You need to update. lol Mobil at least 20m, Total over 20m, Chevron slightly more than Mobil, I do not believe nlng pays as much as Mobil not even close by 2/3mil dway4ward: Shell 12, Mobil 15, Total 16-18, Chevron- 16-20, Eni - falafolo, NLNG blood money compared to all. |

There were wrong answers. In other words there was a right answer. There was an answer that met all the specs they wanted - at least that they asked me about. Let me shed more light: When they mentioned additional info that showed my option had been vacant for quite a while, I simply went perfect the more reasons why the company should pick it up pronto as it might not be for much longer and that it was even surprising that such an a good property had been vacant that long! They stopped short of chuckling. When they mentioned that a certain percentage of workers wanted a particular facility that mine didn't have, I simply went from the survey conducted, my option had a facility that a larger percentage of staff wanted. On and on like that... all buttress my view point that indeed there was a right answer. So if some of their questions "busted" your choice option, it means you probably didn't pick the best answer on there, but you most likely didnt pick the worst one either. airsaylongcon: It was the same for all candidates. Everyone of the locations met some criteria. None however met ALL of d criteria. The ones that met employee comfort were short of space or not readily available when needed. The ones that were readily available with sufficient space did not provide employees comfort. |

My choice validated the questions they asked though... That's why I believe that for this section there was actually a correct answer. Even with regards to the amenities, my choice favoured the option that had the highest percentage in the survey. I was grinning to myself . At some point they finally smiled airsaylongcon: Coolio2014 believe me if you had more insight about that fact finding task you will doubt your choice. I stuck with my choice purely because I wanted to be on time and within budget but other factors like considering the needs and preferences of the employees bamboozled me sha.
My presentation I had a Hausa guy whose accent I struggled with. I kept say "Excuse me?" |

I believe showing nerves is not a bad sign. It just shows the interviewers that you really are interested in the position. Someone could benefit from this,so let me break it down a bit: The group stage: I was the group leader (I offered myself for the role). my co group members were really smart folks. We were quite orderly and things progressed well not much nerves here. Interview Stage: A wee bit of nerves, I mean it's NLNG! lol. Whenever I felt the nerves shooting up I smile... Believe me this helps. Also when in doubt about how to answer, doesn't hurt to ask for the question to be repeated. Another helpful hint is to pause for a wee bit, think before answering! Usually people rush off to answer and run out of steam midway. Presentation Stage: now for this exercise I was quite nervy (by my own standards - I say this because some other person observing might say I was calm). I dealt with this by making sure I prepared making great use of time. My presentation was well outlined and this helped! I spoke quite fast though! The assessors didn't seem to mind . Fact Finding: Now I believe what greatly helped me here was the answer I picked! When they started making more information available, it just seemed to buttress that the one I picked had been well analyzed. and it helped that I had a good job to go back to . So whenever I felt nerves rising I calmed myself by mentally saying "worse case scenario I go back to your job" . Hopefully this helps... Shalom windows98: Not to derail your thread or anything, for you guys that are still in the game, how was your AC like on a personal level (stage by stage). Did you at any point have doubts or show nerves and how did you flip the switch.
Thanks

I am not pro anybody! But at least Buhari has started probing corruption. I careless if it's all PDP as long as they are corrupt let them be prosecuted! Why didn't the past administration probe all these other people you mentioned? Name one sigle high profile corruption trial under the past administration? Can we all just set aside sentiments please! We need to make corrupton as unattractive as possible! airsaylongcon: You call the present cabinet the best team we've ever had? Like seriously? I know Pat Utomi for one is better than Kemi Adéoṣùn. Lai Mohammed best Minister of Information? Frank Nweke Jr performed miles better. Abeg let's not fall for that politics bait that was thrown here. We will just argue tire. I am anti-Buhari until he probes Babangida, Abacha, Abdulsalam and Obasanjo. Add Tinubu and Amaechi to that list. Until that day, all this so-called anti-corruption stance is exactly that, just a stance. |

Whao what a bashing !!! CHM11: oil price doesn't stop NLNG from telling us if we passed or didn't pass her AC. An advice like 'bla bla bla, your performance was satisactory/unsatisfactory-You will be advised in due course/we wish you the very best in your career bla bla bla.....' will really show concern, care, empathy and some form of integrity.... This silence 2 years and 2 months into the recruitment and 5 months after AC is just weird and funny at the same time.
google once spent 13 month conducting a recruitment and the entire world tagged them haywire company calling the 13 months long recruitment as ridiculous. This is NLNG....minus advert and application time, it's 26 blooooodily damned months...who does that?... no wonder the gods have turned from us as a country....even the so called pace setters couldnt even do realistic projections!!!....global oil price dropped and an entire nation went loco like a pack of roaches who just saw an angry rooster....
its a shame!!!! |

hehehehehehe whatsupguys: If I was in a position to advice the company I would say they should just take the 80. You know why? They retire people every year, recruit fresh graduates maybe one in seven years. For the purpose of sustainability they need a lot of people considering factors like possible attrition, sack, deaths etc in order to create organisational/generational balance. I assume majority of the people there have almost worked a decade of their professional life. They shouldn't just look at the ball from one angle, its a round one with a caveat. |

Oil price cannot go below 20 $/bbl. That's my take. Because even at just higher than 20 $/bbl, it becomes uneconomical to produce in quite a lot of countries! Twill probably hover just above 25 $/bbl for a while... |

Bruv there has been no such e-mail about cancellation. Ya'll should be mindful of the kind of information you spread. CHM11: Dear NLNG Recruitment team,
In response to your earlier mail that you will be cancelling the graduate trainee recruitment, i am hereby writing to inform you of the following: 1. i do not accept your apology because as a first tier in the industry, you should have predicted all these anomalies and prepare.
2. i dont want your reimbursement anymore because the dollar equivalent will be almost peanut today as compared to 2 years ago. Yes i deal in dollars now.
3. lastly, please inform your RA maintanance team to put a pool near my flat as i will be resuming on the 1st of March, 2016....
see you on 01/03/2015 Best regards, CHM11. |

60% did you say? Where is the rest of the 40%? and you use Vatican as an example, add kingdom of Lesotho as well ... very funny. It is known as Vatican city and the other is kingdom of Lesotho. Yea right at not needing the SS. lol. You think the SS wants to go from being minority in Nigeria to minority in Biafra? lol Nwanna2588: Interesting seeing how you are confidently writing without knowing that such is in existence. Your proclivity to only limit your thinking to Nigeria is amazing! Go and check the map of Italy and locate Vatican City before you comment. By the way, do you think that Igbo land is limited to SE. SE is just 60% of Igbo land. |

Igbo's dont need SS? Really? and yet without them you do not have a boundary of your own as you are firmly within Nigeria... Think about it. Go have a look at the map of Nigeria. comrChris: Did you just say hopeless? like seriously what makes them hopeless or you are just being foolhardy, don't be surprise many of those you term hopeless might be doing far better than you even anybody in your family

l keep telling people that Igbo's don't really need you folks, don't know why some people are wasting time arguing with you miscreants here,we are making progress already and we will continue to progress while folks like you will to continue to hate

You all should go have a look at the map of Nigeria....
Can someone answer me this, is it possible to create a country within another country? How can there be Biafra within Nigeria when Delta, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Cross Rivers, Benue and Rivers States surround and ensure that the SE is bordered all around within Nigeria?
How can you have a country within another country?
So even if the SE were to becomes a country, they are surrounded on all sides by Nigeria! How does this work? |

Very interesting comments you make. lol. How do you form Biafra without the South South? Have you looked at the map of Nigeria? How do you form a country within another country? Come to think of it are you sure Biafra is not in need of the oil the South South has to offer? LordNicvuitton: Sweetmelon, Look at how u foolishly displayed your deep seated hatred for a tribe that doesn't give a flying Bleep about you.. change your ways dear.
Back 2 d topic, I keep saying it that the argument Igbos make with our south-south neighbours about this biafra ish, makes it seem as if the igbos are desperately in need of them..
Fact is that Igbos don't need south-south to secede. Igbos have never needed them anytime in history, so pls stop giving them the avenue to feel important.
Cc: tonyebarcanista, sweetmelon, nduchucks and who ever cares to know, pls read my lips: "Igbos like me have never wished for any south-south state to be part of biafra if at all there is biafra in the future, the south-south has never been richer or more intelligent or hardworking than its south-east neighbour, so please we truly don't need the south-south, thank you!.. |
