the fact that there's somebody out there willing to pay more than the retail price means apple phones have the appeal that other phones don't just have.

how come people don't sell samsung phones for the profit? why would i want to put that plastic shyte in my pocket in the first place? by all evidence, iphone is for the rich, android phones are for the poor. if a phone is so expensive & yet it keeps beating sales record then there's something you are missing.

That is laughable. Those tied to network are based on licenses to network providers and not usually going to purchased theirs at the same pre-ordered prices ordering them from online. Keep making it look as if good number of those iPhones are not pre-purchases made in Apple and affiliate websites, which many of them were down in many countries during the rush. Apple gullible users will never see that as semantic notion.

there's no profit to be made here.....
majority are going to walk away with a brand new iphone 6 without having to pay any deposit sef as long as the credit score is good. no one really buys these phones outrightly like nigerians. it's mostly on contract!

i think the option to upgrade on the pre-existing contract is available. all you just have to do is to speed up what's left to pay on your old contract & you should get a new phone free of charge & you get to keep the old phone. O2 does that in the UK.

it's backward reasoning. only about 2% of apple fans buy the phone outrightly. they are tied to the networks on a 2-year contract. it does not worth anyone's while to buy & sell....there's no profit to be made. who would be so stüpid to cough out extra 100 quid for what he can get from his service provider free of charge(no deposit)?

the people preordering are doing so to be the first to own it amongst their peers & show off with it.

against the tough teams, we need gorillas like jones & smalling. they may not be too good with ball at their feet but they compensate for it with being able to compete with lukaku, costa, dzeko, balotelli, etc in the air & dominate! senderos literally räped balotelli on saturday - he frustrated him completely till balotelli was subbed.

shaw & rafael would provide the added width. di maria has the license to roam from that position & take up any position he wants. we have 3 in the midfield with the hassling ability of rafael & shaw buzzing around the oppoonents. it's a formation that can work very well. daley blind will take pressure off our zombie defenders who aren't comfy in possession.

i think we have everton at OT before we face chelsea. 4-4-2 would be the default in the other 3 games against the smaller teams but that everton/chelsea game might change in terms of tactical formation. chelsea/everton would crowd out our 4-4-2 formation....that's mourinho's way.

And as you just acknowledged we don't have the personnel at the back to play it. Those guys at the back are not comfortable on the ball enough for the 3-5-2.

we didn't have the personnel cos we had zombies like evans, valencia, fletcher, jones stinking up the place....rafael alone gives us 40% penetration. i think LVG should buy fabio back......rafael needs a back up & the twin brother is the only one that is cheap & won't throw tantrums for being on the bench...

none of smalling or valencia has 1/10th of rafael's IQ. jones is too clumsy to play that role too. if rafael gets injured, we would revert back to the laboured performance we have seen earlier in the season. there's nothing wrong with the system, it's just that we have too many players in that defence that loves to hide.

We now have the personnel to play 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 and these 2 formations give us both CONTROL in midfield(in advanced areas rather than 3-5-2 where most of our control is deep in our half) and PENETRATION.

4-4-2 will easily be exposed if we meet a team with a solid 4-2-3-1 like chelsea or city(when they mean business). their 5-man midfield would swallow our middle 4 and once they get control of the midfield, we are toast! evans scares me & it seems jones/smalling cannot go through a season without picking an injury.

There was something wrong with FT at Chelsea, whether confidence or what not anyone can pin it on anything. FT got all the chances he needed in Chelsea and somehow he remained unconvincing.

chelsea just didn't have a world class midfielder in the mould of cesc to really bring the best out of nando. without cesc, costa would be on 2 goals(at most) - the others just don't have cesc's vision or the required weight of pass...

afrodoc2: Blind understands that role so well in terms of positioning,continuity of play,angled passing e.t.c Just like Carrick but he does things quicker than Carrick.
My concern with Blind is his strength and body balance.He looks a bit lightweight and was shrugged off easily a few times.

i am sure the physios would be working on that in the coming weeks. the PL is a physical league, players in that position have to be physically immense....

I guess Blind will carry out his duties more by interceptions and positioning.
However we still need one more DM in January,preferably a physical type.

daley blind - 107/112 passes, 96% pass accuracy. he held that midfield today in a silent manner....but very very impressive!

he used to look up - that was why he got promoted in the first place. lately, i have noticed he's now only concerned about scoring, not creating.

impressive performance from the players - we have climbed to 9th now, win the other easy 4 games and we would be 2nd or 3rd. i am very happy rafael got minutes under his belt. if he plays, we are 30% better.

evans needs to be loaned out to arsenal for a month. jones sef na accident waiting to happen. he sees every 50-50 ball as a war zone & that's why he gets injured a lot. jones should borrow composure from blackett.

honestly, he's been the star of the show. i hope van gaal supports him till the very end. he has been the most composed defender throughout this campaign at such a young age.

rooney has been very good too....less diagonal balls. rafael has added bite....daley blind is controlling the midfield like a don. herrera is a diamond in the dirt. it has not been flawless but with time, this team will get into the top 4 easily.
