Tgirl4real: Na every banker get class? huh

I'm sure u aint in naija. What if hubby was employed as a marketer and was sacked cos he couldn't meet his target ? What if he was just a common teller huh Abeeegiiii
does one even need a job in nigeria to sleep with women?
the same lagos where the average man has about 9 girlfriends and the
chics know one another and are comfy with the arrangement?

abegggi, the poster is telling porkies about her husband.
this is a cheap lie to paint her husband black. i agree he might be jobless,
lazy and what not but to tell us she's employed housemaids after housemaids for
her husband to molest is a cheap lie.

one suspicion is enough for any housewife to be discouraged from employing housemaids.
there are houseboys in lagos too.
We should wait to hear the other side of the story? Again Seriously??!!

Since when do we get HIS and HERS Story on NL??!!

What pray tell is so special about a banker that makes it impossible to imagine he can sleep with his housemaid??! I mean except Bankers have a special kinda banking tool that keeps their urges in check, I don't know why him being a banker automatically rules him out.
it's happened few times on this section and the disparity between the
2 stories tend to be very wide. wifey comes to lie and buy empathy and then
the hubby posts his own version and everyone goes "wow, i knew she was lying from the onset"

my point is - a banker has vast options in nigeria to sleep with classier babes without
detection or the fear of infecting himself with togolese housemaids. he's not disabled
or incapacitated, why be a serial housemaid molester? if it's true then he needs deliverance
but my £100 says that bit isn't true.

debosky: I hear some of the Housegirls and Maids of Akute (HAMs) now use Chanel No 5. . . .they are no longer malodorous. cheesy
Besides, when did a man's johnny begin to exhibit class discrimination? All it needs is sufficient opportunity and little/no consequence.
and his next achievement in life is to molest one housemaid after the other?
i just don't see how those teenage housemaids provide any excitement to an ex banker
when there are willing, hungry and desperate graduates in lagos....it's a farce!

fergie has been reluctant to spend it as we keep winning.

now it has broken, no title in a season must fergie
and i expect a reaction.....united won't go 2 seasons without
winning the league.

montelik: you see all our 3 games against City this season. Just the way we played is telling. Blown out at home, barely escaped with a victory against 10 men in the F.A cup and a thoroughly scared and inferior approach in the title decider and derby. There is no denying they are ahead of us, and they won't be slowing down or standing still, so we shouldn't be taking chances on that.
i disagree.....

we murdered em at the community shield.
united were on top of them till evans got himself foolishly sent off.
the fa cup, united were on top till they took their foot off the gas(a worrying
habit that often costs us in games).

even the game at city was down to fergie's pragmatism.
if united had gone there needing a win, we would have put up a better performance.
we knew we needed a win against them at fa cup to qualify for the next round and
the approach was different. we were leading before kompany got sent off.

i really don't think city are ahead of us. some of the games they played
this season were rubbish. they were taken apart by arsenal, everton, swansea
and even sunderland at home but they took their home games seriously than us and
they never played de jong and nasri in their defence.

to be dogging malodorous house maids.

montelik: We can't win outright bidding wars with City, Chelsea, possibly Madrid without paying excessive premiums that are damaging considering our present business model. We can still pay a slight premium for certain types of players (very young and promising), but not in competition with teams that don't care about profits and losses (City and Chelsea) and have "Galatico" tendencies (Madrid).

Besides the area we need big investment is central midfield. If we blow anything beyond £25 mill on a striker, what is left for midfield. Sigurdsson and Hummel (who is this huh) ain't enough to even be confident of regaining the EPL, not to speak of making a run in the UCL.
if we get the wounded players fit n proper for next season, we would replicate 2008 season easily.
are chelsea better than united this season? why are they in the final?

then the difference between man city and united is very negligible(too minute).
they had kompany all season and we had vidic eating kelloggs in his living room. that's the difference.

we don't need a major overhaul. we just need a clean bill of health.

in another news, gary neville has joined the england coaching staff

montelik: Story my brother. Nasri would have had an easy shirt if he came here, but the offer of City turned his head and we were not going to match such madness. Even with their stacked midfield they already sniffing around Modric, Goetze e.t.c.

By the time Tevez is offloaded and Adebayor as well. City will make them offers that will change their life and they will happily sign, even if they are going to team where they are permanently in danger of being benched once another big name catches the fancy of the owners.
nasri went there because(let's be honest), he's better than most players in city's midfield.
only david silva have more quality than nasri and the difference is even marginal.
united can still pull one or two big signings and athletico madrid already sold us de gea.
there must be a good rapport between united and athletico.

i am not a fan of kagawa. if we are getting anyone at all in dortmund, let it be hummels.
then splash £10m on sigurdsson. in sigurdsson, we have a young scholes. he's 22 and highly
technical. united should wrap up their signings before euro 2012. that competition might
bump the price of the players we are interested in.

montelik: Oga, hope you know the "money miss road" owners on the other side of Manchester are after both those guys. No way would we be able to win a bidding war, nor would I want to spend that much on either of those guys.

Would sooner pay a smaller sum for a Hulk than some over-hyped flavor of the moment strikers.
city is brimming with football players. players must know they would be selling
themselves short going to city cos of the amount of game time they would get.

their attack - dzeko, adebayor, aguero, balotelli and tevez.
midfield - nasri, silva, adam johnson, yaya toure, de jong, gareth barry, etc

let's be honest - cavani or falcao won't pin a permanent shirt at city.
with owen and berbatov moving, they have spaces awaiting them at united than city.

ofefegirl: I've been married for 8years. Before the marriage, my hubby and I had a very cordial and beautiful relationship. He was a banker and lost his job 3months before our wedding.

He hasnt been able to get himself together ever since. Not gotten himself a job and has been acting very unserious. I have single handedly shouldered all responsibilities of the family including taking care of him without complaining. I have to force him to go get a job even to the extent of following up on written applications for him; he, most times will pass the first stage but will never be able to make it to the final stage of which they could employ him.

I couldnt bear it any longer at a stage (about 6years into the marriage), reason being that he started accusing me of infidelity which was never true. Considering our place of residence, Akute and I work on the Island, i always had to leave home before sunset and considering the nature of my job, i do close late and return home late. The situation got as bad as him having to be having sexual intercourse with my housegirls(to an extent that the longest a housegirl will serve with me is just 4months). Can be so difficult getting a good maid in Lagos and i kept loosing them in intervals of 3/4months.
This did not allow me concentrate even on the job (which happens to be the only source of livelihood)for the entire family which includes 2 female children.

The situation has so degenerated to the level where we dont even discuss or talk with each other now, he tell lies at every given opportunity and is very unashamed. He tells me to my face that there is no big deal in being a woman and taking charge of all financial responsibilities of the home front.

i truly wish to leave but afraid of what people will say.

pls i need your advise.
how can your husband shag your housemaid?
did you catch them doing this or you added your own fiction to draw empathy?
if he's cheating on the outside with the women of his class, i would agree but
the housemaid bit is really confusing. he used to be a banker so why would he
stoop so low to start humping your maids?

higuain? useless beyond the word......i understand berbatov and owen are moving....
we need strikers like falcao or cavani. not higuain types.

the central midfield is where fergie should concentrate the most.

We lost it in the last few minutes. We went from being champions to runner up in the last minute. That is the worst way to lose it.

If City had scored 3 goals in the first 10 minutes, then it wouldn't be that bad . . . but snatching it like that at the death of it is heart-breaking.
we cannot control what city do. we have won our game.

I disagree coogar, it is the worst way to lose a championship . . . in the last minute.

If Citeh won it the best way . . . then surely we lost it the worst way.

Can the Euros start already
how's it the worst way? we finished 89 points as a defending champions
tied on points with city and you are saying we lost it the worst way.
how else do champions surrender? easily like a Arrow and finish 9 points
below like chelsea did last season? give our boys a pat! they did well.

StarBoard: Stop being a damp blanket and post like you're supposed to be sensible.
there must be a hole(the size of orange) in your brain!

Read through my posts and tell me where I slammed the door shut on United's chances.
you have been sucking mancini's phallus since they got back in the title race and you
told us how fergie was shyte and reh reh reh. you don't qualify to be a red devil(i am afraid).

As per how to lose the title, this is revisionist reasoning/deduction at best.
You forgot how we threw away the 8-point advantage we had a month ago.Remixing things as usual to suit your deflated argument.
senselessly forgetting it was city that allowed us to be 8 points ahead in the first place.
they had difficult games to navigate during that period which coincided with kompany's absence
and they lost 8 points. then came united's difficult games and city's easy games and normalcy
was restored. hardly a disaster. united finished the league with 89 points - same as city!

As per goal difference, stop talking through your sweat pores.
I said history would record that City won the league in 2011/12 when you brought up the crap about spending power and being tied on points.
it doesn't matter what history says. the same history would say united have won it 19 times.
which defeats the purpose of your argument that fergie is shyte, doesn't it?
it could be worse, you could have been a liverpool fan or even chelsea fan(finished 6th).

finishing it tied on points meant city didn't win it at a canter like many expected
especially after the 6-1 debacle.

If we had scored a few more when we were supposed to, would we be singing this song right now?
more idiotic reasoning. city did not win it because they scored more goals. they won it cos
united conceded a ridiclulous number of goals - the absence of vidic and the bedding in of
david de gea was responsible for that. it's a disgrace that city's back four that had lescott,
clichy and richards managed to concede less goals than united. to win the premier league, the
defence has to be very good. united's strikers scored 4 goals against everton(the pivotal game)
and yet managed to concede 4 goals at old trafford of all places - how many should we have scored
to keep everton away? 11 goals?

You started by rebranding the Community shield the super cup and telling us we had achieved something this season by winning it against City
Now that we have no trophy,i ask again,is this side better than last season's, judging from results?
much better than last season but unlucky with injuries to key players.
they finished 89 points to last season's 80 points. they scored more
league goals than last season's team. conceded less goals than last season's team.
they won more league games than last season's team. you have to be daft to think
this team didn't perform this season. that city are the most improved team is nothing to
do with united. we cannot control how much city spend.

if we are going to lose the title, this is how to lose it.
how many citeh fans cried before dzeko's equaliser? some even
walked away. that's why the premier league is the best in the world.
starboard would have us believe goals difference will never decide a league winner.....

Career › Re: When Will Nigerian Lawyers Stop Wearing Wigs, Looking Like Fools To The World? by coogar: 11:13pm On May 11, 2012
Knegoyon: When will Nigeria stop wearing wigs looking like fools to the entire world?

Is now the time to remove wig wearing as part of court dress in Africa’s Commonwealth of Nations and those in the Caribbean?

The use of wigs in British courts dates back to the 1680s.

The Commonwealth of Nations is an organization of 54 independent member states. All members except Mozambique and Rwanda were part of the British Empire, out of which the Commonwealth developed. Not all members nations of the Commonwealth’s courts wear wigs.

The BBC reported in 2008 that British judges in civil and family cases in England and Wales have stopped wearing wigs as part of a new dress code. The judges have also started wearing a new simplified design of working robes in court, with the aim of modernizing. Judges and lawyers working on cases in criminal courts will keep their traditional wigs and gowns.

In November 2011 it was announced that lawyers appearing at the United Kingdom’s highest court no longer have to wear traditional dress. The new guidance also applies to lawyers appearing before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, which sits at the UK Supreme Court building in Parliament Square, Westminster, opposite the Houses of Parliament. A practice had already been adopted in family cases under which advocates customarily appear unrobed. Supreme Court justices do not wear legal dress themselves. In the Supreme Court the justices themselves wear business suits – as did the Law Lords before them – but until now barristers appearing before them have been required to wear wigs and gowns.

Judges and attorneys in some of Africa’s Commonwealth of Nations and those in the Caribbean still wear wigs.

Some Commonwealth of Nations like: Canada, India, Pakistan. South Africa do not wear wigs.

India gained independence from the United Kingdom on August 15, 1947.
King George VI relinquished the title of Emperor of India in 1947.

Pakistan gained independence from the United Kingdom on August 14, 1947.
From 1947 to 1956, Pakistan was a dominion in the Commonwealth of Nations, under two monarchs. In 1947, King George VI relinquished the title of Emperor of India and became King of Pakistan. Pakistan became an Islamic and republic in 1956. Pakistan left the Commonwealth in 1972 and rejoined 1989. Pakistan was then suspended in 1999 and the suspension lifted in 2004. Pakistan was suspended again in 2007 and had the suspension lifted in 2008.
