So why blame her for handling her issues the best way she knows how? What is wicked about that? When their pastor has messed up badly, to avoid such a situation they owe her to do anything she wants to rehabilitate her, and even send the pastor away to protect her belief in her faith. Yes, they did owe her quite a lot as a church who try to preach the word of God. The church represents the word of God and his word changes not. Coogar back off grin grin grin. But truly though babyosisi, me i have seen people manipulated. And Nigerians do put people on a pedestal where they absolutely do not have any business being on.
she's a pretentious slut with a mission to ruin the pastor's family & smear the pastor's reputation. she took the case to pastor flo. he mediated the case for them and she was told the pastor confessed his sins and he has repented...

babyosisi: If you read through my posts and responses on Nairaland,I am usually being accused of being anti men and pro women
If this was a child or ra.pe,I would be 100% on the other side
So you are not describing my views well
I discuss topics based on the circumstances around that topic not on pre conceived notion

Women are drawn to men in authority
That is a fact
Does not make those men SE,xual predators when the women date them or sleep with them willingly

Call it what you may this is blackmail
You don't destroy others in the guise of freeing your conscience
That is wickedness
may God bless you....

if a woman willingly sleeps with me solely because i drive a range rover sport, baby_123 would say i used my rangerover to manipulate her thus i am a predator.
Babyosisi, be careful as a woman how you judge other people. Because if future someone may come to you for help to rescue them from such a situation and you will blame them. Please, never underestimate the power some people can have over others. Truly this reminds me of when some girls will come out and say they were raped or abused and people will say they deserved it for wearing short skirts. The moral abuse of the pastor here far outweighs the relationship they had. It is also clear there that she said he wanted to continue but she stopped the relationship. I guess after he left London her eye began to clear as to what happened between them. It is very easy to get caught in the moment. Truly doing something like that with someone who is supposed to represent the teachings of Jesus here on earth, is hard to come to terms with when the lady will sit down and think about her actions. It is totally different from having affairs with an ordinary man. The weight of such an affair cannot be imagined. However she decided to let go of her conscience is her choice. I dont think she ever blackmailed the guy, she just freed her conscience. If he didnt dip his hand in the cookie jar and present himself for what he is not in the eyes of the church and the public, we will not be discussing this today. This is not his first time by the way. He only just got exposed. His church members had been sweeping this issue under the carpet.
baby-123, what are you on about?
how can you compare this to ladies who get räped for wearing miniskirt? do the ladies go back to their attackers for 7 days and sleep with them? the pastor never used any violence according to ese - how's this räpe or sëxual abuse?

even ese wrote in her 2nd missive she wasn't abused sëxually.
Coogar, am sure you know better than what you are typing. The fact of the matter is, this pastor is well aware of his power and influence over his sheep. They have been well sweetened and fattened in that PCU for the slaughter. Dont for one second think his choice of women in that PCU is a mistake. A predator can pick out and identify the weak in a crowd of millions for whatever acts he wants to perform. She had sex with him, but at what pricehuh This does not take away the pastors responsibility.
except that ese had left them for 2 years and was living in the UK before this incident happened. so how was ese sweetened & fattened while she's in the UK? was the pastor contacting her spiritually? no matter how you look at it, ese wanted sex, she got what she wanted and resorted to cheap blackmail after pastor biodun moved on....

Th eway you guys are trying to spin it like he is just a gala seller will not work. It all has to be taken in as a whole. The pastor has a certain position in the church. In fact he is the owner of the church. Some people have pictures of their pastors in their houses rather than a picture of Jesus. Enough of blaming the women in Nigeria. The pastor took advantage of who she was and his position. He manipulated her into having sex, using his position and christian talk to get into her pants. She has blown the whistle and i am glad. No matter how you will like to paint it, if you apply for a job with already preconceived expectations you dont go there and do the opposite. Then come back and try to say after all you are only a man. I wonder who will take that as an excuse from you.
i repeat, ese had left the church for the UK for almost 2 years before this incident happen. no matter the kind of influence the pastor could have had on her, it would have faded after 6 months, let alone 2 years....

ese was not manipulated - the opportunity to fück the pastor availed itself in the UK and she took the chance with aplomb! what would ese have lost if she had walked out on the pastor in that hotel?
The man farking the lady is the pastor. The lady committed suicide after it came out. Most people will do anything a pastor says. How do you explain the sudden wealth of most of those pastors? When you have money and power, you can get away with quite a lot. When you sweeten your every word with religion, in a highly religious country like Nigeria. Murder is the least of the things you can get away with. The thing is a pastor is expected to behave a certain way. Whom much is given, much is expected.
that's so untrue!
the man screwing the lady wasn't the pastor - someone else was dictating what to say. you could hear "make you dey do am o, power, enter, close your eyes o" from a voice of a man who wasn't in the video....someone was calling the shots and the couple having sëx were repeating after him.
You have a choice to make your comments without insult. Because you have not been in such a position doesnt mean you should come and start inferring all sorts. The fact of the matter is if the pastor did not put himself in such a situation, he will not be where he is today. And this is not the 1-10th occurence. I put up another example of a full grown lady who believed having sex with a pastor will make her pregnant too. Hey, the child is 14 or 15, she was abused. But wasnt she also manipulated into doing what she didhuh
how do you know the man fücking the woman in the video is a priest? because the tag said so? come on, enough of the conjectures. that video could have been a married couple asked to havë sex for the fruit of the womb. the person directing them to say "power & enter" wasn't the one having sëx with the woman.
Majority of the victims were people's wives and mothers. i knew them like this. But out of the small small money the priest will give them, they will not talk. They will even fight the smaller girls for wearing short skirt to seduce the priest and take their position. This is why i am solidly behind anyone who can come and expose the frauds in the churches. The wolves in sheeps clothing.
they are not victims - they were as culpable as the spiritual leaders they had sëx with & this is why most of them cannot even speak cos they know they are guilty.

in ese's case, she's as guilty as the pastor and she's still claiming she was manipulated. what sort of manipulation is that? men should be scared then if women are so gullible to open their legs and screw any man that can ask them to kiss & sit on their lap.

Then you believe for one second that a woman with full mental capabilities will sleep with a pastor solely for spiritual reasons?
She could neither the Bible herself nor decipher that adultery and fornication were wrong from the same Bible?
Kai
Now I realize why prophet Mohammed said women were deficient in intelligence ( I disagree with him btw)
There are women who agree with him obviously
her second example is funny....
how do we know for sure it's a pastor screwing another woman? couldn't he have been her husband or partner asked to have sex under a spiritual guidance? the person that uploaded the video could have tagged it wrongly to drive traffic. if he's a pastor - which church is he pastoring?
Family › Re: The Fatoyinbo Dilemma, Your Thoughts..... by coogar: 6:42pm On Aug 29, 2013
Kai, you guys can dissect, analyze and pick apart any argument. tongue

I dont think anyone is arguing that Ese is innocent. But trying to make her look like the villain here is wrong. The house of God should not be defiled. I think what pushed her was seeing pastor preaching like a saint in church after their 7day hot and sexy romp. Now, that really puts to question when one is already on a shaky foundation as regards to Christianity, if these pastors know something we dont. He took advantage of her period. I am a catholic, and i know priests who have done such things. Though most of the victims are young girls. But once one was exposed by a youngster he was sent away and subsequently dismissed, which i fully support. I guess my father's station in the church may have saved me. But many fell into the hands of these beasts. It is easy to fall because these men are representatives of the gospel in the church. For a fickle mind who rely's on pastor says for everything, if pastor says it is okay to romp for 7days they will do it with no qualms. Because they have never opened a bible to read or ever been to a church where salvation is emphasized. Rather, they only go by what pastor says. Truly these pastors and priest are quite manipulative.
except that the victims of these catholic priests are young boys and girls below 16. ese walters is an adult - please compare like for like. if ese had said her drink was spiked by the pastor then we would know whose shoulder to put the blame on.

ileobatojo: Only a mentally handicapped person can be manipulated?
only a mentally handicapped woman could have been manipulated the way ese spread her legs for a pastor that also happened to be a married man - she went back there for 6 consecutive days as well, how's that manipulation?
Family › Re: The Fatoyinbo Dilemma, Your Thoughts..... by coogar: 6:36pm On Aug 29, 2013
ileobatojo: First of all, I did no such thing.

Second, grown women are not a homogenous group of robots who respond to all situations the exact same way.
ileoba you should face-palm.
it's either ese wanted sëx or not - those are the only scenarios that can play in that hotel room. if she wanted sex, why is she claiming manipulation, wrong doing and abuse?

babyosisi: You make grown women look like this dumb, stupeed and brainless creatures that could be manipulated to do virtually anything .
Beings with no will or intellect if their own
Subject to the manipulations and devices of any man.

Why should the men trust that you have ample commonsense to do what ought to be done

The issue here is the lead up to the first encounter(pre-plannedmasterminded and set up to a T by a seasoned sex*ual predator) the manipulative words used to contain her,the serial predatory behavior of the pastor and their dismissiveness of her as she sought peace afterwards.
even the lead up to the first encounter wouldn't deceive a 15-year-old unbeliever. "come & sit on my lap, kiss me" - what's the ingenuity about these cheap lines? had efe walked out on the pastor, what exactly would she have lost?

StarBoard: I'm thinking that qualification from group stages shouldn't be enough as it is to ensure being seeded. The other teams you listed have won it once in the last 5 years and appeared in multiple finals within that period. Arsenal have only managed one semi-final appearance within that time.
each CL win or draw carries the same points. arsenal playing in the last 15 CL competitions mean they have played more CL games than bayern/ barcelona within that same period. yes, the others have won it but they get zero points for the seasons they failed to qualify whereas arsenal gets points in the seasons they didn't win the competition.

I thought seedings/co-efficients and all that stuff were based on recent performances.
Besides, I'm not so sure Arsenal would make it if the teams representing each country were reduced to three. I'm checking the last time Arsenal finished above any of the above as my reasomn for saying that.
Just my two cents anyway.
because wenger is the master of managing resources. he does the basics by doing the least of what is required to qualify - finishing 4th. if the bar is raised, wenger would raise his effort too.

ileobatojo: Again, I'm looking for the words 'sexual abuse' and I'm still not finding them.
so tell us, our great witchdoctor, how was ese "abused"? if it's not sex abuse, what form of abuse? adult abuse or wait for it.........spiritual abuse?

How about the second letter she wrote that has been posted on NL where she explicitly stated that she was not sexually abused?
that's exactly what we are trying to make you realise - her story was not consistent. how can she say she's been abused in her previous churches and then come back to say she's never been abused?

how exactly is pastor biodun dangerous to the other young women in the church if she did not sëxually abuse ese? can you not see this woman needs to be put in a strait-jacket in a padded room?
Family › Re: The Fatoyinbo Dilemma, Your Thoughts..... by coogar: 4:52pm On Aug 29, 2013
ileobatojo: No. She did not. She clarified that herself.
then you didn't read her story! here's an excerpt...

I realized the right thing to do was talk to an elder in the church and seek some sort of remedy to a wrong I believed had been done me. Instead, Pastor Flo said, Pastor Biodun had confessed to him and they had ‘talked’ about it and somehow that was supposed to be Ok.

He asked what it was I wanted coming to talk to him about it when I did, I told him I realized what happened between Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo and I was wrong and not just that I felt abused and manipulated. I also said I thought it was wrong for Pastor Biodun to go on preaching without taking time to deal with his personal character flaws.

I said I thought he was danger to all the young women that attended the church. Come to think of it, maybe he meant if I wanted something monetary or material (as someone had suggested when I opened up to her) but the truth is, I never wanted his money (or is it the church member’s money.) All I wanted was to meet with him and have him accept that he misled me, betrayed his wife and the church he pastors.

I wasn’t the only lady in COZA who had been a victim of his sexcapades and manipulative patterns but I was the one who could come back after months of struggle with not just my faith but also my affair with him. And I wanted to set things right.
misled, abused, manipulated, etc - how exactly has ese taken any responsibility for her own actions in this matter? this is why she should never be taken serious.

ileobatojo: *And before some dunce comes to say I am comparing sex to looting or murdering or Molesting, I am not. I'm talking about the concept of accountability to the people that your actions affect.*

stillwater: I believe most of us are Christians here, if you are not well, have a kiss kiss . The bible is quite clear on sex outside marriage. It's not about if it's consensual or not. It's not about if Ese was stu..pid enough to fall. That is for the secular courts to deliberate on. I believe these are mere side attractions to the main issue that the Christian faith is against. A pastor has been accused of committing adultery, one of the things you shouldn't do in the Ten Commandments. What Christians should be concerned about is if he did it or not and not if it's consensual or not. That is what concerns people like me. And if he calls himself a good Christian he will not lie.
a pastor has been accused of adultery? was ese an idol worshipper when she carried her legs into a man's arms? isn't she a church worker? do different laws and ethics apply to pastors & their workers? aren't both of them born again christians that would be judged the same?

did ese not know the man was married? is she too mentally retardëd to know meeting a man alone in a hotel room comes with a risk? did ese's bible not teach her kissing a married man is a big sin? is ese a prepubescent girl who cannot differentiate what is right from what is wrong?

In my case I was able to say NO because he was a Priest, not sure how I would have reacted if he was just a Pastor. Priests are celebate and at that point, I thought I was better off taking my chances out cold in the middle of the night than sleeping with a Priest. That to me was a permanent condemnation for life, a sin I wasn't ready to risk confessing to another preist!

What got me in that position in the first place? TRUST! That trust was betrayed both by my Priest and by the COZA pastor and even though I didn't give in, I still feeel like a victim. I had a terrible experience that night, one I wish I could be as bold as Ese to tell!

debosky: ^^ Y'all have rigged the UCL draw, so you'll get Plzen, Marseille and Vienna.
heard people were beefing how arsenal are still a top seed without winning? the group stage of the UCL should be scrapped. it's a bloody waste of time. we already know the teams that are likely to stroll it without stress.

there are rumours they even want to scrap europa league and make CL bigger with 64 teams in the group stage. 5-8 teams can qualify from the premier league or so - no wonder wenger can't be bothered about signing marquee players.

liloelawwal: I met a married woman on one of the social networking sites.we became very close in a very short time.she even tease me at times that she loves me.
We chat almost daily and talk on phone at times, she trust me so much and keeps no secret from me.But she doesnt know how disappointed i was when she told me she has two boy friends both of which are even married.while i was even trying to digest that she( just last week)revealed to me that she has another guy whom has traveled out but to be back next month.
I am so so disapointed in her,i tried to avoid her but she came back beging.i just put my self in the shoes of the loving and caring hubby.
Thuogh we are hundreds of miles away,i like her but her pity her hubby cos am a man too
why are you disappointed in her? if your partner is investigated too, my £5 says she's also got about 3-4 boyfriends in some obscure parts of nigeria. what are you doing chatting up a married woman anyways if you are not an idle-minded van driver?
