We have always been very consistent on our view about Nigeria...we know it cannot work in its present contraption unlike the East and north who are one day pro-Nigeria and another pro secessionists as it suits them. But we also know now is not the best time to bell the cat and in the meantime...we will make the best out of a bad situation. Most yorubas will gladly jump at an Oduduwa Republic and we have everything to become a very successful nation...intellect...weather...vegetation...mineral resources...homogenous population...access to the sea...oil...industry....history....rich tradition....tourism.....education...excetera. The rest of Nigeria knows that when and if we decide to pull out...the end becomes nigh for Nigeria. To hell with this lop-sidedness....

The problem is that this same man is not consistent. One minute he is for the present inoperable system and next minute when his position is weakened, he is for regionalism but having said that, this is the right way to go about Biafra. Like someone else pointed out, it took Britain at least twenty five years before they called a referendum on whether to leave the European Union or stay within it. Same goes for Scotland. Let Biafra supporters get real and get their ideological backers into positions of power and then move towards their ultimate goal. Not all these myopic chest beating which we all know will not get them anywhere.

The govt needs to SINCERELY get to the root of this matter. All i hear is Fulani killing people here and there as if they have not been living in Peace and harmony prior. Also, the media barely reported the killing of 5 keke riders in Enugu about three weeks ago. Yes, there are armed robbers amongst fulani herdsmen robbing and killing people that should be arrested and if found guilty of armed robbery, executed, but there are also innocent fulani's that are killed by others (check out youtube video of the agatu's burning fulani's alive) and those ones are not reported but the reprisals are reported. So, Yes Govt needs to be fair and just and bring ALL the guilty to TRUE JUSTICE.

Unless you have proof that there is more to these stories then it is best you do not suggest this is so. I am totally appalled by the lack of action by the security services against these criminals. I am appalled that these people are allowed to openly carry weapons even though we know it is constitutionally illegal. Or what have Yorubas achieved collectively since the 60s cos pictures of all Yoruba states, apart from Lagos aren't nothing to be proud of. Then almost all the states are heavily indebted and it is only going to get worse due to how bankrupt Nigeria is right now.

Anyway, there are tons of Yorubas out there who wouldn't mind donating in whatever capacity to the Biafran cause, if Igbos can develop a proper strategy that won't alienate those in the South and maintain territorial integrity. Igbos need to start reaching out cos apart from the cows and cow jockeys feasting on free grass in the zoo - the country is a disaster.
