Well asides from the basic pay, I hear there are a couple of pecks like accommodation allowance that runs into about a million and a couple of other stuffs.

The coy is relatively new and they are looking for those with experience, ppl who have something to offer to the growth and development of the coy.
I knw ppl who left Shell and Chevron to join SEPLAT and they bag home monies in the range of 2-4 million per month based on their experience ( am talking 10 years plus) The GT guys earn between 200-250k per month. Incase u tink dats not big enof for a GT position, tink abt d platform it provides to get first-hand industry experience in the upstream sector. I hope that helps.

I want to know your opinion. If you had the opportunity to ask about the Assessment centre from a current NLNG staff, what questions will you ask?

I would ask:

1. How many were invited for the AC, and how many would be given the final offer;
2. What are the basic duties and responsibilities expected from an NLNG engineer in the first 1 year;
3. what format will the AC take;
4. When will medicals be conducted and when is the expected resumption date;
5. what are the prospects for growth and development working in NLNG; In addition
6. How much is the expected gross pay .

Kindly give feedback.

It is good to see everyone trying to give this thread a kick in the butt and get it going once again. Now we must know what it feels like to be in the Big brother house when the show is approaching the finale with the camaraderie gone and everyone just hanging around. Now we must act as a unit and push over the line. Truth be told, I am over the specified age by a couple of years but I swear down I am ready to dig in and fight with all my might. I may have deprived someone who is within the age limit and equally qualified but remember when "If you are good, you are good"was trending? I am not good but STRONGLY believe in practise practise practise; for this is the only way a boxer keeps his reflexes razor sharp.

So I beseech you all to chip in a little bit on how we can all make our AC. I have got an ebook "How to Succeed at an Assessment Centre" published by Kogan Page. If you are interested quote me. I will respond to all requests by 1700hrs today 11/08/2014. Requests beyond this date wont be answered o!
