highchief1: anambra na the luckiest state with governors normally. As an Anambra man, I do not agree with you. We are yet to have a governor who deeply understands our collective, innate comparative advantages, and one who has developed a deliberate program, in implementable phases, to help the state realize its full potential, especially in agriculture, entrepreneurship and innovation. I'd ask just one question: Where is Anambra's equivalent of ETF in Lagos? If there is one state that should the first to idealize, setup and effectively run a vibrant, multi-billion naira Entrepreneurship Trust Fund in Nigeria, it should be Anambra state, before any other. I recall that within the first two years of Soludo's administration, tens of thousands of high-yield palm seedlings were purchased and shared across the state and LGAs to boost agricultural productivity - brilliant! But where are the palm plantations today? What is the new mileage we've earned in palm oil production? Where are those large palm plantations? How many employment opportunities were generated? Infact, I don't want to talk. |

I bet you billions was budgeted for this lowly poor structure. Soludo lacks taste for quality and class. My brother, I be wan loud am before o. Really, mediocrity just emerged at the roof top in Anambra. Maybe, we should just show ourselves a few of the schools Governor Zulum built in Borno. |

RichBoy247: Soludo the Solution.
A professor of Economics should not be compared to a 3rd Class Philosophy graduate from Agulu He should simply have named it Enugwu-Otu General Hospital, Aguleri. All these Solution this, Solution that, are beginning to rub off negatively on what I'd want to describe as a 'mandate for extraordinary service delivery' given to the governor. A next administration would not waste time in cleaning up all of those, after all, it is Anambra state funds that is being deployed on those projects. These projects should, upon commissioning, simply be named after their host communities or things that the people can easily relate to, to engender a sense of ownership and eliminate the growing poor social etiquette of self-praise in our polity. The Solution Fun City should simply have been named Awka Fun City, just like Awka City Stadium, International Convention Center, Awka, Anambra International Cargo & Passenger Airport, Umueri (now renamed after the late Prof. Chinua Achebe). The governor is doing a very good, no doubt; but I do not understand all of these namings: Solution Motorpark, Solution General Hospital, Solution Fun City, Solution Market etc...it is beginning to appear awkwardly egoistical. |

Very hardworking and hardly troublesome like some Super Eagles players of yesteryears. Why they basically ignored him is beyond me.. Abi, he was a member of the Obidient movements? Respect to Peter Rufai! Indeed, an outstanding Nigerian sportman! Meanwhile, I need to know more about how was he treated. |

Well, news flash dear despotic supporters of the Agulu Underachiever, it is a democracy and ANYONE would criticise ANYONE and there's nothing you people can do about it.
It is no surprise we're seeing behavioural patterns like this coming from Gringoris supporters, after all, 90% or more of them double as IPOB supporters and Kanu disciples. They must be sick youths. Certainly not Anambra youths. The caption is wrong. People get criticized everyday. Peter cannot be an exception. |

TimeManager: Jagaban!. $60billion light rail project connecting all the six geopolitical zones is done and dusted. Such a massive deal wouldn't have been possible if he listened to his detractors to enter the ring descending so low in replying Atiku's tantrums, Elrufai's toxicity or Obi's negativity. He is the President, his legacy is of paramount importance and as such, wouldn't come low to their level. Every international engagement counts, every Investment matters. In two years, Mr President has attracted $50 billion worth of foreign direct investment into the country. Just a few hours ago, the Dutch PM was on the phone discussing bilateral relations with Mr President. The Nigerian President is the most sought after, with the fact that he's the most powerful President in Africa. President Tinubu will strengthen economic and bilateral ties with willingly powerful nations in the concept of mutual respect and cordiality. The Nigerian President will never run before anyone or bow to anyone who embarrasses African Presidents and Heads of States in the White House. President Tinubu will uphold the dignity of Africa being the leader of the African continent. God bless President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, God bless Nigeria.
-Kiss the truth! Grammar does not fix economies. Economy does not tell lies. A good economy speaks in the improving welfare of citizens. It is that simple. It speaks in job opportunities, improvement in security, availability of quality basic services and utilities, widening economic inclusion, increasing productivity, decent politicking, sensitivity of leaders, reduced inclination for corruption, deepening citizens participation and interest in governance, purchasing power and value of currency etc. Insecurity is still rampant, the middle class has vanished...inflation is still in flames. In what sectors have the FDIs that have come in, gone into? What new industries have been set up across the country? Our educational standard is in a steady nose-dive. Healthcare services are still a great concern. What is being done about the whirling brain drain? These are critical issues that deserve attention, not hosting Soludo to come and speak English, and discuss elections whereby the country is bleeding. A smart president will ensure strong structures before dishing out bigger chunks of FAAC to states. He should have known that it is not in the size of allocations, but their applications to meet the needs of the people. Under Tinubu, politicians, especially governors and NASS members, are all overfed babies to the detriment of the masses. Now that NASS constituency projects are now N1billion and N2billion, and states get significantly higher allocations, what has been put in place to ensure that the gains from subsidy removal impacts Nigerians directly? You people think it is just about coming here to write beautiful English. Nigerians know better. |

irumole1975: Many men are self absorbed especially Nigerian men. I read a post on Twitter yesterday about a man who find out his child isn’t his and the wife has been sleeping around with her ex. The man on knowing this stopped all responsibility on the woman and called the marriage quit. What a weak man.
Strong men forgive! They don’t resent and dwell on past mistakes. The children should not suffer because of the little mistake from the mother. Talk to ur wife, ask her why she cheated, apologise to her and let her know you still have her best interests at heart. Marriage is all about forgiveness.
Also, you can try talk to the man she cheated on u with and tell her to stop sleeping with ur wife. Thai way ur wife will know u truly love her and her respect for u will increase.
Nigerian men should learn to swallow their ego Mtchewww. All this nonsense just to put out content on the social space. |

kingthreat: KWAM1 has shown that he is a very arrogant toutish person as a few people say he is. The recent 6-month flight ban is a good move so overrated celebritites can know that they are not bigger than any society's rules.
But let's face it, this woman too needs nothing less than a 6-month suspension. Rules are rules, you do not move a plane when people are nearby. She must be an impulsive bratt too. If KWAM1 had died or suffered a serious injury, that would be her last flight. Very silly woman.
Two wrongs don't make a right. The pilot was a match for KWAM1's arrogance but her actions were also very ignorant. I agree with everything you said but the very last part. "The pilot was a match for KWAM 1's arrogance but her actions were also very unprofessional and mindless....not ignorant." |

You all keep boasting online but your political god is sending emissaries after emissaries to beg and pacify the North. That's practically what the thread is about, Tinubu sending Gbajabiamila to beg Northern stakeholders. You can continue to worship your Southwestern tin-god anyways. Tinubu is very likely to loose in 2027. Fact remains that he has not managed the country well. The North is not disposed to supporting him again. The Yorubas should be careful not to hinge their entire political and socio-cultural future on the inordinate selfish ambition of one man. You are very correct. Even though, as an Igbo, I do not entirely understand the Omuluabi concept, I believe that Fashola is pure class, and posseses the mental competence (mind you, i didn't say 'intellectual capacity' for a reason) to lead Nigeria. Not Tinubu, Not Osinbajo...but Fashola, for me, without any doubts, represents Southwest's best material, in terms of result, temperament, ingenuity, character, knowledge and resilience, for Nigeria's presidency. |
