Kobojunkie:i got that info from word of mouth. not too reliable but the source has nothing to gain from lying. his bank had employed hundreds of fresh graduates as marketers - those young peops who chase up investors up and down the city and are expected to meet a required target per month. after the naija's banking system suffered hiccups, the bank had to tidy up to reduce costs. it was then they streamlined their staff, kicked out the non-performers, found out some used fake certificates and so on and forth. in all, his bank kicked out about 900 alone in the 40 or so branches in south west nigeria. |
Kobojunkie:they laid off hundreds of employees to take in more qualified employees. in short, hundreds of new employees would have been given jobs to replace the archaic ones who either don't have the necessary skills or were sacked for forged certificates. |
Idowuogbo:at this rate, all you need is 4 halloween masks, 2 uzis and 2 mac-11s and 3 more accomplices. pay lloyds bank an august visit on a saturday morning. ![]() vera wang? your mouth don wide! |
This article makes a good point, about how it can be difficult for those who go abroad intending to stay only a short period of time to return. Both for financial/career reasons (can be challenging to leave a great job abroad and return to Nigeria), and for social ones (the loneliness she alluded to.)
it's a great post. . . . .he had some raw statistics to back it up as well. i know a lot of immigrants left the u-s in 2009 at the peak of the recession. i don't have the stats again but the figure was staggering. in fairness, majority of those people would have scampered back because of their experience when they got back to africa. it's difficult trying to relocate. there's a huge gulf between the 2 worlds. unless one has a good back-up plan and capital to start a profitable business, going back can be suicidal. |
Idowuogbo:your mouth don wide. manage £800 balenciaga handbag. classy, relatively unknown, fresh! |
Idowuogbo:there are louis vuitton bags of 700 quid. why waste 1750 on hermes? are you the bride? |
dayokanu:hehehehe there are variants of 4-4-2, mr dayokanu. so tread carefully. there's 4-1-2-1-2(diamond formation) and 4-2-2-2 sometimes, people still refer to these formations as 4-4-2. tell me the games okocha and kanu played together and i will tell you who played as 8 and who played as 10. |
freecocoa:apology accepted! ![]() Idowuogbo:the aim is to put her in the family way. Cougar for 90days i will do a marc jacob perf called Lola , Poison by Beyonce , Hermes bag ,Jimmy choo shoe and bag and ipad chikenathe voucher should cover all that! spend wisely. ![]() |
dayokanu:i am not even sure nigeria played the traditional 4-4-2 then. so it's a bit tedious to be asking me what kanu and okocha were if we are not sure the formation deployed was 4-4-2. the examples i have given you were teams who played 4-4-2 for sure. |
dayokanu:paul scholes was a classic 8. What was Kanu and what was Okocha?kanu and okocha played together in a 4-4-2 formation? a 10 is a midfielder not a strikera 10 is a supporting striker in a 4-4-2 formation. stop mixing apple and oranges jare. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/8/8d/Formation_evolution.jpg/300px-Formation_evolution.jpg so the position number 10 occupies in that image is a midfield position? ![]() In England, in a now traditional 4-4-2 formation, the standard numbering is usually: 2 (right fullback), 5, 6, 3 (left fullback); 4 (defensive midfielder), 7 (right midfielder), 8 (central/attacking midfielder), 11 (left midfielder); 10 (second/support striker), 9 (striker). This came about based on the traditional 2-3-5 system. Where the 2 fullbacks retained the numbers 2, 3. Then of the halves, 4 was kept as the central defensive midfielder, while 5 and 6 were moved backward to be in the central of defence. 7 and 11 stayed as the wide attacking players, whilst 8 dropped back a little from inside forward to a central (sometimes attacking) midfield role, and 10 stayed in support of the striker. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squad_number_(association_football) |

Idowuogbo:name your price. i have a £2000 voucher of selfridges(as a starter). ![]() |
dayokanu:you keep making the same mistake even after showing you a diagram. number 8 and number 4 are central midfielders. 4 = anchor(makelele), 8 is the offensive midfielder(lampard). 9 is the centre forward, 10 = supporting striker. so you are saying one of andy cole and dwight yorke is 8? cheiiiii, dayokanu? in 2011? this is a disgrace! |
freecocoa:i didn't call you freepooshie. read with your glasses. Idowuogbo:there's no bingo bingo here. the dealings between a man and a woman is hazy. no one knows tomorrow. ![]() |
dayokanu:the article said it's common for the number 10 to play off the main striker but this isn't always the case. i can list some strike partnerships where there's no clear number 10. they take positions as the play dictates it. just like roy keane/scholes. which of them is defensive or attacking? see this list and tell me who is 10 or 9. dwight yorke/andy cole. shevchenko/rebrov stoichkov/romario rooney/tevez romario/fat ronaldo van basten/papin yekini/siasia yekini/amokachie. |
Idowuogbo:there's never been a clean dealing between a man and a woman. ![]() |
