DOGARA TO COMMISSION ROADS, OTHER PROJECTS IN ABA written by Our Reporter May 26, 2017 UMOBILE_600X90B Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, will tomorrow, visit Aba, Abia State, to commission roads, water and other projects attracted to the city by the member representing Aba North/Aba South federal constituency, Hon. Ossy Prestige. Inspecting some of the projects in Aba, the lawmaker stated that the Speaker who would be accompanied by other members of the House, will commission the ongoing Ohanku road and Garden Avenue, a three classroom block at Etche road Primary School, as well as over 20 water bore holes which are part of his constituency projects. The lawmaker disclosed that he has graded over 150 roads, empowerment and skill acquisition, home and oversea scholarship for students across the state. He explained that the Ohanku road and classroom block projects are being handled by the Federal Ministry of Works, Power and Housing, Abuja, stressing that the Speaker will also inaugurate a free legal aid programme to assist indigent members of his constituency who can’t afford the services of a lawyer. “The commissioning of the projects would mark my two years in office. During my electioneering, I promised the people that Aba must be fixed. In the past two years, we have done a lot in thanking Aba people for their support during the election. You have seen some of the thing we have been doing in road and water projects. Last week, we launched a free school bus to take our students to school. “It is a way of helping parents reduce the burden of paying transport for their children, weekly. I remember how they stood by men when the result of the election was being collated, ensuring that their votes counted. We are going to do more to ensure that Aba is fixed.” ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Does anyone have an update on what Enugu state representatives are bringing to Enugu state? |
omooba969:Your greatest problem is the ability to comprehend...Obviously, I can't open up your brain to put stuff...Why do I need to ask Ironis...when you stated the point we are talking about? Its like going to Awo grave to ask Awo why he killed millions of children to please his masters up north so he could become the president...? ...and that dream went with him six feet deep..., hu? ![]() |

omooba969:You are the loser and treacherous chameleon here...What sensible people are saying is that any policy can be changed as time evolve...but slavish people will cling to it to make a useless point. Do you see us blaming OBJ for carving oil producing communities from Imo to River state and from southern states to Ondo in SW...No...As we know this would be corrected in due time.We don't dwell on it to make a political point... Even at that, what is your gain in the unitary system...If your SW had a true federal system, Lagos city will not be as shown in this pic...Amobode would have done it since... So why are gloating?
|
clevadani:Can you read the main post we are reacting to and come back or you just woke up from a night of booze with pork meat and started typing... ..but to answer you...though off point...I prefer my own country... |
EvilMetahuman:Did we attack you tiger claw faces, for your problems with your obas...No. But you attack us for not attacking our leaders. You meddle in issues that don't concern you...That is the problem between the Igbos and the loud-mouthed Afonjas...No other tribe does it then you brown roofers!!!
|
omooba969:Going by your logic, Ironsi MUST be your god and the god of NIGERIA...Nobody including the "sufferisticated" brown roof niggas can dare change his policy, 50 years later...Kiss the truth, now... |
victorDanladi:Typical of afonja free education rant...whatever that means... Afonja-Ilorin slave...look harder at the pic and you will see....who is the master...I just called my gate man to view and he wasn't in any doubt!!!

omooba969:Look at this man...caught how? Even if he changed it, how does that matter? What effect does it have to the polity ever since?. How long was he in power? 6months...and so it will remain forever? Did he also create the 36 states...? Please check yourself for inborn treachery...which your people are known for...
|
omooba969:Can you list his aides...? Do they represent our diversity...? Now list the aide of your god Buhari...and cover you tiger claw face in shame... |

fulanimafia:You have a leaking brain...why didn't the past governments do it? OBJ was there for 8 years. SE gave him 90% of their votes...Why must GEJ do it for 6 years...? Just check and see if you are rational... |

The Yorubas are mischievous and always looking for trouble even when none exist..Have you asked yourself, why Igbos don't attack the Ijaws, the Hausa, the Kanuris, the Tivs, the Fulanis, the Gwaris, etc, etc...? If Yoruba mind their business then all will be fine...When Igbos complain of being marginalized (which is a common FACT!), guess which tribe that deceitfully and treacherously tries to say it is not the case? The YORUBA of course... I have never seen an Igbo person unhaappy that the federal government built the Lagos 3rd mainland bridge...but I have seen tons of YORUBAS unhappy for the Enugu airport and others gloating about the 2nd Niger bridge...Mister, I can go on and on and on...to tell why the YORUBAS are the problem.... |
clevadani:You don't have any brain..in order words you are intellectually deficient....See why? If Igbos recall every person home, will that stop the federal government to continue their business as usual...like deciding cut off marks in federal schools, state which region to get federal investments like rail and road and other infrastructure, etc,etc....So you see why your suggestion is very childish... |
I am still waiting for IPOBExposed, Sarrki and the Afonja Muslims to tag this man an IPOB youth..

A FORMER Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, retd, has lamented that all was not well with Nigeria, noting that the implementation of the proposals made in the 2014 Confab report would engender peace and unity in the country. General Yakubu Gowon (Rtd) He also called for a review of the country’s federal system in order to achieve stability and harmony. Speaking at Araya, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State during the third session of the Sixth Synod of Oleh Diocese of the Anglican Communion, Gowon noted that the provision of grazing reserves would not put an end to the menace of herdsmen across the country. Represented by a former Minister of Information and Culture, Prof Jerry Gana, Gowon, who spoke on the theme: Winning Together said the 2014 confab had the best responses to the problems bedevilling Nigeria. His words:”Given the numerous cultural, political and historical diversities within the country, only a federal structure can provide a sustainable basis for our living in peace, security, and harmony. “To function well, our federal structure must be fair, balanced, equitable and functional. The federating units must be strong enough. “Beyond the issue of the fundamental structure of the federation in terms of the centre and federating units, we must agree together on the devolution of power from the centre to the federating units. This is the heart of the demand for restructuring. “Beyond this, we must also justly and fairly resolve the very contentious issue of fiscal federalism especially in matters of revenue mobilization and resource ownership and control. The matter of who gets what, where and how much is everywhere in the world very fundamental. You cannot wish it away. Look at it now and resolve it justly, clearly and equitably so that we can live together in peace. “We asked for the kind of good leadership that produces good governance. Restructuring alone cannot do it. Proper allocation of resources cannot do it alone. We need good leadership because resources have to be used wisely, properly and with accountability. “ Stressing the need for government to give top priority to matters of community peace and security, he said grazing reserves was not the answer to the menace of herdsmen. Meanwhile, the Bishop of the Diocese, Rt Rev John Aruakpor presented the Diocesan Prestigious Award of Honour to 13 persons in appreciation of their contribution to the development of the Isoko nation. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/05/implementation-confab-report-can-save-nigeria-gowon/

Liar...brother of uncle lie lie Mohammed... re you telling me that the 2nd Niger Bridge, SE roads will be as they are now if we had gone 50 years ago? That we will not harness out coal and gas resource for a stable power supply? That Biafra wouldn't have emulated and be at per with Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore by now? That our spiritual capital Enugu wouldn't have been like Lagos, with foreign embassies and multilateral institutions? That our youths won't have been employed in Biafra Army, Police, immigration, Navy, National Guard, attaining any post unlike they are being treated in Nigeria? That Biafra wouldn't have been selling arms to Nigeria and other African countries, etc, etc...Pastors shouldn't be lying...We are clearly worse of in Nigeria...with no federal investment in the region for 50 years...
|
victorDanladi:...and this picture didn't show the mothers of brown roofers, skull miners with their...fine dresses....hu

ipodstinks:Does picture lie? Please stop spitting about... |
victorDanladi:What are these hungry looking, poverty stricken, sudan-afonja women doing?
|
kogistar:Swear say you no enjoy the musical flow.... |
fiizznation:Most people agreed that Nigeria is not working? From the north to the West and the East. Are you better than Balarebe Musa, Ango Abdullahi and NEF? You have been leeching on other people to survive since 1914 and you are not satisfied...If Niger and Chad can survive why wouldn't you survive. |
banmee:"...It is not the responsibility of the FG to develop states but that of the state itself..." When they tell you to go to school, you prefer collecting toll on the streets...If FG doesn't develop state why is part of the heart of Lagos like this...Just accept you don't know your left from your right..ask people if you don't know...
|
waledeji:...afonjas, skull miners and brown roofers will be like this right now.

Behold, the solution to Nigeria's problem in the map. See map... You can call it confederation or whatever...The regions who think they want merge can do as it pleases them...There shall be distinct border demarcation...Let every people manage themselves, with their resources...If a particular region likes corruption, so shall it be...If a region wants to generate power and sell to the others so shall it be...If a region wants to destroy their oil and gas pipelines, so shall it be, if a region wants to invest in education, so shall it be, if a region wants to get foreign loans to build their rail system, so shall it be...if they want to build their roads and bridges so shall it be, etc, etc... It hurts development and growth for the huge country to manage itself...as currently constituted...where every decision comes from Abuja...
