am nt crazy for govt job lik u might hav tot. stipend apart,dis internship has offered me chance to add to my technical skills at no cost as i had approached a firm similar to my employer firm b4 where dey asked me to pay 80k 4 dt same internship. engineering graduates will understand beta d role of experience in getting job. waiting 4 any govt to give job may cost one to spend more yrs than dt man beside bethsida water. acquistion of skills is d key to get total freedom frm unemployment. how i wish had known my employer since 2012! dis govt once removed subsidy in 2012 and i was among d critics of dt idea and if dey hav done smth else dt is good then dey deserve commendatn for it. i still wanna repeat my words dt a bird at hand is far beta dan thousands in d forest.

lemme share d feeling of a frd who got his training allowance on monday. he said he was just praying 4 d portrait of GEJ in bank frm d bottom of his heart as he waka enter bank to cash his doe.
what a good thing to know election has been postponed and it is now time to travel to collect pvc to decide on march 28. afterall some haters of GEJ in southwest here cud only provide 10k worth job for graduates and dey were promising more of dt kind job if dey get to d centre. whether enough or not enough,a bird at hand is better than thousands of bird in d forest.
i hope january alert plus training alawi follow soon

ALL OUTSTANDING PAYMNTS FOR INTERNS NOT PAID FOR ANY MONTH FROM JANUARY TO DECEMBER 2014 SHOULD BE SENT USING THE ATTACHED FORM
(OUTSTANDING STIPEND CLAIM FORM) only to finance@gisurep.gov.ng

To complete the online timesheet, you are requested to:
1)        Logon to the website  http://gis-tool.wyesurep.gov.ng/ with your
registered email and password (PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU USE THIS LINK AS THE FORMER LINK MAY NOT WORK)
2)        On your home page, scroll down the page and accept all the interns
hired in your firm and enter the start date for each intern. (If not done
for interns attached to your firm already)
3)        Then go to Timekeeping/Feedback at the top right corner of the page
4)        Select each intern and enter the GIS UBA NUBAN Account Number for the
intern (If you have entered the account number for the previous month of
June, disregard as it is already captured and stored against the Intern)
5)        Fill the timesheet calendar by select ONLY the days for which intern
has worked
6)        Save the filled timesheet
a.        Go back to Employer Timekeeping

7)        Repeat steps 5 to 6 for each intern hired in your firms/organization
        Go back to your home page and click "submit pending timesheets" to
submit all timesheets entered for the month for all the interns. And to
submit NOVEMBER 2014 completed outstanding likewise

YOU MUST COMPLETE ALL THE TIMESHEET FOR INTERNS BEFORE YOU SUBMIT TO THE PIU
This shall be procedure to be followed for time sheet returns.

PLEASE NOTE: TIMESHEET IS TO SENT ON OR BEFORE 1st- 6th FEBRUARY, 2015 FAILURE TO SEND THE TIMESHEET ON OR BEFORE DATE WILL LEAD TO DELAYED PAYMENT.
 
PLEASE DISREGARD IF HAVE NOT MATCHED/HIRED ANY INTERN WITH THE GRADUATE INTERNSHIP SCHEME

. I have no been able to submit for dec but done with january so I called surep line to explain and they told me to tell my employer to send my acct no,reg code,organisation name etc, which I have done I just hope they are able to pay me dec and jan,so why not call them too.

I understand the fact that dealing with Human beings is one huge task, and you can NEVER get everyone pleased. I came to this thread because I wanna help as many people as I could, not Necessarily to help with Fresh Matching, Re-match, Invitation to Internship Fair or Stipend issues, just to encourage and offer guide with my extensive knowledge of the scheme. Like I have always stated, I am not a SURE-P GIS personnel in any capacity, just someone who wants to offer a little help. I have an unenviable daily schedule but I still find out time to reply to over 30 SURE-P GIS-related emails that I receive daily, on the email address I use to contact interns, these emails are wholly from peeps on this thread. I have directly helped over 300 graduates get engaged in this scheme (Mainly outside this thread) either by initial Matching or by Re-match, so I believe I have earned a bragging right on this if I should desire one. I have NEVER asked for or solicited for any monetary/non monetary gift from any of these over 300 interns, but have come to value the lots of good-wishes messages that I have received. Only a handful of persons out of these number of interns have my Mobile number or my main email address, and NONE of these over 300 interns is directly related to me. I have on numerous occasions contacted companies, begged them to absorb interns, and got interns matched with them. In a short-while, I would cease to login in here to check this thread knowing that I have done my bit. I CANNOT possible help everyone here even if I wanted to. I do not consider prospective interns state of Origin, Tribe, Gender or any other factor before assisting them. I write this not necessarily in reply to the comments I have quoted here but more like to bare some facts. I have stated here earlier that I do not have new companies that I can match fresh interns with, so I have purposely ignored comments asking for fresh matches without providing company details for the matching. I am deeply grateful that I have helped a few persons here who have boldly stated so. Having attended many of the SURE-P GIS events, I know that this scheme, as little as the stipend is, offers a lot of persons Hope, experience and money to move on until such a time something better will come along. I met graduates who were earning N10,000, N15,000 monthly prior to this scheme. One of the first guys that I matched here, mailed me a week after the matching to explain to me why he stated on this thread "that his survival depended on this scheme". I urge some of you that feel that the money is too small for you, to know that you could get Good contacts, Permanent Employment, Knowledge, Experience etc from this scheme. I do not have anything against anyone who criticizes me here, I can only say that I have done the best I could do so far with my limited time and resources. I wish you all the Best. One Love. See your mouth, he has said on this forum that he is not even a staff of surep,just relate that to what you have said,he is trying to help without compensation irrespective of his tight schedule and not being a direct staff, can you do that even if you know surep director, is he the cause of your problem, why not try surep customers care numbers and see how easy is it to solve your problem,abeg pack well.

I have never had any problem with SURE-P as i get my stipends as at when due.. Yet, i still appreciate the work dis guy is doin here. As if u can do 0.16% of it Rubbish
