Hey Nairalanders, am here again to seek for assistance, heading to Soest (Fachhochschule Sudwesfalen) on Tuesday 30/10/2018 and don't have a place to stay. I need a contact person for accommodation, or any vacant room for rent. I will really appreciate a quick response from you guys.

My own journey also started April 2018.
Got admission letter 25th June after I deferred the it from 2017 because of no available visa appointment date from the embassy.
Appointment date 20th September which went very well and anxiety of a response from the embassy begins to kick in.
AM 19th October, submitted passport 22nd October
Visum: Today 26th October.
School: South Wesfalen University, Soest.

It's finally out. AM is out today after 4 weeks of waiting and praying.
Interview date on the 20th September 2018, funded BA before interview. AM 19th October 2018. It has been Baba God all the way.

Both. Mailed the alien office last week Friday and I've not got anything from them. But mailed the embassy on Monday. So, I guess the embassy first and if they say the alien office has not responded, then contact the alien office.

Have you sent mail to them requesting for an update. I did mine on 20th also. My enrollment deadline is also 31st. I Mailed them Monday morning and got my AM in the afternoon. Please do that also if you've not done so. You never can tell

Please who did you mail, is it the embassy or the alien office?

My interview was on the 20th Sept too and still waiting for AM from the embassy.

Someone using BA got his AM last Wednesday.
There's no specific duration, if you are using SL it will take a longer time than BA.
Request for enrollment extension or proxy enrollment.

Thanks for the quick response, I used BA for my interview which has been blocked. I also submitted an enrollment extension letter during my interview at the embassy. Just staring at my email for an update from the embassy all day long is not helping at all.

Hey guys, am just posting for the 1st time and av been following the trend for a while now. I did my interview on the 20th September 2018 and its almost 4 weeks and my university deadline is 31st October 2018. I just wanna know if anyone who did his/her interview on the 20th September 2018 has gotten a mail or a call from the German embassy in Lagos. The intense waiting is not funny at all. Please a speedy response will be much appreciated.
