dayokanu: Show me any ranking which would rate Yekini ahead of kanuthere's no ranking that would put kanu higher than yekini. you know what - sagamite should put a thread on the homepage - "is kanu better than yekini"? and let this community air their opinion. lets have a laugh at your stupidity a little. are you ready? dayokanu: Won Olympics gold for Nigeria our greatest footballing achievementanother idotic claim! only a lunatic would rate an age-grade competition like the olympics over nations cup. would spain rate olympic gold in football over euros? would argentina rate olympic gold over copa america? why not add japan 93 to the equation? |
dayokanu: AS Roma won the serie A in Batistuta daysthis is just plain idotic......how does one grade the quality of a player necessarily with the clubs they have played for? there's no point even arguing any further if you really think kanu is better than yekini that won golden boots everywhere he played then you are not worthy to even have a debate with! ohhhhhhh, it just occurred to me - because you are called dayoKANU? hahahahahaha - you are a disgrace to football pundits! kanu cannot lace the boots of rasheed yekini in any way. dayokanu: I know you have gaps in your education thats why simple logic evade you. You play for a big club that it no one cares if you played at one big club all your life or 5.we can split hairs here.....a striker that has attracted 3 big clubs at 22 is surely better than the one who attracted his first big club at the age of 24!!! The fact is Big players play for Big clubs you dont have to play for 7 big clubs.big players don't always play for big clubs otherwise zaki is better than aboutreika? mikel obi is better than okocha? ![]() Whether you twist turn or rotate around doesnt stop the fact that Kanu is a better footballer than Yekini, played for better teams won better awards won better titles.so it's all about ranking? what an odious regard! yekini was once highest scorer in his league in portugal, scored tonnes of goals for the super eagles. highest goal scorer in the nations cup, are you trolling here tonight? |
dayokanu: I dont know how you acquired such level of stupidity It must be a gift. So we are now summing up teams? Where did you get the theory that you sum up teams from?it's now been confirmed you quantitative analysis is not your forte. are you not the simpleton who brought up the fact that okocha only played in shyte clubs? bolton + psg + eintracht frankfurt as opposed to kanu's ajax + inter + arsenal? i am now using your own idiotic theory to destroy you and you still have the chutzpah to comment? you are a troglodyte with poop for brains. i have now figured out how to whoop you in debates like this - it's so easy! if balotelli can attract big clubs such as inter, man city and now ac milan(7 times european champions) all at the age of 22 then it's common sense that he's greater than toto schillaci by using your idiotic theory of club quality! Now lets try some exercise morronand yet the logic still evades him by trying möronic exercises.... the only question i should ask you now is how did you graduate? logic failed you so much that you even compared mexes(french) to maldini(italian)......can you now see your thalamus have swapped places with your cerebellum? how does the analogy fit in with the countrymen we have been pairing since? cheiiiiii - donate those brains of yours to a camel, abeg! it's a waste in that vacuum you call a head! You should be the Isaac newton and charles Darwin in the field of stupidittyyour thought process is slower than pluto's revolution round the earth - i wish it's still feasible to have you aborted at this point. how can one be so silly? the fact that balotelli attracted ac milan destroys schillaci if we go by your idiotic theory of the clubs both players have played. where was schillaci at the age of 21? where's balotelli? How would balotelli be better than Schilacci tool?same way you think kanu is better than yekini? you must be an utter tool to even come up with such. kanu played for 3 big teams in europe, yekini was at setubal and yekini is loads better. okocha also played for sub-standard teams in europe and he's miles better than kanu! |
dayokanu: pyou are a tool! inter + ac milan + man city > juventus + inter, unless you are stüpid How is mario Ballotelli better than Schilacci who played for Juventus and Inter Milan kindly enlighten us siranswer the question i posed to you? is balotelli better than schillaci? is kanu better than rasheed yekini or is baptista better than mario jardel? Jardel played for FC Porto a top club in case you need to update your football knowledge.so jardel(porto) has more weight than robinho(real madrid + ac milan + city)? you are a big fool! honestly - you are such a bïtch if you run away from home, you would come back pregnant! In the ranking of Nigerian footballers and their impact globally 8 out of 10 would rank Kanu ahead of yekinistop being idiotic and answer the question - it's a yes or no question, stop pussyfooting! in your rëtarded opinion, do you think kanu is better than yekini? |
dayokanu: He would walk into any starting lineup yet no single top club deemed it fit to give him a contract and walk into their lineupso let's use this theory of yours and apply to yekini vs kanu. kanu is better than yekini cos yekini never played in a top european club? robino is better than mario jardel? balotelli is better than toto schillaci? Only the likes of Bolton, Frankfurt and fenerbahce. yeah he turned Oliver Kahn and no top club still gave a shiiit about him. Maybe thats not the quality top clubs are looking forstop talking via your arsë - a lot of quality players never got to play for top teams. it's what it is. |
dayo, abeg - stop exaggerating! okocha would walk into any top 11 in the mid to late 90s. what are you talking about? this is the same okocha that turned oliver khan into a doormat in the bundesliga. there are many journalists who rate okocha - he would be in the top 10 of most people's list of african's best players. |
dayokanu: Zidane had less than that.zidane played well against croatia - it was that useless guivarch that clogged france's wheels of progress. guivarch is the most idiotic striker i have seen in a tournament until their mallam fullback came to their rescue. |
ileobatojo: Don't worry I won't keep you waiting forever like I'm still waiting on your sources for your 30hrs nonsense and your novel, pulled right out of your arse, definition of a stay at home mom.quaking in my boots! it's the awakening of the witchdoctor. madam gandalf herself with her white beard hot enough to burn satan! mama alternative to biology and midwifery. i hail o! ![]() |
why are these guys arguing sef? no 30-man list of the best players in africa can be the same. people have different opinions and favourites when it comes to football. even in the clubs we support, we have different players we see as the best, the most influential, the most important, etc. that being said, i don't see why sagamite's list is causing so much rancour. if anyone does not agree with the list, let him also provide his list! as for the kanu debate - he's a good player but he wasn't a ball of fire for his national team. in the context of doing it for the national team, jules bocande, titi camara, samson siasia and even keshi all deserve a mention! in club level competition, kanu was too much of a peripheral in the big clubs he played for to be mentioned! you people should get real and argue about something more exciting, this is boring already! |
ileobatojo: Lol! You're lucky I'm posting from a phone so I can't expose all your lies and flip flops (unfortunately for all of us who have had to endure them, they are multitude and spread over many pages) but keep your crap show on and I promise to do just that the minute I have time at my computer. In what world does a superior nuisance value equate to superior intelligence?all of a sudden, ileobatojo's computer is not available. never mind, the high powered intelligence quotient is strong enough to destroy your hard-drive. half the cube root of my IQ is forever behind you. patiently waiting for your barrel of lies again this evening. crack on........ |
ileobatojo: Sorry dear, I only get pinched by facts not unfounded drivel pulled right out of one's rear end. When you have some real substance to share, you can give it another shot.hahahahaha - you have been mullered! naturally, i don't expect you to admit that publicly but i am expecting a private message from you telling me i am right in the next couple of days. i don't just talk without substance - coogar itself is substance so get your facts right and drop the mgbeke parental skills you learnt from ibadan before someone calls child protection service gendarmes to toss your crusty arsë in a cold cell. the only mitigating factor i can concede in your case is the fact that the american culture tend to look down on stayathome mums. so forgive my superior intellect on this subject cos i stay in a continent where stayathome mums are worshipped/respected as the society recognises their courage and selflessness! |
ileobatojo: Nowhere in Dayo's post did he say he wants women to work 5-11. But please don't let the facts get in the way of your demented ranting. Carry on.oh lord - someone is really hurting o! does it pinch your intestines that i found about your abysmal parenting skills? don't take it too hard upon yourself - this is why we have forums as such as this one so we can learn! as per dayo, his mini-drama illustrated a nerve-wrecking traffic! in case you have lost touch with reality in lagos, most people working on the island don't get back till late in the night(11pm n above). fellis: You really truly do not see any problem in your plan. Tsk tsk tsk.so? even if she finishes school at 25 - is it not my money that has trained her to be in school? my responsibility as a father is to give my daughter options. she's free to take any of the options on her tab. how does this equate the drivel you spewed up there that my type won't train their daughters in school cos they expect the daughters to be a full housewife. i am not sure you have eaten today! Her fiance might want to get married right away after she graduates and this means that she will have to let go of the love of her life and work till age thirty something because daddy commanded her to do so.yet more heap of asinine comments.... how my daughter n her fiancé decide to plan their marriage is entirely up to them na. my mission has been accomplished once she graduates n cops a job! throughout her adolescent years, i would make her aware of the realities in the world today - she's going to marry someone who fits that bill and not the other way round like you are shamelessly claiming. And how many men these days do you see that are willing to marry a woman in her thirties? Majority of men want young girls in their early and mid twenties, not matured women that are approaching menopause.so all the women near 30 in naija are leftovers? no wonder there are many of you frustrated lots out here today. sorry to stab your bubble, my daughter would not be staying where 30 yr-old women are considered damaged goods! The kids get exposure and sharpen their social skills. Staying with strangers does not always translate to abuse and bad upbringing.when you have your own children, put them out there to get exposure and social skills - some of us place more value on children than handing them out like domestic pets! |
fellis: LWKMD. When did I say that they were rich meant that their children had a better upbringing than the humble family in Ojuelegba?you said in sarcasm that dora/deziani should be arrested for chasing their career - i simply implied you don't have any empirical evidence the kids had good upbringing. kids spending enough time with parents cannot be over-emphasized. nigerian parents mostly bribe these kids for the absence and pretend all is well. that is not proper upbringing... ileobatojo: And you accuse others of pathological lying and dyslexia! Dear lord!in case you are dyslexic, go and read dayokanu's mini-drama on page 1 or 2 and come back here. |
fellis: This actually made sense to you. Na wa o. So you would teach your female children to postpone child bearing till old age because you believe women are not supposed to work and train children at the same time?in a sane world, females graduate by 21/22 - get into employment and work. by 30 - she should have enough to cushion the effects of when she would not work. fortunately for her,she would be staying in a city where pregnant mothers get paid during their maternity - so what exactly is the problem here? What assurance do you have that they would get high paying jobs that would enable them save enough money in a short time and marry before old age? What assurance do you have that they would stay with their spouses forever and not divorce and then start trying to get jobs while raising small children?which kids benefit more staying with strangers where they are prone to abuse than their mother? pass that thing you are smoking to the left hand side. what assurance do i have that she would get a high paying job is the same thing as what assurance do i have that she wouldn't turn a lesbian. you can't just throw in these odd questions to suit your argument. bukatyne: So your wife tells you 'baby, i don't babies now because I want to build my career' and you'll just say 'ok,' or what?then i wouldn't have married her in the first place if there's a conflict of interest. be at your sharpest wit when debating. stillwater: If my husband is wealthy enough, I will sit my butt at home honestly.nigeria needs more women like you unlike the reverse thinking lots. if a woman cannot spend her husband's money while raising his child, whose money would she spend? i am starting to think majority of the people arguing against stayathome mums are single mothers. they have no one's money to spend even if they want to. |
fellis: Don't you know that Dora and Ngozi should be jailed for committing the atrocious crime of having dreams and having children at the same time?because they are rich does not mean their children had quality training. this is the yeye assumptions most naija people make. the rich also cry. a humble family in ojuelegba might actually have more family values drilled into them than dora or ngozi. this line of thought is disappointing from you. dora ko, deborah ni. maclatunji: Of course not, but know that as you chase the glory of your career. You are somewhat shortchanging your children. The top female executives I know do not deny this, what they try to do is try and make it up to their children- some try with gifts or taking them out to special places that they normally wouldn't visit. For others it is sparing no expense for their children's education and comfort. They do all of these to comfort their children because they know that nothing can replace the time, care and bonding they ought to share.don't you just preach morals to these lots.....they are slaves to money! any woman who does not recognise career women don't put enough shifts of quality time with their wards is deluded. ask any of these women, they would tell you they feel hurt knowing they are constantly away from home when they should be with the kids. |
bukatyne: Women with dreams and aspirations should not have kids? What of men with dreams and aspirations?is it not the same thing or are you thinking reversely? if my wife prefers her career more than quality upbringing then she should not have kids. if she cannot have kids, how would i have one? don't i need her to make kids with me again or what's wrong with you people? fellis: Wow. So you will train your female children to never have dreams and aspirations? Men like you should not be allowed to raise kids.wrong! i would train my female kids to have dreams and aspirations but they cannot combine career chasing with quality nurturing. while chasing the career, they'd better be on family planning and when they think they have saved enough to have one of the parents stay-at-home then let the baby-production begin. this logic confuses you naija women - i don't blame una, too much fufu or akpu slows down the thought process. |
Roland17: Kagawa has been a huge flop with Utd, physically he's been struggling with the rigorous competition and nature of the EPL thus his recent proneness to injury, technically gifted, but not in the EPL..kagawa has been injured for most parts of the season.....in the first few games before his injury, he scored and assisted and created chances. watch out for him when he returns to fitness. |
bukatyne: I don't like when people assume all wives should automatically be teachers/ govt workers because she's married why the husbands can soar to whatever height they want. That's why we have a lot of frustrated wives and bitter mothers. A wife should have the choice of doing whatever makes her come alive. Some women enjoy being an housewife hence the gift part I was taking about; some hate it with their being and would rather cook allnight and dash to the office in the morning than being housewives. They are not gifted in staying at home. Whatever rocks each person's boat. But everyone should know that women like men have drives, dreams and aspirations. They also aspired to be doctors, engineers, lawyers etc when they were young, would do everything to achieve that dream and would never feel fulfilled otherwise.then by all means such women with dreams and aspirations should not have children. they can stay married and still be happy without kids. it gives them the launching pad to hop to greater heights in their respective career ladders. |
fellis: When the father dies, a woman will spend her salary on her children and household first before herself. Things would be easier. The end.which salary? i have asked you to balance the deductions of her monthly stipends against the risks posed by leaving your kids with strangers. all those yeye creches where kids pick up infections and various germs? i remember one incident when a child with chicken pox infected the whole creche because the handlers were negligent. is that what you want to put against your N80,000 monthly salary? yet, you would be offended when i say women who chase careers and abandon their kids do not put their children first. I agree with the bolded part. There is no need to try to force any particular method down people's throats as the best way of raising children. What works for A might not work for B and vice versa.exactly my position last night until some goons arrived to rubbish the stay-at-home mums as leeches/parasites or lazy bums! Although there is no finding that shows that children with working mothers turn out worse.except that there is.... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-30342/Working-mothers-risk-damaging-childs-prospects.html cowgurl: ...chasing two BIG rats you mean.that's not the type of job the career women here are talking about.....working with the federal ministry? the career women here are talking about jobs that engage them all through the day. the bank jobs in nigeria. leave home at 5 am, come back home at 11pm. bukatyne: Your posts seem you are talking to the mothers alone. For the both of them to put in six hours, fine. Some fathers even while at home will not raise a finger...probably because he's not the biological father. which father fails to ask his child what he's been up to? go through his homework, read him bedtime stories? haba - are you disrespecting nigerian fathers or what? |
bukatyne: With parents or mothers? Does this apply to fathers? Is your 30hrs theory for both parents or mothers alone?both parents of course..... the 2 of them must put in a combined shift of at least 6 hrs per day devoted to their kids. mothers would definitely get to spend more time in the weekdays cos fathers would be at work. however, the father should relieve his wife during the weekend so the mothers can have some rest! marriage is a partnership venture. ileobatojo: Oh I have no doubt you know what it means. It's just that there's no limit to the amount of rubbish you're willing to spew to stay afloat in a debate. Quite frankly, it's disturbing.why are you belly-aching? appendix or ulcers? i have asked you to point out the millions of rubbish i have ptyalised in this debate for the past 4 hrs and yet to have not been able to bring one out. you are nothing but a sack of lies. if i have to lecture you on how to take care of kids then you are not worthy to be a mother! |
ileobatojo: Have you proved your bogus 30 hrs claim? You are too busy trying to orchestrate the biggest flip flop job by redefining stay at home mom! Even a binkie sucking toddler knows what a stay at home mom is!you're right, i do not know what a stay-at-home mum is. so why don't you tell us what it means, madam oxford dictionary? the 30 hrs claim does not even need any more validation. everywhere i looked, quantity/quality time couldn't be overstated. it's more than 30 hrs per week......women who value their children pick them up themselves from school and stay with them till the kids call it a day. the ones who drop them at after school clubs and karate centers deny their kids and cheat them of the quality time they need to bond with their parents. you can take that to the bank! |
cowgurl: What kind of jobs are we refering to here and what kind of housewifing should a mother be caught doing?so what gives then? please don't tell me one can balance this cos there's really no balance. you cannot chase 2 rats at a time. it's better you concentrate on one and give it 100%. marriage is even better as you have a partner doing the work whilst you relax at home nurturing the kids. if a woman cannot stay at home to nurture her child then she shouldn't have one. if a mother is looking for/taking up a job, she should apply for/get one that gives her time for herself and her family or better yet, put to use her God given talent & brain in becoming a Boss of her own so the family, most especially her kids do not have to suffer for her supposedly "understanding absence" in their lives.excellent point! |
ileobatojo: Ok, let's start small. First show me a credible source supporting your definition of a stay at home mom and we'll take it from there.which yeye definition are you talking about? if you need lessons in english language, please hire a ghananian! you claimed i have flip-flopped several times in the argument., i have brought out all my opening comments since the first page. the burden of proof is on you to pick out the shift in my position and if you cannot - wear your pathological lying badge with honour and dignity! |
bukatyne: Coogar, can a child differentiate between his father and mother in terms of needs?of course, unless you can show me a father who can breastfeed - a child would tell the difference. fellis: Bia, nwokem, it is starting to seem like you are just arguing just for the sake of arguing. What expenses are we deducting from the woman's salary again? Things WOULD BE EASIER for the family after the father dies if the mother has a job. Stop trying to argue it, you have no point.so you don't spend from your salary when you work? First of all, the average Nigerian is not a millionaire, one should even consider themself lucky if they succeed in finding a job that pays as much as 100,000 a month. The family WILL definitely have savings, I am not saying they won't, but those savings would not be so great when you take into consideration the fact that things are very expensive in this country and everyday spending can seriously deplete one's salary. Savings will be there quite alright, but those savings would be helpful in the long run only in special cases that involve well to do Nigerians.i think you are just arguing cos you love the colour of your prints you keep trumpeting what others have done since last night. the debate is simple. quality/quantity time with kids versus 2 working parents. you cannot achieve excellence while doing the 2 at the same time. if both parents focus on career then the kids don't get quality upbringing and vice versa. do i need to break heads for people to understand this point? there's no balance between the 2 roles - one must definitely take something out of the other so choose what suits your family. |
ileobatojo: I will pretend to ignore the absolute nonsense you just spewed about stay at home mom meaning the same thing as going to work from 8-3. Moving on.don't pretend cos that to me is the cop-out of the century. you accused me wrongly of flip-flopping, i called you out on it and now you want to pretend and ignore? it's not going to happen! Utter bollocks! Full time responsibility means being home whenever the kids are home? Wow! So simplistic and ridiculous! And a total flip flop (this time due to not thinking through what you are saying). So if I pick up my toddler from daycare at 6pm and we are home together the rest of the time, I am full time? Please come with your complete faculties when discussing with non-r*etards.you are a tool.....or perhaps comprehending the language is your biggest challenge. full-time responsibility is dedicating quality/quantity time with your parents when they are at home. if you pick your toddler from daycare and he sleeps at 8pm, what quality time have you had with that kid or are you a bumbling oaf? What? Says who? Source please? Children in daycare are fearful and cannot learn. Children up to 6 yrs need their parents 24/7 to not live in fear? Because you were a blubbering wuss when you started school doesn't mean all children are the same.another toolish comment, if my missive is touching a sore nerve, you need to calm down. children up to 6 don't need their parents 24/7. they need the kids when they are home, you odious neophyte. this is how you alter what people say to score cheap brownie points. if i don't call you on this one, it would soon become factual to you that coogar said kids of 6 need their parents 24/7 to function properly. i told you last night, you need parental skills. Young children have been shown to cope AND thrive in daycare facilities!people have shown to cope and survive gunshots so then shoot yourself and you might not die. what a daft statement to make? Says who? A child that goes to daycare does not feel safe and loved? Do you have a source for this?he does not and if you are not a tool, you would agree, if you are home when they arrive home in the afternoon, they are more likely to really talk to you in that casual, spontaneous atmosphere of the moment than they may many several hours from now. children need to come home rather than be placed in one more group setting. there needs to be enough time in the day when your child feels special and unique. his sense of specialness is provided by you in the way the day is structured. how much time does he get just with you? what percentage of the day is he in a large group? how much time is he at choice about whether he spends time alone, with a few friends or just with you? if the majority of his day is spent in group settings, he is not at choice and he is one of many children. how special would you feel? |
fellis: Abeg I could not read this your long Wole Soyinka novel, I am not saying young children don't need to spend time with their parents, they do. Both parents.and who says there aren't many broken and psychologically-damaged human beings in developed countries? of course there are.....and i also agree that sometimes there are situations where both parents must work to make ends meet but......those parents should not delude themselves they are giving their children "quality" upbringing. they aren't. some kids would cope with such arrangements and some wouldn't - there's always a risk in such arrangements, that's the point i have been trying to make since day one. bukatyne: Mac, I believe you have read all my posts. I didn't intend to insult any one and I apologise if any one feels insulted. I might not have worded my opinion properly or clearly but that's my opinion and I am entitled to it.you might not have? ![]() |
fellis: Things would definitely be easier for them if the woman works.i doubt it....the career working woman spends money too, isn't it? deduct her expenses from her salary and the difference is not enough to abandon children with strangers. what are the risks of leaving your kids with strangers versus the little amount left after monthly expenses back n fro to your office. is it worth it? you would find out that it's not worth it for vast majority of the women out there. @bold, ejor, no take laff kill me. Did you start insurance scheme for the family or what makes you so sure they have life insurance? Not many Nigerians are even comfortable enough to regularly pay insurance company money for life insurance. Do you even live in Nigeria?you talked about sudden death not sudden loss of job. even with sudden loss of job, are you giving me the hints that this man just blows all his salary(living hand to mouth) every month and if he dies there's nothing left in the coffers? yet more nollywood utterances. Ujujoan: Are you insinuating that those women who work do not put their children firstif you are not there when your child goes to school and you are away when the child returns then you do not put your kids first. |
fellis: What point are you trying to make? Even stay at home wives could lose their lives while they are inside their houses, I am not talking about loss of life which can happen at any time without warning and which no one can undo. I am talking about the family losing their sole source of income which can be prevented if the mother also works.of course, there's no empirical evidence that a career woman would also get by if her spouse suddenly kicks the bucket......the sole source of income works a good job, has a good pension scheme and an air-tight life insurance scheme, how would the family suffer if he dies? please, stop envisioning nollywood examples here where a breadwinner dies and the woman's woes would quadruple overnight with inlaws homing in to chase her out of her husband's house. we are talking about real world here, abeg! Children need security (which the mother or father can provide, but due to the fact that any unexpected mishap could make either parent lose their job and due to the fact that times are hard, it is recommended that both parents work. Relatives or creches can take care of the children while the parents are at work. There is nothing to prove that children who were put in daycare turn out worse than children who weren't so I don't understand those that are vehemently against it.when we become parents, the responsibility is a full time one. full-time means that parents are at home with their children because children build their trust in themselves from a safe and secure base. when they do not feel safe, they cannot learn. i repeat, when children are fearful, they cannot learn. and when their parents are not regularly with them, children are fearful. fear in children goes beyond looking scared. it can manifest itself in as many ways as each child is unique, sleep problems, temper tantrums, clinginess, lethargy, defiance, aloofness and a myriad of other behaviors. basically, fear makes children insecure. young children under six years old do not understand why their parents leave them in the care of others for long periods of time. all they know is that you are not there. they may learn how to cope, but there is a wide gulf between coping and thriving. child care teaches children how to cope. child care is not the same as early childhood education which allows children to expand their learning experiences appropriate to their age. early childhood education means about two or three hours a day, three to five days a week depending on the age of the child. child care, on the other hand, de facto occurs when you leave your children somewhere all day or most of the day, most every day. no matter how "good" or expensive or "quality" the facility, the inescapable reality is the amount time the child is in a care facility. the message you tacitly send to your child is: you are not important enough to me for me to be with you. no matter what the circumstances of your life or what you say to your child, your child internalizes that he is not first in your life, which makes him not feel safe. young children need to spend the vast majority of their time with their parents. money cannot buy love! |
Truckpusher: You shouldn't bother wasting your time trying to educate these people, one of them just lied that some women are working just for the fun of it and i ask again where in this world do folks wake up in the morning and come back in the evening just for fun?bunch of deluded folks.... they are even bringing death excuse into the issue that what if the breadwinner dies? it's akin to me deciding to trek to america from nigeria because people die in plane crashes. |
fellis: Apart from the fact that the children would most likely appreciate a working mother more, we should also take into consideration the fact that the man could lose his job. He could die or could suffer a disability that keeps him from being able to work. What fate do the wife and kids suffer then? Where would they get money to survive when the mother has no job and was busy doing full-time-stay-at-home and-spend-quality-time with-your-children housewife?by the same token, both parents could also die on their way to work via stray bullets from daredevil robbers so how is this an advantage over the stayathome wives? nigerians and their uncanny ability to distort the facts. there are several reasons to be with one's children in the early stage. kids need security and your absence can never ever provide that security. |
chidyke77: i dnt think d nations cup was an obstacle bcus d match started by 8:45pm. mbulela: I can't believe you of all people made the comment above.the nations cup was an obstacle cos i stayed on the channel to watch the delayed transmission of the other group game. i never even flipped through any sports site to check there were midweek games..... |
where's the dyslexic ileobatojo who cannot read and process information properly before accusing someone of flip-flopping. my position did not change one jot throughout the debate. i have been so consistent. if you mistook stayathome for an unemployed wife then the semi-illiteracy is entirely your fault. the emphasis from the onset is that the kids get to spend their time with their mums after school. chikena!!! |
