Nigeria is a messed up place, funny enough the two tribes that think they are smart are the dumbest(yoruba and IGBO), right from the beginning, they always fall for external manipulation. To me, the Fulanis know what they want and they know how to get it and they would always dominate because the so called literate people think they are wise but they are absolutely dumb. It pains me most when i read or hear this tribal stupidity from people who were born blank. I know it would never stop, but i have taken a stand that i would never allow anybody use me to his own gain in the name of tribalism, all i want is success and a very happy life and i would do everything to have it.

Most Nigerians going to Malaysia are mostly scammers, even the one returning from there have no positive thing doing in that Country. I have always defended Nigeria anytime Yahoo issue is reported in western media. We are not the major scam country but some Nigerians only depend on this as their main source of income. I think that it would be catastrophic for the federal government to stop it. You all know why, it brings in cash into the economy, takes alot of jobless youth out of local crimes like armrobbery, to an extent it reduces the pressure on government to come up with a better alternative. On the other side, it erodes our morals. I was sitting with a guy of 30 and he was praising a boy of 14 because the boy was able to buy his xmas cloths and also for his siblings, he also bought home theatre for the family. He said when he was at that age he would not have been able to think that was possible. I am totally against Yahoo scam, but if there is no viable alternative, this practice would continue.

I totally disagree with your view. When marrying, you are marrying from that communitty and family. You know that traditional marriage rite is the main marriage ceremony in Nigeria followed by your court marriage before your white wedding. If you talked about eliminating white wedding, that is understandable. Very soon you guys would have a conference on why Africa should be speaking its local languages since it tend to bring disunity or why must we be named Ngozi, Ade, Musa instead of western names like john, Luke, jane.

Western criticism is always one sided, supporting their own interest. Nigeria does not have the capability they have and still they themself have not defeated Terrorism. Imagine sponsoring a Terrorist group in Syria(giving them weapons), they later turn back to attack Iraq and you want to fight the same group you are still supplying weapon. Nigerian government on its own part as not done enough to stop this menance but the west should know that for them to criticize other government, they should lead by example. We want Peace, but it seems like a fairy tale.

I read the full write up on washingtonpost, i liked the part where he said he would submit a bill to the UN inother for all country to share intelligence on terrorism. Mr. President, up your game and i believe Nigeria would grow during your administration.

seriously. Most Nigerians really don't care about wild life conservation. Do you know what it means to have such wonderful exotic creature. Many a times we see opportunities to succeed and we destroy as a result of ignorance. Do you know how many people would have loved to see this creature if it were to be caught alive and preserved. Seriously, i know that most people here on nairaland would go contrary to my thinking and that is why we have few people controls the wealth of everybody because they don't think the way the majority reason. I am not a lover of snakes but i believe this snake would have served our ecology better when alive than dead and to correct some sterotype there snakes do everything possible to aviod humans and i hope nobody bought that snake because it would spell doom for the remaining population.
