JuicyStar:
You and who be “you people?” I have said it from week two that the winner would be WM. This is going by the yearly tradition of viewers all going in one direction. Once u show an attitude of a hustler, broke guy and needing the money more, majority of Nigerians flow in that same direction.

Na for Nigeria we go hear “so and so is already rich, let us give someone that needs the money more” as though it’s a poverty alleviation program. Who talk say someone that’s already made shouldn’t win the show.

For those locking liqourose as the winner, they are judging by her followers on social media forgetting that na who “street” dey support dey always win. “Street” here refers to the crowd that can relate to either suffering story or hustling story.

Since the winner is determined by the highest voting number, we will continue to get the crowd favorites as the winner.
WhiteMoney is poor? Never knew. If you talk about who shared the worst hustling or suffering story, they all do. Saw a clip earlier of Cross where he shared almost 30 minute "suffering" story. Why is the street not rooting for him?

Even last year, Laycon failed to cry despite the humiliation. He never shared any poverty story. In fact, we got to know he had a Lexus before coming on the show. So how and where did he share poverty story?

Whoever is the most talked about in the early weeks always seem to have an edge. It's nobody's fault at all. The housemates year in year out give viewers the winner. Since others failed to give content when everyone nearly gave up on the show; since they all chose sleep in the early weeks over 90M; since they all allowed WM take over the most strategic duty in the house while the sleep their lives away; since Pere decided to make him the victim; then you can't blame anyone really.

Content creators always milk the perceived winners in the early weeks. They create contents around the housemates that's mostly likely to give them the highest engagements. The buzz & engagement earn the perceived winner more votes.

The other HMs are simply to blame for failing to understand this simple trick. WM wasn't dum.b for taking over the kitchen in week 1. The game is the game, poverty or wealth.

It’s easier this time, no competition. WM wins. LiquorRose 1st runner up. Maria 2nd runner up. Other top two either Pere, Boma or Michael

My dear, its not easy to see white and call it black but love can make someone to do certain things.
For Tacha and Erica,I became an online hoodlum, cursed people and received curses in return...all for what,LOVE!
Does Tacha know me?No
Does Erica know me?No
Have I ever benefited from either of them?Never!
Laycon and Erica are now cool with each other while obsessed fans like us are relegated to a corner.smh
This season,I decided to cruise with the housemates and keep my emotions in check because I can't come and kill myself because of people who don't give a Bleep about me.
So my dear, don't take things too seriously o,just hype your fave and catch cruise.grin
I'm still rooting for Laycon though. He was my first and last. Don't give a damn about BBN anymore. I watch the channel like other random channels. I can't go through that phase anymore.

The winner of BBN shouldn’t just be determined by voting alone abeg. This one way direction of Nigerians every season is so annoying. It has become so predictable.

Aside from the Mercy and Tacha’s season (before village people visit Tacha), u can easily determine who the winner of the other seasons will be. See the bandwagon followership all over social media. Once one person says something, everybody go follow. In fact, u are in trouble if u are in the minority.

How will someone say pere is bullying WM? WM na small pikin? Certainly they are equal in that house, so it is left for WM to choose to be intimidated which I don’t see happening.

It’s so annoying that Nigerians fall for same strategy every season.
Thought you people said Liquorose was going to win in week 1. Lol

It's just week 3, chill. Many people already locked in Liquorose as their winner in week 1. Many will still regret locking Whitemoney as the winner cos it's just week 3, lol.

And btw, it's nobody's fault that Pere decided to make Whitemoney a perceived winner already. It's absolutely no one's fault.

You all always find a reason to make the winner look bad. If you're not blaming viewers, you all would be lying about pity cards and what not. Who among the housemates haven't shared a bad story? They all did, from Yousef to Cross, Saga, Boma, Angel, Etc.

I am from Okene, Kogi state, actually, Gov. Yahaya Bello had been doing extremely well security wise, compare to other states being terrorized by kidnappings and banditting, GYB had done well but the recent expriened cases of kidnappings in the state, to my own point of veiw, I think its the hand work of some enemies of the Gov and the state in general for the fact that GYB is planning to contest for presidency

Am very sure he will look in to it and handle the case as usual

Kogi state will be great again by God's grace

I'm sorry, Nothing can be done. The loan has been automatically rejected for you for failing to accept on time.

I still don't understand why anyone who really needs this loan will forget to be checking his status for at least once a week or at least follow updates on Facebook, twitter, nairaland. Following updates will make one know people are getting approved and can be one's turn any time.

People are getting approved and paid almost every week, one doesn't need to see someone close to him gets paid before he now decides to check his status.

I hope you applied for nyif? Be hopeful on nyif and be updated if you applied for it. Your covid loan has gone, I'm sorry
You can't blame him o. After almost a year of checking, I've stopped bothering myself.

Afrobeats may be a less-known genre stateside, but anyone interested in the qualities of human conversation should dig into the sound immediately.

From Fela Kuti to Orlando Julius to Orchestre Poly-Rhythmo, the genre contains the rhythms of a ripping conversation—one you don’t want to end.

And from Antibalas to Burna Boy, the younger generation of Afrobeats artists is taking up the mantle, too.

For a fresh example of this, meet Laycon, a Nigerian Afrobeats/Afrorap artist who makes performing this music seem as natural as breathing.

In the latest episode of Press Play At Home, let the young Afrobeats ambassador spin a captivating musical yarn with help from his accompanists.

The Academy found his performance highly impressive they had to follow him on Instagram. Laycon and Burna Boy have now become the only African artistes on the Academy's list of followers.

Looking at that picture, are you motivated to be like Jack or a thieving politician?? Does this kind of picture motivate the average Nigerian to design an app or just grow old with the hope of becoming a career political thief?

I had to respond to this. The same stupid mistake young and uninformed Nigerians like to repeat.

Go ask, what tantalum is, and who the largest producer is?
Go ask who the second largest producer of Diamonds is?
Go ask who built the pyramid (maths & physics & astrology), algorithms, irrigation

Go ask why the white man had to risk all to travel thousands of miles and fight for years with Africa.

Go ask about rubber and Belgium and Congo

Do you think the black man would not be able to read or write if the white man had not come?
Is English the only written text? Egyptians and Ethiopians had been read and writing.

Go ask why the slave trade was ended, how the industrial age came alive and where the resources to pivot the industrial age came from?
Go ask why every decade Europe of which N.A is a subset has to start a war in Africa or the middle east?

Just sit down on a chair worshipping white people! Look at China and India, and Russia (Odd child) and North Korea .. even Iran has gained more academically, technically, and financially from the west, and yet they are consistently at crosshairs.

The white man will never respect or give you a second thought if you not proud of your heritage and self. That is why the first thing they did to Kinta Kunte is changed his name.
Tell Buhari to respect Nigerian doctors and hospitals by patronising them instead of flying out evrry goddam time for treatment.

Tell Buhari to respect Nigerian laws and the Nigerian Constitution.

Imagine preaching about respect when your federal government doesn't even have one? Selecting 5 of your top Ministers to discuss with Twitter executives is how to gain respect?

Would Buhari select these same Ministers to discuss with Seun Osewa, a Nigerian? Of course they won't. Seun is not white.

Majority of those supporting Baba Daura about the Twitter ban have never used the app.

If Baba had banned Nairaland, I'm sure your opinions will change. Oh did I just mention opinion? Where would you even post your stup.id opinions in the first place when the site gets banned?

A Nairaland ban would even be worse cos VPN won't save your as.s. Seun's home would be raided and his office closed permanently.

I blame Buhari for not shutting this site so you lots can have sense and return to Facebook. There you can add your new primary school friends and upload wedding photos.

Of course I am not happy with the State of affairs in Nigeria. That still does not mean I will proclaim some nerds as greater or more meritorious relevant than a leader like Fashola.

How? Why? In what sense? Some of you need to travel and broaden your horizon to know that it is only you blacks in Africa who worship white folks when many of them have disdain for you and view you as inferior.

PMB is spot on with his handling of Twitter and every proud Nigerian with the right 'calibration', and regardless of our national woes currently, will appreciate that.

We are not an outpost nation of the USA or the West. We are a sovereign nation and the biggest black nation on earth even if that means nothing to you and other self-haters.
Biggest black nation means nothing. Biggest nation with divisive entities who hate one another so much.

The average Igbo man does not see himself as one with a Fulani or Bororo and vice versa. That's the fact and it will remain until the end of time. If you wish, you can spend N1 trillion on campaigns on NTA, it wouldn't change nothing.

They want to die over twitter. Disgusting. Did we not breathe and eat before twitter?

Fun fact my brother. Nairaland was found 2005. Twitter 2006. Yet Nigerians want to die over Twitter. Shows you how mentally colonized many Nigerians are to date. Disgusting to be honest.
This one doesn't even know that Nairaland is more toxic than Twitter. grin grin

Fashola excelled in his law profession, becoming an SAN, and was exemplary as a leader.

In your usual self-hating way, you cannot see this and would rather deify nerds who happen to be very common whereas outstanding and reformational leaders are not.

Same way you don't rate Nigerian leaders is how I don't rate Ford or the West because, unlike you, I am exposed to the West and not enamored by it.
You don't rate the West but you're using the Western Internet to hail and exalt those who made your people captives 60 years after gaining independence from the so called Western oppression?

I hope you're not using the West's VPN to assess an App already banned by your toothpick making oppressor with superior ego?

Self-hatred of the black man, especially Nigerians and Africans, will ensure slavery remains powerful for a long time even if not obviously visible.

Please don't be unfortunate by speaking low of Twitter nerds.

Even Fashola knows how much Twitter and the internet helped his political image generally.
