It is statements like the one highlighted in red that reduce my respect for some ladies!! Correct yourself and say "Nigerian Ladies". What is so special about church wedding??
you have to respect yourself first before you can respect any lady. the only reason you reduce your respect for some ladies is because your self-respect is nothing to write home about.

@OP, I get no advice for ya, let me go and make sure my woman is not trying the same antics to get a church wedding, because I don't like show offs.
don't put a woman in the family way if you are not ready to take her to church......unless that's the agreement from the onset.

Baridon1122: I did both my Traditional and Registry marriage early last year. I had to go for the registry wedding as I had no time to plan for the Church wedding and also wanted the Marriage certificate for some documentations with regards to her NYSC. Along the line we saw the need to start a building project, which we started last month. We still believe there will be church wedding as we are both Catholics, but the magnitude of the ceremony is what we were still discussing.
Last weekend, she joyfully announced that she is pregnant. I was elated and thanked God. Now she wants us to do the wedding As soon as possible before people will notice. Her insistence got me angry!! As I type this, I am bitterly upset, because as much I know, we are fully married.

Is there anything wrong with pregnancy before church wedding? Or am I the one getting angry wrongly?
Is it the church wedding that confer on couple the right the get pregnant and bear children? Does the church/white wedding define a successful or blessed marriage as my spouse believes?
why should her insistence get you antsy?
are you angry because you cannot afford what she's asking for at the moment or you are angry at the church? what was the agreement between you two? why impregnate her when you knew you weren't ready for the church wedding? pregnancy changes the dynamics of any relationship. my advice: go and do the wedding - ladies live for the church wedding. suspend your housing project for now and do the white wedding.

Mazacar tend to drift inside too much meaning that the space Torres/Ba should naturally operate in gets choked....

Just a thought, but how about trying the 4-6-0 a la Spain at the Euros?

debosky: ^^ momentary superiority and nothing more - Arsenal is eternally superior to Bayern Munschit. cool
it's not even a momentary superiority, bayern munshit get help from their fa whilst english clubs playing in europe have had their souls traded by the english fa. bayern munshit had a month-long winter break whilst arsenal and the other english clubs kept playing almost twice a week in the blistering cold. english clubs are always at a disadvantage in the knock out stage of the champions league. the fatigue they bear cannot be ignored!

bayern have only played 34 games this week in all competitions, arsenal have played a whooping 41 games with their thin squad - why won't one side appear to be superior than the other? then again, the german fa allowed bayern to move their league game to friday before their trip to the emirates whilst arsenal had to play on a saturday because the english fa are more concerned about tv money than the progress of their clubs in elite europe.

until english clubs start observing the winter break and until english clubs start getting incentives to move games and allow ample time for english clubs to rest n prepare for epic european ties, the advantage would always lie with the continental teams. in the period bayern went on a winter break, arsenal played 7 different games in all competitions - only a lunatic would not see this as a disadvantage especially to a team like arsenal that has a thin squad!

dayokanu: When Arsenal were English Champions in 1998 did they qualify for knockout stages?

how is this analogous to mancini crashing out of the group stage twice in a row? are you a slowpoke? did wenger crash his team in the group stage twice in a row after spending close to a billion pounds to buy players? why are you so blind and idiotic to put 2 similar situations side by side? likening allardyce to wenger - what's the comparson?i

Mourinho is now the reason Benitez cant win games?

No one can tell us why RDM winning percentages are wayyy better than Rafa benitez
just like no one told us why di matteo lost to athletico madrid scandalously and crashed out in a relatively easy group in the champions league.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by coogar: 5:31pm On Feb 25, 2013
StarBoard: Monsieur debo,
True we can't say conclusively if RDM would have done better if left to continue.
But in the light of the current circumstances, I'm pretty sure he would have gotten better output from some of these players who just loafed all through the game yesterday.
the same di matteo lost to newcastle at stamford bridge last season. where's this myth coming from that di matteo is the dog's bollocks? didn't he lose to west brom before he was sacked as well?

The downward trend may have (and I stress the word "may" ) begun with RDM but he should have given the opportunity to try to steer the ship back to it's proper course.
he had that opportunity last season - chelsea could only finish 6th. then came this season and he was given the funds to buy oscar, hazard, etc. he impressed at the start of the season but then the performance level declined under his watch and he crashed chelsea out of the champions league(roman's most prized football competition).

Rafa Benitez has not done so. His results are so herky-jerky, you don't know which Chelsea side will show up for the next game. Benitez has this air of arrogance that really alienates himself from the fans. He has not bothered to wave the olive branch to the Stamford bridge faithful. He carries himself with this pompousity that I find strange given that he hasn't done anything of note since a flukey FA Cup win (on penalties as usual).
benitez will never be loved by chelsea fans. they booed him from the very first day because of the things he said about chelsea in the past. so forget winning over the fans. what's benitez meant to do? visit every fan privately to beg for their love? did benitez hire himself? if the chelsea faithful don't like him, why not stage a protest against their owner?

Now yesterday's performance was as soulless as anything can be.His selections and substitutions as well as his defiant attitude to sticking to 4-2-3-1 even when it isn't working makes me wonder why he was hired to replace last season's FA and Champions League winner (all in the space of four months,by the way).Especially since the club felt they needed someone to "improve"the club's performance.
the players chelsea bought in the last 18 months were brought in to fix into 4-2-3-1. benitez didn't start playing 4-2-3-1, it started under di matteo. villas-boas alternated the formation with 4-3-3 and it rarely worked when he kept playing mata as a winger. it's true that di matteo won the champions league n fa cup last season - it's also true he lost scandalously to athletico in the super cup and crashed chelsea out of the group stage of the champions league.

Now can you honestly say that that has been Chelsea's lot since he came on board? If no, then allow us to speculate and conjecture all we want.
We the fans will always point to the fact that Chelsea were 4 points off the lead when he took over and now he has manged to balloon the deficit to 19, almost five times the size it was when he took over. And that, my friend is as damning as it comes when the issue of whether RDM deserved to be sacked/replaced with Benitez or not comes up.
this is hilarious......
if another manager had taken over man city when united and city were neck and neck, we would be writing the same thing that the new manager is clueless and mancini would never have allowed united to be 12 points ahead. the league have been poor this season and it's not only in england, spain and germany are experiencing the same as well. would you ever believe jose mourinho's team can sit 16 odd points below a rival team in any league? benitez is not the reason chelsea are where they are - it's just what it is in the major leagues in europe.

bebrief: Can't you see that detective Botha is forced to admit he could not be certain of the contents. But at least he was certain of the label on the boxes. And how dumb is it of you to believe hook line and sinker the words of Pistorius's lawyer, who obviously will say anything to exonerate his client from a potentially damaging blow on his athletic career.
you are the one exhibiting dumbass qualities here. botha changed his story. the police have admitted their blunders. the story changed from botha claiming he found steroids in the apartment to botha claiming they were just empty boxes and couldn't tell what the contents were. pistorious' attorney claimed it was a herbal remedy which was not contested in court. the burden of proof lies with the prosecutors - they are still waiting for lab tests. how many days does it take to test a controlled substance? even in lagos(a 3rd world country), it takes about 30 seconds.......

Until proper tests is carried out on the substance, you are never sure of it's content, even your claim of herbal remedy is still unconfirmed. The only credible claim is what Botha read on the label of the boxes, and if the label is different from it's content, then so be it.
and until we are sure of what the content is pistorious is innocent! it's innocent until proven guilty, stop using your village mentality that he's guilty before he's proved innocent! you are arguing against logic!

And listen, I really don't care what the content of the boxes are, my concern is about the cold-blooded and cruel murder which he has committed.
Stop condoning evil my friend!
why bring it up if you didn't care? you are trying to imply pistorious was high on the night of the incident and he might have been under the influence of drugs which prompted the shooting and you are saying you don't care what the contents are - can you hear yourself? some of you lots shouldn't even be allowed to discuss the weather let alone, a sensitive case such as this one.......
Show me where I started the insults I will gladly apologise.

I am not basing my arguments on conjecture. I have brought forward valid facts to buttress all I have said. As those mistaken shootings you keep refering to FYI there are many more cases where the defender waited to correctly identify the intruder before opening fire so you can not base your argument on the fact that some other person did it. Standard practice is to maintain a defensive posture until you can correctly assess the threat. This includes moving away from the threat and shouting to warn. All these the judge and the police took into consideration. If the law you say I have no knowledge of considers this the correct procedure why do you turn around to insult?
you are beating about the bush......i brought out those examples of mistaken identities to tell you this had happened before and what pistorious did isn't the first time someone shot an intruder without asking who the intruder was. pistorious claimed to have been a victim of a home invasion by intruders - he claimed he has been receiving death threats lately so who are we to question his action under his own roof. he's a vulnerable man without his prostheses. using the gun to protect himself in that situation is a valid excuse. if an ex-cop(an officer of the law) can shoot his own son without asking, why should we expect anything less from pistorious?

Proving beyond reasonable doubt will be done in a competent court of law. What we are indulging in here is an exchange of views and opinions neither you nor I is involved in this case so your position is no more valid than mine and vice versa. Contrary position to yours does not make anyone stupid especially when we dealing with a case where the facts have been received second hand. From your point of view Pistorius makes sense but others do not see it that way. The validity of position will be tested in a court of law until then I think anyone is free to hold his own opinion.
then wait for the trial before you suggest pistorious is guilty!
until then, he's innocent - no matter how the story might look. i can't be bovvered about what others think because till now, it's based on their nollywood experience. factual evidence is what i go with and if the court cannot prove pistorious intentionally shot his girlfriend then he's not guilty of murder. the burden of proof is on the prosecution to prove he shot his girlfriend intentionally. let pistorious answer for the other offences of keeping a gun without license and manslaughter. premeditated murder? people should stop taking the piss!

bebrief: Listen up young man! The substance hasn't been tested to know what it truly is. We've only heard from Pistorius's lawyer who claims it is “coenzyme testocompasutium”, whereas Detective Warrant Officer Hilton Botha testified that he recovered two boxes of testosterone and needles in a search of Pistorius's home.

"Later, a spokesman for South Africa’s National Prosecution Agency told the Associated Press that it was too early to identify the substance, which was still being tested. ”It is not certain [what it is] until the forensics.” Medupe Simasiku said, adding that it wasn’t certain if it was “a legal or an illegal medication for now.”

Pls read your news properly!

However, this is not the issue at stake. This is a case of premeditated murder my friend!
shaking my head.....

Later, when questioned by Barry Roux for the defence, Botha was forced to admit he could not be certain of the contents of the boxes he found.

Roux said it was a "herbal remedy" called testo-compositum co-enzyme used by many athletes, insisting: "It is not a steroid and it is not a banned substance."

The state prosecutor's office later said there was an error in the detective's testimony when he identified the substance as testosterone. However, the substance is still undergoing laboratory tests.

bebrief: "A South African policeman testified on the second day of a bail hearing that testosterone and needles were found at the home of Oscar Pistorius, the double-amputee track star accused of killing his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day.

Detective Warrant Officer Hilton Botha testified that two boxes of testosterone and needles were recovered in a search of Pistorius's home in a gated community after Steenkamp was shot to death through the locked door of a bathroom."

http://m.washingtonpost.com/blogs/early-lead/wp/2013/02/20/oscar-pistorius-police-say-testosterone-needles-were-found/

The issue is actually about one Oscar Pisterious who murdered his girlfriend in cold blood on the early hours of Valentine's day, by shooting her four times in the bathroom.

bebrief: South Africa: Oscar Pistorius uses testosterone to boost his libido

The testosterone found in the home of Oscar Pistorius is actually incentives for better performance in bed, revealed Dr Jon Patricios, Sports doctor.

The product called “coenzyme testocompasutium” is herbal, as has confided the lawyer of the athlete.

According to Dr Patricios, this product is commonly used to fight against the signs of sexual energy, but athletes are cautioned not to use it because it can also increase their testosterone levels. “It is not an anabolic steroid, and it is likely that it causes irrational anger,” said Patricios. A urine sample of Pistorius is also under a laboratory test in Bloemfontein.

Pistorius is accused of murdering his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. His trial is scheduled to begin in June.

And if you think he was so terrified, what brings him 1.5m to the bathroom door? Why couldn't he flee or go in hiding if he thinks someone was in the bathroom, rather than going to confront a potentially armed intruderhuh

The fact that an incompetent prosecution is still unable to put up a good investigation and argument to nail him does not make him any less guilty, whereas the trial is yet to commence.

It's either you are telling me you're so gullible to be fooled by some cock and bull Pisterious story, or you're simply out of touch with reality. A NIGERIAN’S OPEN LETTER TO OSCAR PISTORIUS.

Okay, Mr Oscar Pistorius, let me get this straight-you were aware that Reeva Steenkamp was staying at your house that night, right? And from the look of things, you both slept on the same bed.

So, a strange sound wakes you up deep into the night, and what would a ‘vulnerable’ person do in that scenario? If Reeva was indeed sleeping next to you, you’d tap her gently, she wakes and you ask her-"Did you hear that sound? It’s coming from the bathroom." And Reeva would have said, "Oh my God, it could be a burglar, call the police" or "Bring your gun, let’s go check it out." But no, that didn't happen Mr Oscar, you didn’t first check to know where your girlfriend was. You simply picked up your gun and headed straight to where the ‘strange noise’ was coming from-your bathroom.

I don't know the level of sophistication or stupidity of South African burglars and intruders, but in Nigeria, burglars or intruders don’t enter your house just to use the bathroom, like seriously?

I understand Mr Oscar that you live in one of those highbrow neighborhoods in Pretoria-South Africa, a fortified housing estate with armed private security guards and all-a burglar/intruder beats all this and heads straight to your bathroom? By the way, what was the ‘strange noise’ that got your attention? Was it the sound of footsteps, or the loud farts emanating from your bathroom as the ‘intruder’ did his/her thing?

For argument sake let’s agree that you truly thought she was a burglar/intruder hiding in your bathroom. So Oscar, you come out with your gun pointed towards the bathroom door, you still don’t know where Reeva is. You were not worried if this ‘intruder’ had Molested or murdered your girlfriend or if she was being held hostage right there in the bathroom.

A normal gun owner in that situation would probably have asked, "Who's there? Reeva, is that you?" but NO...our ‘blade runner’ closed his eyes and opened fire, three or four times hitting his target spot on. I also want to believe that as soon as the first shot was fired Oscar, you could have heard a female voice scream from inside the bathroom, but unfortunately, our ‘blade runner’ is apparently deaf too. Three bullets hit Reeva and she dies eventually.

Dear Oscar Pistorius, you are very lucky that you are from South Africa, a nation with a police force that can murder about 30 poor miners on live TV but still defend itself and charge the survivors for murder.

The Nigerian police probably have worse records but believe me, if you had committed this type of crime in Naija and gave us this 'I thought she was an intruder' story? ***I laff in Naija accent***** by the time our Police men shove one of your prosthetic legs up your A$$, you will not realize when you start spilling out the whole truth on what actually transpired that night.

For now, you have been granted bail until June, you now have more time to improve on your story. The South African police also now have more time to further scuttle this murder case and probably look for an ex-Police officer on death-row to come lead this investigation.

It does look like several ‘powerful’ elements in South Africa (and the sports branding world) want you to become a free man. You are one of those international-inspirational icons that make the ‘rainbow’ nation look good. Mandela is already too old and expiring. Another thing you've got on your side is that you are not a fire-brand critic of President Jacob Zuma or the ANC and so they may let you off the hook.

Trust me, if Julius Malema's wife or girlfriend was mysteriously shot and killed in a town 100 kilometres away from Julius' house, he (Julius) would still be arrested and charged for her murder...they'll probably find him guilty.

this blogger lacks common sense.....
everyone keeps writing open letters - why not write a letter to your brain surgeon for medical help! assumptions after assumptions and using the mgbeke mentality to judge a murder case is idiotic. mr stanley nwabia needs to go back to school and learn qualitative analysis!

dayokanu: Demba Ba was bought to score, He was going to score and stopped illegally by the keeper.

He has done his own job. Chelsea got a penalty.
What they did with the penalty isnt Ba's problem
the ball was running away from goal - demba ba was never scoring any goal - that's the reason the referee didn't book joe hart. it was a coming together! torres has assisted goals in his last 3-4 league games and you still criticised his effort. ba had 90 mins today and he had no shots on/off target.
