texazzpete:I am talking about the reason why some countries in OPEC took this decision and i never talked about its effect on the country. I get what you are saying but passing your rage on me would change nothing. Is it my fault that our government policy is short sighted. Very soon the demand for oil would be very low then what would our future be like. It is high time we start doing something different from oil to generate revenue. |
Funny enough most people here don't know the reason why OPEC had agreed to allow the price of oil remain low but would rather just speak anyhow. They agreed not to reduce production because they don't want Americas shale oil to be profitable which would be profitable at 100 dollars, thereby making America and others abandon their long time plan for shale oil. It would affect some OPEC country but the strategy is to make sure that OPEC nation would continue to be the major oil bloc in the world. |
With the way OPEC is divided i don't see the price of oil going up soon. It seems i would have to write why i made this statement. |
I watched it too and with the kind of evidence they got on those fake dudes, if they are not sentenced "well na Naija anything fit happen." But if the case gets to a competent judge, they would be found guilty. Imagine one saying he schooled in Bulgaria why practicing at a condemned location, re-using both syringe, needles but could not produce any document to show for it. This is the kind of journalism our journalist should get involved with instead of gossips. |
candy:I definitely would follow the work. It really captivated me. |
This is a very interesting piece but why must most Nigerians believe in the mystical art. |
ok o. This is serious. Next year eh. Lets just watch and see. |
Yes. More power to more people, less power to a few, it would also increase people participation in politics. But it would not work at the initial stage, but with time it would start growing as a better form of government. |
A lot of the very wealthy guys in the world have a moral rating of zero. They mainly use their scholarship scheme as image booster but it is better than doing nothing. I am certain sir Emeka is no saint but giving out scholarship is not bad. |
It is not Jewish, but the annoying thing is the common Northerner in the street would believe what their elites say because they are not enlightned. The Elites in the North are the ones destroying their people for their own gain or would you tell me this guy said something this inciteful out of ignorance. |
neoapocalypse:Na lie, Hitler did worse. Experimenting with humans no exclusion, summary executions and so many. In the animal world Humans are the most aggressive to his specie. |
true talk. What is their own policy to counter the president policy. Then we would know that they are serious. |
Civil disobedience. How would this action improve Nigeria, why are they protesting. |
WE ARE OUT; NOTHING LIKE BEST LOOSERS FOR US |
DRC Congo has 9 point. We are out o |

we are out o. Congo is leading with a goal. |
Either this guy has been acting Godly or the people opposed to him want him out of the equation. Something must had happen. You can't just pick up a random person then start beating him. I feel some main details are hidden and i won't be surprise if by tomorrow Tompolo denies this allegation. The politics going on in that area presently is becoming dangerous and they either de-escalate the tension there or be ready to face a full blown crisis. I feel they should change the name of that plant to a neutral name for peace to reign. |
I understand that oro is cultural, but do you guys support their barbaric and inhuman acts(ritual killings). Culture is dynamic, no matter what, somethings that are not relevant would phase out whether you like it or not. Probably, if Mary had not been to calabar, they might still be practicing their twin killing custom. I feel it is high time Nigeria stop letting all this attrocities happen in the name of culture. If a crime is committed, somebody must pay for that crime. |
That is why i am saying that if Nigeria should break my immediate village would become a country of its own. Even in my small village of three communitties, they still contest for the ownership of land, talkless of larger communitties. I think i like the way the federal government is handling the situation with caution. We don't need all this sectorial violence. |
Igbos are not jews o. Igbo culture pre-dates the compiled bible. Igbo's have their dynamic way same as other tribes. |
I read "their was a country" and honestly i fell in love with that work. It was a delightful read for me. I would recommend the book to those who haven't read it. It wasn't an ethnic book has most critics painted it. It was more about his life. |
ok o. But you know that it is still open to argument. |
Larriekay:Ok. But don't do things to others that you don't want others to do to you. Same as do things to others that you want others to do to us. My humble opinion. What if her Children are on Nairaland, so you think they would not defend their mum. |
Larriekay:ok. But it is wonderful to insult the president wife (someone's mum). I don't do insult but the way that guy replies all those who would gladly insult an elderly woman just because they feel she is not fluent in her gramma is nice. |
Collynzo9:I agree with you to an extent in terms of him loosing his life. That was why he relocated but he his fed up with the situation of life he his presently facing 'economically'. It is easier for us with no viable investment in the north to curse those people with investments there for not leaving. Just try to imagine yourself in their situation. |
I know a trader when he was in the North he makes nothing less than 300K in profit in a month, but right now he relocated to PH and honestly in a month he makes about 50k. Remember he has family, responsibility and the last time i saw him, he was already fully prepare to return back there. You guys don't know the power of Economics and buisness. USA and CHINA today have a big ideological difference, but do you think they would risk a big war that would affect their investment. Same as Russia and EU, OP i understand your plight and i wish you well but always be alert. UDO |
