Jalzy29: Dear Cookies: I got my UK police clearance last month so i understand your question. For proof of current address: You can use your bank statement, be very sure your bank statement carries your current address if not go to the bank with your Nepa bill, and International passport and change your address to a current one.
I made use of two bank statements e.g: GTB, WEMA Bank.. So if you have accounts with two different banks e.g: Zenith, Fbn: Then go there and request for a month bank statement that is sufficient to proof your current address.
I tried the Network provider route it was totally a wasted effort. Besides if you have a good relationship with your doctor he can write a letter for for you as well, showing your address and all other information requested.
Regarding delivery: its best you have an address in the UK, SO that once it lands there you can tell them to scan and send you a copy. in my case my aunty sent me the delivered copy few weeks later through a church member coming from London. Thanks a lot |

boldinc: Only 3 years of work experience is required. With he 4 you have as an HR officer, you do not need the NYSC experience... Thanks |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by cookies: 1:59am On Mar 15, 2017 |
penitential: Is your NOC job description related to HR? if yes, then the four years experience is more than enough point you need. You obviously don't need any reference letter for the fund transfer officer since you're not claiming point for that. Ok, thanks a lot |

Dear all, please when claiming points for past work experience must it be within the chosen NOC? For instance, I've got 4yrs of work experience with an NGO as an HR Officer (have got a reference letter for that), but during my Nysc I worked in the bank as a funds transfer officer. Can I also get a reference letter & claim points as well? |

dupyshoo: Hi All, I just want to let everyone know that l won't be regular on the thread anymore due to changes in my schedule. This might also affect the rate at which I attend to PMs. The good thing is that there are so many people on the thread that are knowledgeable about the process and will be able to answer any questions that may be asked.
I have learnt a lot, made some good friends through this thread and have enjoyed answering questions. I wish everyone on this journey quick PPR and smooth relocation to Canada. |

temitope06: Your ability to speak and flow correctly in English Language is what they are after. However, be reasonable enough in ur answers. They can't ask abt A and you keep talking about X, you get. For example, they can ask you to talk about the last time u travelled out, u fit never comot una compound but formulate a realistic travel story to a country where u know some things abt, based on diff stories u have heard. Thanks. It's a good thing this one is not as tough as Arsenal winning EPL... |

40manlappy: There are no wrong or right answers. What matters is your ability to "flow" on the topic, so to speak. Even if you are talking "nonsense", just try to be fluent and use good grammar. One trainer even said that nobody cares if you are lying, just stay on the topic
Don't worry about going overtime; you would be stopped anyway since the session is timed. You should not give the examiner the impression that you have nothing to say.
It has also been said that vocabulary matters too, so you can try to beef up your vocabulary. Thanks |

Successjoy: Happy Sunday to everyone in the house and thanks to those who have been answering various questions.
God Bless.
Well i started this journey last year with the help of my Sister In Law but was discouraged due to my low IELTS scores then L-6 S-6 R-5.5 W-5
Now i'm ready to start everything all over again and here is my profile.
Age: 24
Language scores: L8 S8 W7 R8
Qualifications: National Diploma
Years of experience: 2 years
POF : 1m but i have willed properties that i can sell to complete the amount stipulated for singles.
I will be starting my WES evaluation this week but i'm afraid that my Diploma degree may affect my eligibility or scores or the Diploma may not be accepted.
Gurus in the house, what do you think? should i continue with my application or move on to complete my BSC degree ( I just gained admission through direct entry into a Fed Uni here in Nigeria). Is this your current IELTS scores? |

Hi all, please in the IELTS speaking test is there any right or wrong answer? As long as you speak on the topic given even if the point you are trying to make isn't correct? Just want to have it in mind as I prepare. |

boldinc: He will, as long as your score is good enough... Do you mean if I carry on with this application and choose the non-accompanying option for my spouse, he doesn't have to write IELTS, ECA etc....yet he'd still get PR in the end? I'm really confused about this. |

40manlappy: $200 is for the actual assessment while $75 is for courier charges for applicants outside Canada. $15 is the cost for within Canada.
If you have a relative in Canny, you can use his address for the collection of the hard copy and pay just $215 since you should still get a soft copy anyway. Thank you. Please which other payment method can you suggest? My naira debit card is declined because it's above cumulative limit and I don't have a dom account. |

boldinc: Use the CRS tool to check your score without him writing IELTS nor doing the ECA... Last I checked, if I remember correctly, your score was good for ITA without. SO confirm and save some cash and time... But if he doesn't do any of these will he still get PR in the end? |
