughts and policies are there just that they cant guarantee quick fixes because they are long term plans. If there is any time we can boast of a sincere and upright president, its just now. I can assure all and sundry that before the close of 2018, those ratings will only point towards positive. |
So this man, God did not show you anything good about Nigeria? Its only doom doom. Well bible really warned us about people like you that will come to pretend with his name. Please get ready to hide your face in shame because God will grant us peace as a country come 2016. If you benefit from our past troubles as a nation, then am sorry your cup is full. |
