Webmasters / Round 2: The User Wey Dey Craze Visited 9jaboizgist.com.ng- The Re-review by Copycracker(m): 9:51am On May 14, 2017
So you want re-review ehh?

Well, we are here again.

A review you asked for. A review you shall get.

I honestly don't remember all I told you in my first review (yes, I don't.. I've seen too many sites over the past few months, don't be angry ehh) so I'm gonna approach this like I haven't reviewed your site before.

Are you ready?

Let's begin.

I. Design And Layout

Wow. I don't remember your previous design, but I have a strong feeling that this right here is light years better.

The background image has this techie-feel that makes me feel at home immediately. And a quick scan through your home page makes me feel as though I may have nothing to tell you (which is a good thing), but I still noticed a few... ahem.

(i) Your menu at the top of the page

Hmm... while it's good you have it, could you please esplain to me why you haff hay sitemap hin your primary menu?

And when we click on it, it takes us to a page that confuses us.

Here's a rule of thumb to remember- If you have to create a site map for visitors to use your site, then you're doing it wrong.

Your site is supposed to be user-friendly. Having to use a site map to understand your site = not user friendly.

Get my drift? Good.

Remove that Site Map thing in your menu, and add some categories (I see you haff plenty categories, some of which, could just be tags, but we'll come to that later)

Take Site map out, put some categories in.

(ii) Your site Title

While it doesn't rep your brand, it gives us a heads up as to what your site is about, which is a good thing.

I prefer it should have your brand name, but with a name like 9jaboizgist, I can see why you went with that.

(iii) Your Tagline

It starts off great, but it seems like you were trying to put too much in there so some of it got cut off.

Make it simpler- "9jaboiz gist keeps you updated on latest news in technology, business and the mobile world".

See how much sweeter that is?

Dem man dem fit get diabetes from that.

(iv) That blue bar below your tagline is for your primary nav menu.

Why is it not there?

That blue bar is one of the prominent parts of your header. Instead of leaving it blank, use it to display your primary nav menu.

(v) P.S. I love the social media icons displayed both at the top right of your page and in the left side bar. You haff been reading my reviews abi? cheesy

Let's just hope they actually lead somewhere... but we'll come to that later.

(vi) The Featured Slider

Everybody loves a good featured slider.

It catches our eyes and we want to see what image comes next.

Most of your images are great, except they all seem to be about tech. Try to get some that shows something related to business and mobile phones, and why in God's name do you have an image of I-Robot?

Take it out. You're not a movie review site (or are you?).

Overall, great images.

The words below the images though are a problem. They're all generic, saying either thank you or we love to see you here or share our posts on Facebook.

Please... Please... We just got to your site and you're talking plenty instead of telling us you have what we came for.

Imagine if you went to Shoprite and the security man kept telling you "Welcome to Shoprite", "We are happy to see you here", "Share our shop with your friends"... BEFORE YOU EVEN HAD A CHANCE TO SHOP OR PLACE AN ORDER!

At some point, you wee tell him "Bros, free me now!"

Exactly.

It's better to have the text beneath each feature image, tell them something about the image or about your different categories that your visitors will be interested in.

Never forget- Users don't care about you. They care about what you can give them if they give you their time and attention.

So all that "senrenre" there now is unnecessary.

Let them know you got what they want... you got what they need (I'm doing the dutty whine right now as I remember that song... no, not really)

Sha... straight to the point, no long thing.

(vii) I see you went with a 3 column layout... I haven't seen a lot of those, but when I visited your site, there was way too much action there for me.

It's like everything's screaming for attention and I don't know where to click.

I don't know where to click = I was confused.

I think I should have written this as a commandment of Usability for web design:

"Thou shalt not confuse the visitor"

Say it with me.

"THOU SHALT NOT CONFUSE THE VISITOR!"

Again!

Got it?

Good.

But then again, This User Dey Craze, so if you'd prefer to stick with your 3 column layout (and confuse your users), I won't hold it against you.

Umm... sorry. Actually I will.

Because the 2 column layout is just way cleaner than this 3 column layout so yes I will vex for you.

The current 3 column thing you have... lemme mess with it now.

Why is that the tab on popular posts shows your Blog Archive, the one called Tags shows a follow by email field and the one called Blog Archives shows nothing?

Why are your Categories placed in the last column?

If you can give me a great answer that makes sense to an average user, then please keep the 3 column layout.

Otherwise, kick it the f out.

Wooo... you almost got me worked up.

So back to our 2 column layout. This format right here is tried and true.

- Search bar
- Popular posts
- Categories
- Subscribe box (which I didn't see prominently displayed... why?)
- Social Media links
- Archive

You can have an ad in between any section after the first 2, and Archives should actually be last... I think I prolly didn't say that on other reviews, but the fact is, the last thing a user wants to see when they get to your site is a big Archive of 100+ posts.

True Story.

Anyway, switch to a 2 column layout which would not only make your site cleaner and clearer, but it will also allow your main content section to show more prominently.

(viii) Your Footer

She looks good. Slap on a subscribe field, a search bar and categories, and she could be the next Agbani Darego.

II. Content

(i) Your headlines, for the most part, look great. Just make sure you look through them and ensure the benefit for reading (which I think I'll begin to call "BFR"wink is well communicated to the prospective reader.

Also try to be specific. Saying "5 Android Phones with the best battery life" is more powerful than saying "Android phones with the best battery life"

Overall, I give you salute.

(ii) Body

You see why I said a 2 column layout is better?

Here, it looks like your content is squished and forced to suffer, like our people that were packed like sardines and taken as slaves back in the day.

Your main content should not suffer because of your layout.

Fix that.

Because I couldn't even begin to try straining to see your content.

I was just like screw this. I scanned through and bounced.

And now, another commandment- "IN ALL THAT THOU DOEST, THOU SHALT ALWAYS MAKE IT EASY FOR THY VISITOR!"

Heed that.

(iii) Your social media icons are too tiny, they're almost invisible.

Fix that.

Oh, I just scrolled down and saw another set. Abeg, use just one, and let them be prominent, not very low on the page.

(iv) Your comment section is way way too low, grabbing for straws, drowning under a sea of related posts.

Just have 2 related posts displayed and let the comment section be higher up, so people who actually want to comment don't leave because they don't have the patience to look for a comment box.

III. Promotion

(i) If you haven't, you really need to do some SEO.

Your content looks helpful (I can't really say for sure cos I couldn't read it cos of your layout angry ) and you're writing content for your niche.

Now, you need to know exactly what words your target audience is using to talk about the topics you want to write on, and use that to create content that is easier for them to find.

That is the long and short of SEO.

Either learn how to do it yourself or hire someone who does.

(ii) Social Media

Now, let's look at your links:

Well, the good part is they link to a profile of some sort.

I would recommend that your facebook button link to a Facebook page or group for your website, rather than your profile.

Same with your Twitter.

Your linked in should have your photo and maybe something like Head Blogger at 9jaboizgist.com.ng

Your Google + is just...

Okay, I think a general rule to follow with social media is to start with a few if you're the one who has to manage those profiles. If you have a social media manager, then you can do all at once.

Make those changes and start engaging your audience... aiight?

IV. Goals And Other Issues

- What are you selling? I can't see that.

- Why should we come to your site instead of somewhere else? What is unique about your site?

- Why don't you have a prominent visible subscribe button anywhere on your site? You don't want us to subscribe ni?

For now, that's it... I think I have stepped up a lot from the last review I did for you.

Yay-me!

Self hi-five.

Abeg, hunger don cash me... Bye.

P.S. If you want me to review your site... abeg don't post it here. Post it here- https://www.nairaland.com/3765331/post-website-blog-here-get or else I wee not review it... hokay?

Webmasters / Hey, Ayodelejays. I, This User Wey Dey Craze , Haf Come To Your Domot- Thereview by Copycracker(m): 2:30pm On May 12, 2017
Greetings.... Greetings.. Occupants of AyodeleJays Blog.

Herald... Hark! Copycraker a.k.a. This User Dey Craze has arrived at your ... emm... "Domot"

Okay, I'm just having a bit of fun.

Why? Because these reviews will get tiresome quickly if I didn't. That's why.

Plus I keep seeing sites targeting the same niches and trying to do the same things that have already been done countless times before and I have to say the same things over and over.

Trust me. If I don't find a way to have fun, I wee close shop.

And AyodeleJays, this crazy user aff tire to see himitation (you know what I'm talking about, Linda? Ikeji? You've obviously heard about her, but we'll come to that later)... but no wahala, a review thou asked for... a review thou shalt receive.

I. Thy Design and Layout.

I canst swear that I hath seen thy blog design somewhere recently... Where wast it?

Ah.. I remembereth. Dost thou and Temolad blog share the same web developer (or theme)?

But that's another story.

It's an okay design, I feel it could be more flashy and yes, a bit of that "senrenre" will do thee good here.

By senrenre I mean, background image or anything that makes your theme look like you actually designed the template (as you claimed in your footer, but we'll get to that).

But that's just my own opinion though, as always, you're free to take it with a grain of salt, if you feel I must be crazy (and you won't be wrong cos I am cheesy ).

Now, enough play. Let's get serious.

(i). Site Title

For some reason, a lot of people feel the need to put up a "Welcome to....." in front of their Site Title.

That is absolutely unnecessary.

Here's an analogy to help you understand why.

When you go to a shop for example, Shoprite, how do you know you're there? Well, for one, there's always a huge crowd of people getting in and coming out. But how you actually know is you see the shop title- "SHOPRITE" in white letters on a red background.

Websites are basically like that. Users are coming to shop for information, entertainment, news, products, etc.

Telling them Welcome to AyodeleJaysBlog doesn't really .... well.. make too much sense. Just put the Site Title as "Ayodele Jay's Blog" and they'll get it.

And in other yarns, people, let's start a mufment, the #WelcomeTomustdie mufment cheesy

So yeah, take out the Welcome to. Your site is Ayodele Jay's Blog, not Welcome to Ayodele Jay's Blog.

(ii). I hactually luf your tagline. Yes, I hactually do. It's concise, straight to the point and tells me exactly what your site is about.

I do think you need to make it more visible though, maybe change the color or the size of the font or anything. Sha make it more visible, cos right now, I had to strain a bit to see it.

(iii). Your primary navigation menu.

While it's great that you have one (at least we know how to get back home after leaving the home page, we can read about you and contact you and advertise), but there are things you could put up there, like your different categories- Celebrity Gist, Sports, etc so users just click to which category they want to read about.

Oh, and a search button would be nice to see here.

(iv) Thy Right Side Bar scareth me.

Why dost thou hast the big ass envato ad at the top of the right side bar, and thy search bar at the bottom?

Thou obviously dost not want me to search.

Okay, let's rearrange your right side bar, because to be honest the way you have it now, with the big space-occupying lesion of an ad, at the top, and then followed by a big ass trending posts section, then the link (I think) to join the BBM channel then the Advertise With Us section, google badge, search bar, and then blog archive.

Let's look at it from a user's point of view.

This crazy user came to your site.

He thinks "Hmmm, this site is about trending news, celebrity gist, sports and entertainment... let's go find some... okay, there are some posts, but let me find the one about Kanye West... okay, where do I search?.. hmm, lemme check the right side bar, okay, that's an ad... trending posts, I can't see Kanye, BBM channel? Who the hell cares? I want to find the post about Kanye, Advertise with us... Okay, I'm gone."

See what I'm saying?

I think I mentioned this in an earlier review but let me reiterate it:

"EVERY VISITOR COMES TO A WEBSITE FOR A REASON."

If they can't find the reason, some of them might get distracted with something else on your site, but majority usually leave.

Make it easy for us to use your site... Abeg.

Then rearrange it like this:

- Search bar
- Trending/ popular posts

You can put Categories here or not, if you make your menu sticky

- Join our BBM box
- Like us on Facebook
- Subscribe box
- Social Media buttons

Okay?

Good.

(v) Thy footer his too hespansive.

It's a footer, please. Not an extension of your main content section.

That Like Us on Facebook section will be better off at your right side bar

You can list your pages there like you have right now, but also have categories down there, so it's easier for your users to just jump to a section they find interesting from there.

Also social media buttons would also be appropriate here.

Now, we shalt speak briefly of thy content.

II. Content

I think you've done a great job of catering to the needs of the audience interested in your niche. I found myself clicking on not one, two or three, but many of your posts and actually reading through.

The Headlines are great, and obviously everybody (to an extent) loves gossip about celebrities and famous people.

Okay, to be honest, I mainly read the post about "Mushin to Surulere To Banana Island" and a few other posts about the Kardashians and Linda Ikeji.

But you see my point. Your headlines are working, and your content is good. It's not too long or too short and it tells us sharp-a-ly what we came there to find out in not more than 500 words, which is ideal for your niche.

But that's part of where the p lies- Almost every other "Linda-Ikeji-imitator" is doing the exact same thing. So why should I be loyal to your blog if I can find all this info elsewhere?

No reason.

I feel you should write in your own unique voice, that way you stand out from the rest and actually build a connection with your true audience. This connection by the way would be why they'll keep coming back to read your blog.

Let me be the first to say this publicly- The "Blog-Exactly-Like-Linda-And-Buy-A-House-In-Banana-Island" business model is dead... and bloggers killed it.

To blog about the same thing Linda does and be successful, you need to be unique, you need to have your own voice, your own style, and not be another photocopy.

Because obviously, photocopy ko easy. And if I can get the original, why do I have to settle for a copy?

That's the main issue with your content.

By the way, after every post, I noticed you write some story about how you love comments and questions, etcetera shmetcetera. Take that off. Include that in your post... And also the whole contact beneath the post thing, move that to a Contact us page.

Okay?

Good.

III. Promotion

Social Media is really your best bet. So get those pages set up, and get someone to manage it for you. I'm sure if you ask around in Nairaland, you'll definitely find somebody to hire for that... Okay?

Good.

Overall, a fairly okay site. Just make sure to make those changes I recommended and you'd be solid.

P.S. If you're reading this, and you want me to review your site, don't post it here... Post it here- https://www.nairaland.com/3765331/post-website-blog-here-get

Because queue don already dey, and it's better if everything is in one place so I don't have to be going through the pain of going back and forth between posts.

Now... Hi aff finish...

Sank you... Sank you

Hi aff left the building.

Webmasters / What's so Tech About Techguy.ng? - The Review by Copycracker(m): 10:31am On May 11, 2017
Hi, it's me again.

And yes, in my Dj Khaled voice, "It's another one".

I visited techguy.ng with my heart in my hand and two palms together hoping I wouldn't be faced with another site that would make me punch myself in the face.

And let's just say I only wanted to give myself a tiny punch.

Let's begin:

I. Design And Layout

Great, clean design. I definitely give you props on that.

(i)Site Title.

I think the URL probably already told us that it's a Tech site and your logo reinforces that so kudos on that.

(ii) Tagline

Where is your tagline?

Was it kidnapped by Boko?

Please, bring back our tagline. It's all well and good that your Site title and URL reinforce it being about tech, but what kind of tech?

Is it mobile? Is it Android? Is it iPhones or iPads?

You could argue that it's in your header section, etcetera, shmetcetera but we don't know that from a first glance at your site.

The tagline is highly important so the user you want is immediately aware at first glance that your site is for him. Otherwise he could bounce, for realzzz

Get a tagline that tells us exactly what to find on your site.

(iii) Your primary navigation menu

How far na? Have you not been reading my previous reviews?

There's no "Home" bar, "About" or " Contact Us" page. Oga bet why?

Fine. You can argue that most people know that if they click your site logo, they'll be redirected back to your home page, but guy, no be everybody sabi like that... You should still have a home tab for those people that will still try and go retype your URL into your browser to go back to your home page.

Ehen then why no "About Us" page?

You be James Bond? You don't want us to know about you?

And apparently, you also don't want us to contact you.

Get your About Us and Contact us pages set up ASAP.

(iv) No search bar in the header, right side bar or anywhere on your page.

Okay, I'm going to try to explain something to you using this analogy:

When you go to a shop, sometimes you prefer to browse around and see if they have what you're looking for. other times, you just go straight to somebody that works there and ask if they have what you're looking for.

Online it's pretty much like that. Some of you visitors will spend time going round our site trying to find what they're looking for. Other times, they'll need to ask your Search bar if you have what they're looking for.

No Search bar = no way to find out = break in conversation = They bounce and go to the next site.

A high bounce rate = no love from big Daddy Google.

So yeah, you need a search button with a field or a search bar.

(v)Your Right side bar

That section is basically non existent on your site. No search bar, no recent posts, no popular posts, no categories, no subscribe box or social media links

I think you need to put these elements in there. Unless you don't want your visitors to be able to search, look at your recent/ popular posts, know what categories are on your site, subscribe or follow you on social media.

Which would make me wonder- What do you want us to do on your site?

(vi) Your Footer

Would be a great place to put a secondary menu, social media links, maybe categories or practically anything that helps us better use your site.

Right now, there's nothing there.

II. Content

Well, the great thing is that your content is about tech. And I see you write with your unique voice and use words like "lit" which is always a plus in my book cheesy

The not so great things are:

(i) Main content section on your home page: It's not a great idea to cover up the whole screen with one post. It doesn't give us users a chance to see at a glance, all your site has to offer. First we have to scroll past the big pic of a laptop to see what the post is about, then we scroll past the next big pic to see another one and on and on.

Move the picture to the left side and let the titles and text be right beside it. This helps you utilize the space optimally.

(ii) One too many fields in your comment section right below your article

You want to make it easy for people to leave a comment, not harder. Too many fields make them begin to ask the question- "Why does he need this?"

I think "Name", "email" and "Comment" fields are enough. Wetin you wan use their website do?

Remove it.

(iii) I get it. You're writing about tech, but still your headlines have to make it obvious what the benefit of reading the post is.

It's not enough to just throw it up there and expect we will read. In your headline, you have to inspire our curiousity or promise to teach us something in the post.

For example, you could change the headline of that Windows 10S post to "Why Windows 10S is the best OS on the market right now" or "Why you should be running Windows 10S on your computer".

See my point?

Now, other issues:

I. You need to do better keyword research and SEO. I would go into more details, but I feel you should focus on the above issues first, correct them and then you can start focusing on SEO.

II. Put social media links and arrange them vertically in the left sidebar of your posts. It makes it easier for your visitors to just share your posts as they're reading.

III. Where is your subscribe button/ a call to action?

Do you want your visitors to just read and go?

Cos if you don't give them something to stick around for, then I've got old news for you- they won't.

I don't think I need to tell you what that means for your site, or do I?

I have just one major question though- What is the goal of your site? Is it for business or pleasure?

Because if it is for business, you've not really offered anything.. no service or product or anything in particular except your posts. So you might want to do that.

But if it is for pleasure, keep doing what you're doing... even though this is a time of recession and all man gas make money.

Oh yeah, I saw the ad at the top of the site. You placed it nicely, but why not ensure that the products displayed in the ad are all related to your content.

Just a thought.

By the way, if you want me to review your site, please don't put it in the comments section here. Go to https://www.nairaland.com/3765331/post-website-blog-here-get and put it there. It's a pain in the ass having to keep saying it over and over, so please just put it there unless you'd like me to forget I planned to review it. Thank you.

And I'm out.

Happy Hustling.

Okay... unless you're a celebrity or you have some unique, interesting angle to your life, don't venture into the personal journal blogging space.

Just.

Don't.

Because let's face facts. Unless the person is well known or has crazy stories, we really don't care about his or her life. For real, we really don't.

But sabiguy, you went into the personal journal blogging space... a space where angels fear to tread.

Let's see how well you've done it.

[I'm just going to ramble on all the issues in one go, instead of splitting them into sections, and you should understand why]

I don't really think there's much of a Design here.

Cos if I try to go in and talk about your design like say it's bland, doesn't sparkle, etc, it won't help you. Just know this- YOU NEED TO WORK ON YOUR DESIGN. And there really isn't much of a layout either, but I'll talk about what I can see.

(i) Your Site Title- overSABI GUY BLOG

I feel if you were in a different niche, that might actually work for you.

Like, if you were writing crazy stories about how guys get out of problematic situations in Nigeria, or get away with cheating on their girlfriends or something along that line, then maybe... just maybe it might actually work (obviously depending on how great your content is)

Oga, Bet why you capitalize the Site Title like that?

It doesn't add any flair to the Site Title. Actually, none at all. You could as well have written "OverSabi Guy Blog" and it would have been the same thing. And seriously, why is Blog in the site title.

It already looks like a blog. You don't have to tell us it's a blog again.

Okay?

Good

(ii) Your tagline

There's a real mismatch between your tagline and your blog content.

You say it's a "Journal Of A Typical Nigerian overSabi Guy" but looking at your content, you're just talking about random things.

The "Whistle Blower" post by Class Captain is the only one that seems a bit more like the type of content we would expect when we see a tagline like yours.

From the way you wrote your tagline, I'd expect that you'd be telling us interesting (maybe crazy) stories that may have happened to you, or your friends and how you got out or into it by being an "oversabi guy".

So if "whitening the teeth in 30 minutes" cannot be woven into an interesting story about being an oversabi guy, please leave it alone.

(iii) On a second thought, I think if you want to have articles like the teeth whitening one, you might want to have it in a Lifestyle Category, then the article about Julius Aghahowa would go under sports, and you could have categories like Money, Fashion, etcetera shmetcetera.

(iv) Where is your primary navigation menu? shocked angry

I don't see a navigation menu that can take me to different parts of your site. How do I get around?

There's a reason why primary navigation menus exist- so that us your users don't get lost, aren't confused and don't have to keep going back to type your URL into the browser every time we want to go back to your home page.

See what I'm saying?

You absolutely need to create one.

(v) Your Right sidebar

No categories

No recent posts

No popular posts

All I see is a subscribe button. Like really?

Why would we want to subscribe?

What are you offering us when we do?

These are things you need to think about. Are you saying "Subscribe to this blog and never miss one of our crazy stories/ lifestyle tips" ?

People don't just subscribe for "subscribing-sake", there has to be something they get in return for giving you their email address.

And I won't even bring up your non-existent footer section.

To be honest, you didn't give me much to work with. Your blog is still scanty, as it is.

Here's the summary of what to do:

* Figure out your niche. What do you want to write about? Who is your target audience? Do you want to be the Nigerian Tucker Max or like another Naked Convos type of site?

* Create a tagline that matches with what you want to write about.

* Create a primary navigation menu.

* Work on that right side bar (Search bar, Recent Posts, Popular posts, Categories, Archives)

* Social media buttons and accounts

* Create content, or find people who can create the type of content you need.

* Think about how you want to make money from the blog- Do you want to write a book or ?

* Upgrade your design!!!

Okay, that about wraps it up. Hope this helps.

Webmasters / Is Yukhub.com The Next Nairaland Or ? - The Review You Probably Shouldn't Read by Copycracker(m): 8:15pm On May 09, 2017
So I strolled over to yukhub.com to do my usual look-around and review.

And I was confused for a minute because...

Well... how do I put this?

Yukhub looks exactly like Nairaland!!

Now I don't know whether to review or not to review because reviewing Yukhub is like reviewing Nairaland and if them no like wetin I talk... hmmm...

But, you asked for a review. A review you shall get.

[DISCLAIMER: I can't promise to stay on point on this and may go on a rant at certain points and mention Nairaland a bit. I have to because Nairaland's design has been pissing me off for a while, and to see someone do exactly what Nairaland has done pisses me off a bit more. If I sound a bit harsh here, it's because I'm a bit angry, but don't worry. It's the good kind; not the kidnap-200-girls type of anger.]

P.S. Nairaland if you're reading, abeg no vex, your name will come up quite a few times in this one. "I umbly hapologice for heny hoffensive comments" (in my Yoruba accent)

Let's begin:

Design And Layout

Just like with your elder brother, Nairaland, your site has pretty much the same issues.

I'm sure the design was fine back in 2005... but kai, your site is due for an upgrade. I just spent a few minutes looking through the top ten biggest forums and well, let's just say your design really isn't matching up to what we expect in 2017.

Fine I see you tried to make it a bit different with the different colour schemes and colours of headers and boxes, but the fact is your site is like Nairaland's younger brother, like that younger brother most of us have, who looks fresher than us but still acts like us.

I'm not going to sugarcoat it. I hate your design.

It's almost as if you copied and pasted the source code for Nairaland straight to Notepad, made some edits here and there and then reuploaded it as your site.

And what pisses me off about that is that it's not like Nairaland is the ultimate Oga at the top of the forum industry.

No offence Nairaland, but it's true.

Okay, enough. Tomi, calm down.

I think you need to re-design your site, either from scratch or find a CMS that can support the forum thingy.

But let's just go from top to bottom, as usual

(i) Why do you have "Yukhub.com" as your site title?

We typed yukhub.com into our browser. We know where we wanted to go when we typed it in so telling us Yukhub.com again is unnecessary.

You need to put that as Yukhub Forums and you definitely need a tagline that says exactly what your site is for.

I can hear you thinking: "Why do I need a tagline?"

Well, you do because you're not Nairaland and Nairaland already cornered the market. Plus Yukhub doesn't really give us an idea what you're about or what you do and I think you might need to focus on a certain niche but we'll get to that.

So title should be "Yukhub Forums" and you will need a tagline.

(ii) Okay, I'm not sure how to explain this, but I'll try.

I think your home page would be better if you built it a bit like a Landing Page.

Okay, I drew an idea on paper and took a pic. You might have to zoom in to see it clearly.

The idea is to have your Site title at the top and in the Center, your tagline right underneath it, then an Ad

Then a primary navigation menu with tabs for Home, Science/Technology, Entertainment, General and then a Search Bar

Underneath the Science/Technology, Entertainment, and General tabs will be the sub-forums

Then you'd have a background image.

Text over it would be:

First line: This Day: Tuesday 9th May, 2017

Second line: Welcome, Friend (Guest is too typical everywhere, I think you should be different but you can use Guest if that's what you're comfortable with)

Third Line: The buttons for "Join Us" and " Log in"

Then the Stats: 82 members, Topics: 506 topics

Then right below: Trending. And at the right side bar: Search bar and then Recent topics right underneath

Below the section titled Trending, the trending topics would be listed and after about 7 topics, you could put an ad

Then obviously at the footer, you could have the whole "Go Up" thing and then all your Meta, which I think you should arrange horizontally instead of vertically as you have it right now.

You can still have the search bar in there and all.

See how everything works out?

(iii) Your text... hmm, where do I start...

It still has the same bland feel of Nairaland, which begs the question "Why would we come here when we already have Nairaland?" but no wahala, let me try and use your site.

Okay, so I've signed up for your site.

Why is that box green by the way? The colour is way off from the rest of the colours, but wetin be my own

Okay, I've seen some improvements, you actually made the text I input in the username appear green... interesting feature but not really a big deal.

Okay, and well, the details I need to fill in are the same, but wait o, why do you need my Yahoo Instant Messenger? and do people still use yahoo? shocked

Okay, well in general, a bit of a step up from Nairaland, but not that huge an improvement.

You're obviously trying to be the new and improved Nairaland. There's just one little issue- You can't beat Nairaland by trying to be like Nairaland.

Now, here's the main issue with trying to beat Nairaland. Nairaland has already cornered and taken over this market. Unless you're ready to go above and beyond what they're doing, you won't.

Which is why I would recommend you narrow your niche a bit. Focus on a particular area. If you need an example of what I'm talking about, here's a few and the niche they specialize in:

* Warrior Forum (www.warriorforum.com) - Marketing
* Namepros (www.namepros.com) - Domain Name Business
* Android Forums (www.androidforums.com) - Android

I think you see my point.

Rather than try to compete with Nairaland, why not find a sector that's not being taken care of and take over that sector. Or find a way to be unique. Don't give us another version of Nairaland. Give us better than Nairaland. Find your own sector.

Unfortunately I can't tell you what sector to take over. I can only tell you this: Trying to do things like it has already been done is not the way.

Now, I don't know why you asked for a review but I hope to God I have been helpful in some way amidst all my ranting and raving.

If not, I sincerely apologise for wasting your time.

In the mean time, let me go and eat. I have low blood sugar now.

Happy Hustling!

No problem, but I already have a lot of sites to review (see here- https://www.nairaland.com/3765331/post-website-blog-here-get ) and I'm going in order so you might have to hold on for a bit

Hello bro.

Thanks
Webmasters / Re: I Officially Salute Www.currenthealthtips.com ... U Dey Do Well. by Copycracker(m): 2:26pm On May 09, 2017
Okay, it's most likely bloggers in the same niche as you. Any blogger that is looking for money from you is shitty. Get away from them niggas like they're HIV.

You need to think outside the box. Try a different niche, like fitness blogs, entrepreneurial blogs, blogs about parenting, lifestyle and craft articles in your niche for their audience. E.g. "7 Natural Foods that Give Athletes More Energy." Then contact them about it. If you like, I could give you a format email to send. You'll have to do a lot of cold emailing but as long as you don't give up, you'll begin to get opportunities to guest blog.

Akemim:
Copycracker... I must say I am very grateful for your review... I have taken note of where I need to improve on... My major challenge with guest post is that some of the blog owners are demanding for payments, and those that aren't demanding are not publishing my articles...

This site right here has pleased this reviewer.

It's an example of a site that is absolutely killing it. I hope to be like you when I grow up cheesy .

And no, I was not paid for this review.

Now, let me go into details about why I think you're killing it.

I. Design and Layout

I don't know who your web developer is, but I go like hire am.

The design is clean, and everything is where it should be.

(a) Your Site Title and Tagline

The cool thing here is that your site title = your tagline = your logo . So you basically killed 3 birds with one stone and placed the logo correctly.

There was no confusion on arriving to your site.

It was obvious to me what your site is all about.

(b) I love the action going on at the top of your site. You know, where you have the "Home", "Advertise With Us", "Disclaimer" sections with social media buttons at the right side.

That right there is cool. Although I see most of your social media accounts link to a Meks Team or so, your IG links to the instagram home page and you have a link to Vkontakte (which, as someone who schooled in Eastern Europe, I was actually drawn to) but it also linked to the home page too.

You should fix that so people don't click through and end up somewhere else like I did, but I'm not mad at that.

(c) Your Primary Navigation Menu

It's just perfect the way it is... well, almost.

You have placed everything we need to use to find anything on your site. You put your Home element there, have all your categories there and a search button.

You should remove the "Blog" element/ tab. It's not really doing anything there. And when I clicked through, it led to an empty page.

There's no need to have that there, unless you were using a static page for your home page and want the user to know you have a blog.

But you already got that covered from the Site Title.

So take the Blog tab out.

(d) Your Featured Slider is... amazing.

It's not too big that it blocks everything out, and it's not too small that the slides are hard to see.

It also shows different posts from different categories, with featured images that are faded out so the Title of the posts are more visible.

Great Job.

Just Great Job.

(e) Your Right Side bar

We immediately see "Looking for something?" above a search bar as the first element there, that's niceeeeee.

I've been making noise about putting a Search bar as the first element in that right side bar for the past few reviews. This is how you do it!

Perfect.

Next we have a table element titled Categories, that also shows the number of posts in each category. That's just beautiful.

Then Popular posts with the images... To be honest, at this point, I want to "chyke" your site and take her home to Mama.

Then the Subscribe box, and social media link..... I'm in love with your Right Side bar ... forrealzzzz

(e) Your footer

Perfect. Clean. Simple. Straight to the Point. I need not toot thy horn any more.

II. Content

You've really really done well, created actual, original content.

I almost have nothing to hammer on about.

Most of your headlines are great, especially in the Lifestyle category. If you look at them again, you'll see that from the headline, the actual benefit of reading the post is clear.

For example, these are some of your headlines from the Lifestyle Category:

" 10 Reasons Why You're Always Tired And How To Fix it"

" 9 Natural Ways To Stop Snoring"

" Kiss Anxiety Goodbye: Natural Ways To Beat Fear"

Seen that?

Good. Now, do that everywhere else, especially in your Health Benefits section. Most of your headlines there follow the same format:

" (Amazing) Health Benefits of Okra " for example.

Why not switch it up with something like:

"Did You know that Okra Could Lower Your Blood Pressure? Find out more health benefits inside."

Obviously, that would still need a lot of work, but hopefully you get my point.

Sure, you're getting views and all, but you could be getting so much more.

Your content is obviously amazing, just tweak your headlines a little bit, and you should see an increase in views.

Also, remember that most of your audience are probably not medically inclined, so keep the medical terms to a minimum.

Those are the main things I could point out... You've basically made my job a bit hard here.. Nice one...

Now, let's talk about a few things:

Promotion- From what I can see, you mainly share your posts on LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest and Google Plus, which is all well and good but most of your traffic seems to come from search engines. I'd suggest you double up on your SEO. Continue sharing on social media, but focus your efforts on SEO.

Also, are you guest blogging? If you aren't, you need to start now, and you might want to start with the site "Medical Daily", then get on "Entrepreneur" with a blog post about "Short, healthy meals for the entrepreneur on the go." They'll prolly love that, or not. You just gotta try it to know.

To be honest, the question I have been asking myself throughout this review is "What do you need a review for?"

You're killing it.

If there's a specific problem you want to fix, let's talk about it. Lemme know.

Yeah, I will... after you step up your English.

It's spelled "technique" and people don't drop "testimony". Use spell check next time (or not). It's entirely your choice.

I get it though. You're frustrated, unhappy and you're looking for a fight or argument.

You're hungry for attention and you want to feel important.

That's all well and good, but I have work to do.

Like I said, Good luck to you.

And I'm done with you.

Lol......not even one person dropped testimony how helpful your arranged movie script was....step up your technic shaaaaaa

Thank you, Dan, for that astute observation.

However, if you read my initial post, you'd see I never claimed to be a guru or have any Alexa Rank-bending abilities.

I made it clear what I want to do, and if you would like to be a part of it, you're welcome.

Otherwise, good luck in your hustle.

But I gotta get back to work.

There's one last spot left. Any interested person should hit me up on the number above.

Thanks

Since you know the secret why is your site Alexa rank still 8.2million

Why is it not up to 10k or 5k in the world

It's all about the money, and the freedom that money can buy.

We want to live the dream- work from home, make money while we sleep, travel overseas, and enjoy our lives.

Relax.

I'm not going to give you another boring, annoying sales pitch.

You know the type- "Are you interested in x? My company provides bla bla bla"

This is not one of those.

Let's face facts.

If you're reading this thread in this Webmaster section, it's because you have an interest in online business.

You might want to set one up or you may already have one set up.

If that's you, keep reading, because I've got something GOOD to offer you.

When you want to set up any online business, there's a few problems you're bound to face:

* You don't know what kind of business you want to start.

* You don't know how or where to start.

* You don't know how you will publicize your business and get customers.

* You don't know how to make a website and you don't have money to hire a professional web designer.

* You don't know how to find a niche for your blog.

* You don't know how to market your business, do SEO or all those big things that people are always talking about.

Sound familiar? So what do you do?

Most people get fazed by this, and give up the dream of making money online. They give up on trying before they begin. They believe it's too hard. These are the Losers.

Some people start anyway and anyhow, and keep struggling trying things and failing and getting better with each fail. And keep grinding, refusing to give up till they achieve their goals. I call these people Winners.

If you're reading this, I'm going to bet you're in the second category i.e. You're a Winner. And if you are, then I want to work with you... because I fall in the second category too.

I'm not going to give you a history lesson about how I've been struggling trying to figure things out for the past 5+ years because who that one go epp?

But the fact is...

I have, and after consuming anything I could find online (for free, of course cheesy ) about setting up online businesses, social media marketing, SEO, copywriting, blogging , finding your selling point, web design, usability and content marketing, I'm beginning to figure things out.

It's like film trick, but I'm beginning to understand how things work.

I've started building an ecommerce company, a web development and online marketing company and I'm rebuilding my site- The 500 Naira Writer (www.500nairawriter.com) to focus on helping online entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses.

Okay. Enough about me.

How this one take concern you?

Well if you fall into the second category and you're a Winner, I want to work with you.

Okay, to be honest, I need your help, and would like to help you so you can help me.

I'm creating a course that will show people how to start from scratch and build a profitable online business, and I would like to work with you, so I can make it better, genuinely helpful and tailored to the needs of people who take this course.

Which is why I would like to work with 5 online entrepreneurs to start and grow their businesses.

If you've been reading my site reviews, you probably can see a few things wrong on your site, and maybe even in your business that you'd like to improve.

And those are just the tip of the iceberg.

I have many many more ideas, tips, and helpful insights up my sleeve that I would like to use to help you make your online business profitable.

I'm willing to go to work for and with you to ensure you succeed. And for the first 5 people who contact me (on my whatsapp- +2348147018718):

- You'll get A Site Review and fix whatever issues are on your site
- We will figure out your niche and find your selling point
- I will come up with an online marketing strategy for your business
- We will execute that strategy, adapt, and make changes where necessary
- Build a subscriber list
- Find a way to make you money

I will work with you for the next 6 months on all these, for FREE. I'm based in Abuja, however, so I might not be able to be physically there, but thankfully we are talking about online business here, not real life office-and-chair businesses, and so long as we have internet, we can work.

You'll get all the things listed above for FREE... only if you are one of the first 5 to send me a message saying "I'm interested" on Whatsapp (+2348147018718). If you don't make it to the first 5 but you're still interested, I'll charge you a small fee.

So if you're ready to make some real money in your online business, instead of just going round in circles, trying to figure things out, send me "I'm interested" on Whatsapp (+2348147018718) and we'll begin.

Now, in the words of Linkin Park:

"What the hell are you waiting for?"

Webmasters / When I Went To Jam Up At Www.streetmp3.com + VIDEO - The REVIEW by Copycracker(m): 9:04am On May 08, 2017
Full disclosure: When I saw the URL- www.streetmp3.com, I was expecting something quite different from what I saw.

I came. I saw. And I was not amused.

I doubt that there's anybody who goes to that site that isn't expecting to jam up.

But we'll get to that.

Yes, I did the video and you can watch that here-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqyGNiHuR9k

But the main meat is in this post so you should definitely read this as well.

Let the review begin.

I. Design and Layout.

Clean, simple design and layout. Usually I'd be all like "Nice one" but not in your case.

Your site isn't littered with ads, yes, but at first glance, your site is a bit too bland for me or anyone who is actually coming to your site for the music.

If na lie, make una correct me o.

I expected it to be more alive, but what I got is a music site that just looks like a blog.

My guy, bet why?

You need to liven it up. For real.

Just going with a plain white background will not appeal to the music lovers your site is supposed to attract.

Anyway, let's just talk about what you have there.

(i) Site Title and Tagline- Good

I love the fact that when I arrived, it was instantly clear what I could do on your site. There was no confusion whatsoever. You communicated that effectively.

Kudos on that.

(ii) Primary Navigation Menu: I know you'd expect your visitors to obviously know they should click your Site Title when they want to go to your home page... BUTTTT you should still have "Home" as one of the elements in that menu, for those of us who are not regular internet users.

Imagine if a person who was just a little bit crazy came to your site. Imagine that that person had not used your site before. And somebody blindfolded them and after a few turns, they landed on a page of your site.

How would they find their way back home if you don't point it out?

You need to put Home up there.

The rest of the menu seems pretty ok, except for "Beats".

What's that for?

I mean, are you planning to target upcoming artistes or music producers as well?

That "Beats" section really isn't serving any purpose right now. I clicked on it and you had just one post there, that may as well have gone in the "Music" category.

Take out the "Beats"

(iii) Where's your search icon?

I know you have a search bar in the right side bar (which I'll come to in a second), but you need to have a search icon somewhere at the top right corner or just slightly above your primary navigation menu.

There are some people who come to your site and don't really like to spend time browsing around trying to find something.

They just prefer to do a search for it and if they find it, good. If not, they leave.

You need to take care of these people as well, and a prominent search icon will tell them "Hey, you are safe. You can search here".

(iv) Where's your About Us page and your Contact page

Guy, you antisocial gan o.

The About Us page tells us about your brand, and the Contact page tells us how to contact you. Think about it, if someone wanted to place an ad on your site now, how will they reach you to tell you?

Need I say more?

(v) Your Right side bar: Hmm... you've got your Ad, then the Search bar, then categories, then another Ad, then your "Now trending" section.

I think you should rearrange that with the user in mind. That is, something like this:

* Your Ad
* Your Search Bar
* Your "Now trending" section- because when we come to your site, we don't want to have to scroll down to see what's now trending.
* Your categories
* Your social media accounts (which I didn't see)
* Your second Ad

That will look better.

(vi) Your Footer

Why in God's name do you have your Alexa traffic rank thingy there?

How does that serve your user in any way?

Answer: It doesn't.

"Lemove" it. ASAP.

You could also put in different categories like different genres of music, instead of the whole "music" , "video" category thing.

And social media share or follow buttons would be great here.

(vii) Your Left Side Bar be like "Lonely... I am so Lonely... I have nobody of my own" (in Akon voice)

Spice things up there with the vertical array of Social media share buttons. This way your visitors won't miss it and it just makes it easier to share your content.

Side Tip: If there's any action you'd like your visitor to take, make it obvious how and make it easy for them to take that action. Otherwise, they wouldn't. Plain simple.

II. Content.

I looked at a few of your articles and... okay, before that... let's talk about the way you display them on your home page.

If you can, I want to suggest you use a boxed layout. That means, you have about 3 posts displaying per line so your user can scan through them.

Here's why.

With our low attention span, if we get to your site and the first few things we see don't keep our attention, we are more likely to "bounce".

The way it is, if we're looking for a certain thing, we should be able to tell by scanning through the home page, whether you have it or not.

Some of us (like me) like Kanye West so we're likely to click on the article you have at the top right now. But some of us don't (na wa for una).
For those of us who don't, your home page needs to give us something else to look at. Having those posts in a boxed layout will give us something else to do without even having to scroll.

Now back to your content, your written content is mostly normal length for the niche you're in but it sounds pretty much like any other music blog or site we've seen on the internet.

You copy and paste, bro? angry

So, I skimmed through and didn't read it. You might want to think of adding a bit more flavour to that.

Make it an interesting read, not something we just skip over. Make it an original.

Say NO to Copy and Paste

Moving on..

I noticed some of your posts have two pictures of the same person, or thing. Why?

I doubt you can give us a good reason why (and even if you can, we users don't care) so just remove one of the images.

Okay?

Good.

Also, you really need to up the game with your content production. So far, you've only produced content about a few musicians, in the general scheme of things.

Look for the regular trouble-making musicians in the industry, create content around them, then add in the rest of the lot.

You have a lot of work to do if you want to write on Entertainment New. I mean, why will we come here looking for Entertainment News instead of Linda Ikeji Blog.

Yes, I'm doing it again. I'm talking about who's your audience and what's your selling point.

Sure, you're attempting to target music lovers and sell them with the downloading thing but you have yet to give us a reason to stay with your site instead of going elsewhere.

Why not try to focus on a niche? Like your site is called Street mp3, why not give us the sound of the streets? Not the regular Olamide, Davido and big ogas them, but why not actively get in the streets, find out about upcoming artistes on the streets of Naija and make the blog about them and their music. To me, it seems like the least targeted niche in that industry.

That's just a thought though

And you don't even have the music playlist thing. How far you na?

Should you do SEO?

Hmm, I think SEO gets too much hype sometimes, and probably won't work for you.

What you need to do is stay on top of the industry, keep tabs on everything, craft unique content (Yes, I know it's tough, but ultimately, that's what you need to do because if you google "Music sites in the world", you'll realize quickly that you need to find a way to stand out), then promote it on social media, radio, etc.

That would probably bring more traffic in for you, than SEO will.

* Get Social Media Share and Follow buttons, create social accounts. It's tough, but do it. No stories, just do it. And if you can't, hire someone who can.

I didn't try the download feature on your site... lemme just check it.

Oh wow, na wa.

First of all, the link to download is not prominent, you need to fix that. What you can do is reduce the image size a bit, put the link to download beside it or immediately underneath it and use bigger text so we can see it.

And why is it that when I clicked to download an mp3, it opened a window redirecting me to "babatundeblog.com" or something like that.

Hmmm... issues... issues.

And a big one I noticed is- There's no subscribe call to action. What?

You don't want us to subscribe ni? Do I really need to go into detail on this? (I think not)

Create a call to action subscribe box, a pop-up and say something like "Don't miss out on the happenings in the industry. Subscribe and get regular updates on who's beefing who etc" , you get the idea.

In summary, I think:

* Your site needs more spark. The design is a bit bland.
* Try to add a music player feature.
* Social media share and follow buttons. Get them.
* Rearrange that right side bar.
* Try a boxed layout for your content.
* Get rid of that Alexa ranking thingy in your footer.
* Delete those duplicated images in your posts.
* Write original content. Read, and remix. And make sure it's interesting.
* Call to action . You need am.

Okay, I'm done. I wasn't able to jam at www.streetmp3.com so I'm going somewhere else where I can jam.

Whatup Temolad!!

Great to see you requested for another review..

But guy, na wa for you o. One review no do?

LOL. Just kidding grin

You requested a second review. A second review you will get.

And I'm gonna throw in the video too.

[If you would prefer to watch the video, follow this link-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqnTASMUlfQ . If not, just read the post. And if you want to do both, you know what to do]

Without too much "senrenre", let's begin.

I. Design And Layout

Okay, the design is fair. I can't really beef you on that.

The snowflakes coloured background versus the red tabs and links thing. Cool. Simple, but cool.

(a) The Title- Temolad Blog

You really don't have to put the "Blog" in there as part of the title. Kinda makes it over-worded (is that even a word?)... LOL

You can just leave it as Temolad and you'll be solid.

(b) I definitely love the fact that you used a tagline that tells us what you're about.

"Motivational and Inspirational Article Planet"

Straight to the point, tells us this site right here is about motivational and inspirational articles, so if that's what you're looking for, you've come to the right place.

I would suggest rewriting that as "Motivational and Inspirational Articles for (insert your target audience here)"

That way, you can better target your audience.

(c) Your primary navigation menu

Cool. You pretty much have everything that tells us where to go on your site, but there's still one gbagaun there.

"Site Map"

Why do we need a site map when you have your primary nav menu there. And then when you click on site map, it leads us nowhere.

Not much of a map really.

Don't have a page in your primary nav menu that doesn't have a purpose.

REMOVE that page with immediate alacrity!

Also try and make your primary nav menu sticky so it follows us as we scroll down the page.

(d) Your right side bar

You've got all the useful links, etc but it's not really arranged.

You might want to arrange it as follows:

* Search bar- Because we need to know we have a way to see if you have what we're looking for when we come to your site.
* Popular posts
* Categories
* Tweet box
* Archives
* The "follow this blog by email" box

The Pages menu there.. yeah, delete that, it's not serving any useful purpose.

(e) Your left side bar

It looks a bit lonely there... and that's not necessarily a bad thing, but I noticed no social media icons in the upper part of your site. You should consider having some in your left side bar.

(f) I love the way your content is displayed. It doesn't tell us the whole story but gives us just a bit of an idea to know whether the posts are for us (or not)

(g) Your footer

You've got the good stuff here, but looking at the section "Site Admin", you didn't really talk about you there. The description you gave there sounds more like a Call to Action (which I didn't notice on your site, but we'll come to that later).

Change it up there, and give us something short, sweet and interesting to read about you.

And then you have something called "Directories" there but the items underneath it look more like Categories. Change it to Categories.

I don't have beef with the one called "Pages"

Now, let's talk about your Content.

2. Content.

From where I'm sitting, your content seems okay. Most of your articles are of moderate length, which is not bad.

I noticed in some of your articles though, you kinda muddled it up- created one too many large paragraphs.

Recent studies (http://www.slate.com/articles/technology/technology/2013/06/how_people_read_online_why_you_won_t_finish_this_article.html and almost everywhere online) shows that most people don't really have that much of an attention span considering there's a video of a cat riding a bike somewhere online for them to find and watch.

So most people scan through articles. What does this mean for you?

This means break up those huge blocks of paragraphs into shorter ones that make it easier for them to read and follow your writing.

Basically, paragraph size of about 2-4 short sentences is a great rule to follow.

And your headlines...

While they're good, they could be better.

Go to this link (http://www.copyblogger.com/magnetic-headlines/ ) and grab a free copy of that eBook to help you figure that out.

... I had almost forgotten.

At the bottom right of your page, there's this button that looks like an arrow pointing to the right. When you hover over that, your share buttons come out.

Yes. that one.

While it could be every developers delight, it does not delight your audience because most of them don't even know it's there.

Get rid of that, and make it easier and more obvious for your audience how to share your posts by simply putting those links in the left sidebar.

Repeat after me- " I wee not confuse the user."

Again!

Got it? Good.

Now some words on SEO.

I believe you should optimize your posts... stat.

Although, I'm not really an expert on how you do that in Blogger. But the plan's practically like I outlined in my last review:

SEO: A typical SEO plan would involve:

- finding target keywords and identifying the ones with high volume + medium competition
- Using those keywords in your H1 header, and sub headings, putting it in alt text of your images and media, and sprinkling it in your text
- Getting backlinks from reputable sites, and blogs within your niche

Notice at the second point I said sprinkle, not shower.

Common wisdom says you should put your target keyword after every 100 words of your content....

BUT I believe in human optimization, so I recommend you only put it in where it actually makes sense, otherwise at some point, big Daddy Google wee be looking at you like: "Shey you don dey madt abi?"

Now, on the subject of getting backlinks, you need to reach out to top bloggers in your niche (use alltop.com to find them or just google it), guestblog for them (how you do that would be too long for this review), share their posts, and request that they link to you (and offer them an article that would benefit their audience to link to).

Obviously, this begins with first creating great content, but that's the general idea.

I looked at your Temolad profile page. Guy, abeg revamp that thing joor. Make it interesting for your target audience to read through, and please change that picture in favour of a better quality one with you smiling, for obvious reasons.

The pishurr there now dey scare away visitors, for realzz.

Anyway, overall you've done a great job, but now is time for real yarns:

What is the ultimate purpose of your blog? Is it just for fun or is it a business?

Since you're obviously not planning to use Ads (or are you?) , you might want to consider the following options:

(a) Writing an eBook and selling it
(b) Becoming a life coach and selling your services through your site.
(c) Using the site to land writing gigs
etcetera shmetcetera

Like I said in the video, the possibilities are just endless.

So don't dull.

Anyway, that's my 2 kobos on your site.

2 Reviews and 1 video for only You. Guy I don try.

If you ask for a 3rd review, you better be ready (financially) LOL.
