Shollypopz: But there's one of you on your profiledon't distort the facts - the silverback in my profile is your boyfriend. i get paid everyday for advertising him on my profile. |
Shollypopz: Don't be shy....we won't make fun of uhehe.....i don't do pictures! |
Coogar, Since shymmex over there is playing shy/modest, could we see your Peckham pictures? Both the kitchen and backyard. If you share it with 9 other "pals", don't worry. I got your back
no! |
Katsumoto: Shymexx,i like your thought process...... however, you would be disappointed if you are expecting thong/g-string. shollypoppa is 45....she wears boxers. ![]() |
Katsumoto: You obviously haven't been to London before or you don't know anyone in London.don't mind him..... majority of these visitors stay in the outskirts or the suburbs and then use their ugly experience to generalise. person wey go blackpool for 2 months would claim london is boring. ![]() |
tellwisdom: Whatsup with these houses amounting this much??-feed methe demand outweighs the supply..... |
tellwisdom: £400k??you don't know what you are talking about go to zoopla and check the value of houses in peckham! you would pay through your nose to own those old ugly houses. https://images.zoopla.co.uk/8dde7c207c703aff3ff1519bc19a562cf5ee166d_354_255.jpg this old ugly 3-bedroom house in peckham is valued at £730,000. you would buy the White House with that amount in washington! |
Shollypopz: Hmmm.....throwing subliminal shots, are you?are you 45? ![]() Shollypopz: If Shymmexx posts a pic of his closet, I would post a pic of my pata. Don't hope sis, shymexx lie fit wake dead bodyplease don't - i don't want to die of conjunctivitis! |
dayokanu: Why would I live in a place I cant even get a parking Spot, I have to take the train or cabs because of traffics, that's the odd thing with london the rich use the public transport, the poor folks drive cars. the city is quite small too - with 30/45 mins, you can reach one end of london to another via the tube. I cant even live in NY. too expensive and How would you even raise a family living in Condos and high rise apartmentsthe environment plays a role here - you won't find people loitering around in these places. everyone is locked indoors. |
Shollypopz: Hater! Why are u lying? Right beside u is a branch of my Shollypop's pomo and shaki depot. #respect that!i refuse to believe that... the only pomo store here is owned by mama abigail and she's 45.... |
dayokanu: Its rubbish anyway you look at it for way less you can buy a mansion in Highland Park Dallas or Southlake TX and have Mark Cuban, George Bush, Jerry Jones and Ross Perot as your neighbourall these places are countrysides.... london is the city......just like newyork, tokyo, paris, hong-kong! jennykadry: That yard is the most important part. A Zimbabwean female doctor who is a single parent was here on holiday. I met them when I visited a Zimbabwean friend of mine, whose house they were staying. You should have seen the way, this woman's son was running around in the yard, he felt like one prisoner that just got released from kirikiri and was checking if his little legs were still functioning alright, he turned to his mom and said "I dnt want to go back to London". Poor boypoor boy! the longest he's run until then is from his bedroom to his living room which is about 6 paces. space is a huge problem unless you stay in the suburbs like kent, essex, milton keynes. |
Shollypopz: Most of them are jobless naw, I can bet my a*as coogar has ewedu store in peckhamyou forgot to include egusi and okra stores..... i am an entrepreneur but you are still a trust fund baby! tellwisdom: Dude, how do you survive living in a very dirty environment of this type??..the houses looks more like a rumbled sheet of paper thrown in the bin. Damn!you are clueless - the cheapest house on that street is not less than £400,000 it's just that they are old victorian houses but their value remains high. |
shymexx: They moved them to the new flats... There are loads of South Americans there now as well..hit me up this summer if there's a party in downtown peckham! we can invite shollypoppa n itsmodella and show them how it's done in peckham...... chucky234: LWKMD @heaven or hellyou sef - comparing peckham to lagos.... there's nothing you won't find in peckham - they have all the basic amenities that you won't find in most places even in abuja. people just diss peckham because of the nigerianess of the place. yoruba is the official language there and it's not unusual to find a white chic eating pounded yam and egusi there with a bottle of guinness! ![]() |
shymexx: They have demolished everything... They have even started knocking down Aylesbury estate as well...dang it! where did they move all the mandems of the great aylesbury estate? this is like the fall of an empire.
You see, u ended up buttressing my argument. How many US schools are in the top 10 and how many UK schools are also in the top 10? Check the result urself son. U must be daft to compare the two countries. Go check the list of scientists that have won the Nobel price in the past, and you will find out that 90% of them are American universities professors. Check and report back to me as usual boy!
uk schools are as good if not better than american schools. it's not only what is in those schools, it's what students can get out of there. i graduated from university of manchester(the school has produced 25 nobel laureates) including john dalton....founder of the atomic theory. |
Scopic01: Pls tell moi which Other tv series HOB did...pls.HOB or HBO? i can give you 20....the best for me are rome, oz, the sopranos! |
shymexx: This is Peckham:peckham don fine o...... jeez, what happened to the old council flats? i am proud of your MP. he's done well to rebrand peckham. if he can knock down that market then peckham would have ridden itself off the bad elements smearing the reputation of that great place. |
shymexx: Seriously, do you know any nyggah that pays TV license??i pay TV license...... |
2legit2qwt: They have something like that in Nigeria i think, well i read about it on NL.the TV license funds BBC. BBC unlike most channels don't do commercials - it's an attractive feature though! you can never see a commercial ad on BBC so they take money from the viewers to fund the TV station. all TV owners must pay this license - even black-n-white TVs(their fee is less though). adaobi123: I rarely go Peckham, so I wouldnt know. Deptford is quite similar, no ?deptford? smelly area some folks took me there once to eat naija food - i couldn't believe the filth. deptford is the oshodi of london. it's far worse than peckham! |
adaobi123: Shymexx's endsbut things are quite expensive in peckham! peckham would be the equivalent of ikoyi/obalende in lagos. i am not even sure the people that cause nuisance there actually stay there - they just own naija shops in the area. |
chucky234: What happen to the word "PRIVACY" in that freaking countryprivacy for bills? please don't make me laugh. i went to nigeria for two months sometime in 2010 - by the time i got back, i couldn't open my main door because of letters. 90% of them were bills! |
chucky234: Queen and her creepy agents crippling my people in the name of tax,na Ghana-must-go bags she want make una take come back to Naija ni.loads of people evade the TV license though but then you have to lie all the time. you have to coach kids not to open the door for strangers and there's always one day the creepy people would get in and make you pay. if you refuse then the matter goes to court and one's credit report can be ruined! jennykadry: @shymmexper calendar month..... as in, they calculate it till the last second of the month. £100 per week should be £400 per month, right? nah - not in london.....it's £433 per month! |
shymexx:likewise..... i don't think i can function anywhere else - it's the good, the bad and the ugly all rolled in one. jennykadry: Seriously though, how much is rent for a 3 bedroom house/ appartment?it depends on the area.....where do you want to stay? if it's the capital then the least you can get is around £1000 per month! |
2legit2qwt: and Cooger and Shymex are telling us how great that life is, paying to watch TV other than the cable itselfit's fun.... you are always on your toes - |
gbollykore: The purpose of money is to afford the good things of life, we work to get money to provide for our needs, money is not meant to be storedexcellent post! this is why i stopped complaining too - the people that complain do because of the nigerianess in us. all these bills and taxes are what runs the country efficiently. if i dial 999 now, cops would show up in the next 5 mins. if i break my pelvic bone, ambulance would be here within minutes and i would get free treatment. jennykadry: Won't you relocate ni? Even my denzel2009 is looking at relocatingaustralia is too far and i heard their racism is top class. tv license is £135 a year or so. i pay it annually so i don't get to meet creepy people in my doorstep. these people act like ghosts - they take a device that would determine if you own a TV or not so you cannot escape them! ![]() |
jennykadry: Fck me, TV Licencei swear! you would pay TV license - you must pay it! people get criminal records for not paying it. after paying for your TV and subscribing to a cable company, the QUEEN still takes her TV license from you. |
shymexx: That's what most people don't understand about Londoners - we basically pay for everything, including oxygen...what about TV license? the moment you buy your brand new TV, the store sends your details to the government and someone creepy is at your doorstep the next day asking you to pay TV license. the country is designed to collect wages and return back to the Queen. |
shymexx: These people don't even know how expensive London is...this is why people complain londoners are stingy..... nah, they are not stingy - it's just that they pay too much for littlest of things! davidylan: that is not luxury. That is suffering.well - there are certain things to consider.... environment, the calibre of neighbours you would have, the calibre of the people your children would mix it and blah blah blah. besides, it depends on the job you have. some contractors rake in £10,000 per day and then you have the city traders(wayne rooney/ronaldo/messi have nothing on these ones)! |
payless: There are apartments in New York that cost $15,000 and above per month. Ariana Huffington pays $36,000 mothly on three bedroom apartment in New York.£10,000 per week is £43,333 per month = $70,000 in america. and these apartments have no back garden or even a garage. your kids are not allowed ball games and they don't get to run in the yard at all. forget it, america is child's play to london! |
davidylan: I beg to differ coogar. The above has been peddled for so long that we now take it for gospel truth. You should try living in NYC, DC or even LA. Another point... you really dont have to live in a cripplingly expensive city if you cant honestly afford it. Its just plain silly... move to a cheaper spot and save money. Nigerians love the ego boost of being able to say they live in London. then come here and whine about cost of living.london is more expensive than anywhere in america - it's not even close! however, americans at least get the value of the amount they spend, londoners are not even close into getting that. how can you pay £4000 per month on a small flat and not have a parking space? your kitchen is bigger than the living room of most houses in london. there's no space at all - most people park on the streets and sometimes you pay for those! |
davidylan: This is flatly untrue. I suppose that is what you all say to make yourselves feel better. It costs $4000/month to rent condos in NYC so keep quiet about your 1bdr house. We may not pay as much tax as you do... but we have to fork out money out of pocket to pay for health services you get on the taxes you pay so what's new?$4000? the equivalent of £2200? most people pay more than that for a one tiny match-box flat. it's only on this island you would see flats that go for as high as £8000 or £10,000 per week. |
davidylan: lol you can barely afford a 1Bdr house and you're shinning teeth?1 bedroom house in london = 6 bedroom mansion in most places in america. trust me, the cost of living where shymmex stays is crippling. the rent is way higher than the value you get, trust me. |
Shollypopz: Shut up!go to bed, home economist! what do you know about bills? you are a trust fund baby!!! payless: What? Where in U.S exactly? How can some determine if U.s is good or not if you haven't lived there for at least a year? My cousin attended University of Bradford and attended Rutgers University in New Jersey for his Master in Accounting. He just got his work permit last month and thanking God for the opportunity. He said U.S is 15 times better that U.K. he his coming next month to look for job.i have been to the continental US more than a dozen times and nah - it's too lawless to be considered. health is not free. health is wealth for me. your cousin studied in university of bradford. it's the equivalent of studying in university of maiduguri in comparison to someone who studied in OAU or UNILAG. if you don't stay in the heart of the capital, you are not enjoying in the UK. |
