Do not be deceived, Nigeria and Nigerians need Twitter more. Twitter has been the voice of mainly the educated Nigerians in Nigeria/diaspora; and a customer service platform for all private and public institutions in Nigeria.

There's no doubt that a lot of Nigerians are on that platform but the truth is that many of them are not based in Nigeria. Majority of Nigerians in Nigeria have become too poor to afford our overly expensive and capped data bundles.
