Obj fraud is being addressed. Why would it be awarded to a company not financially capable and why was the concession neccessary when he ordered all tollgate to be demolished years back when he introduced fuel tax and that the proceeds will be used to repair the roads nationwide. Msheww |
FG Terminates Contract With Bi-Courtney Over Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Concession The Federal government Monday terminated the concession agreement it had with Bi-Courtney Consortium over the Lagos-Ibadan Express way more than three years after it was awarded. In its place, the federal government has engaged the services of construction giants, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc and RCC Nigeria Ltd to carry out emergency reconstruction of the road. This announcement was made by Minister of Works, Arc. Mike Onolememen who said that adequate measures were taken to ensure that the federal government abided by all its contractual obligations. However the termination became necessary according to him because of the “serial breaches of the concession agreement by Bi-Courtney Consortium and especially the failure of the company to reach financial close as provided for in the agreement”. |
I need information on the profitability or viability of running this danfo business too. |

When others are sitting, I shall be standing. When others are standing, I shall be outstanding. When others are outstanding, I shall stand out. When others stand out, I shall be the standard. |
They attacked THISDAY to prove that there is no DAILY TRUST for security. THE NATION is in fear, no confidence in the LEADERSHIP of our land. We know we have a GUARDIAN who is also our VANGUARD. We believe in our God despite the PUNCH on our faces and as the DAILY SUN rises, so our God shall rise against them, He will hunt them until they confess to be NEW NIGERIAN(s). Gentlemen of d press God is our TRIBUNE. |

Now we are breeding children who live in their home country and cannot speak their native language&are strange to their own culture. We impose the white man language, tradition&way of life on them so they will prefer to be what they are not. We tell them everything African is inferior and evil. Our food, our religion, our dress, our place of birth etc are local and inferior. Wake up Africa! We are selling our heritage into 2nd slavery! Hmmn, what hope do this next generation have? They are on the verge of losing their Identity! |

Dears, I love it when words are craftly put together to rhyme or make some sense. I start with below. Add yours. I hate People who BRAG,wear RAGS,who NAG and call it SWAG.... You make me CHOKE on my COKE with your JOKE... If you are not GRATEFUL to God,you a GREAT FOOL..... No matter the amount of weed the devil takes to get HIGH,he can never be the MOST HIGH.... |
Ours is a divided nation. Even fifty something years together as a country has not changed anything about our integration or orientation. |
India never forgot Mahatma Gandhi as they made his children Indian Presidents after him, South Africa never forgot Nelson Mandela as he was made president after 27 years in jail for his country, America never forgot their democracy heros i.e JF Kennedy,Roosevelt,Lincoln etc Nigeria seems to have forgotten so soon what MKO Abiola symobolises just 19 years after. Is UNILAG name change too much to sacrifice for MKO? All of us(including pple saying no now) came out to reject the injustice meted to MKO in 1993 and 1998 when he died. We have forgotten so soon? If the name was changed in 1999 would we have rejected it? WALAHI! Nigeria is not worth dying for........ |
What is the yardstick to measure this performance? Project execution,Leadership style, revenue generation etc or what? |
I used to hate Maths too until i failed it in my first attempt in WAEC,I had P8 and I wanted to study engineering. I knew i had no choice than to pass it and I went into it headon and demystified it. I now found out that what I had was just unrealistic fear. I did not only passed it,I taught people maths and also studied engineering in higher institution. The origin of phobia for maths is the foundation created by our elementary teachers, mine started from primary 1 when my class teacher used to be very harsh and impatient in impacting the knowledge. |
