MediaTek is working on a 64-bit Octa Core SoC in the MT67XX series, which will be MediaTek’s first chip that will be based on 20nm process, according to a leaked roadmap. MediaTek introduced the MT6795 SoC last year as the world’s first 64-bit Octa-Core smartphone SoC with built-in 4G LTE Cat.9.
It has 4 ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs and 4 ARM Cortex-A57 CPUs and is based on 28nm process. Unlike the MT6795 SoC, the upcoming SoC would come with Cat.6 LTE and is expected to be targeted at mid to high-end 4G devices.

Details about the display and ISP support in chip are not available yet. Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 810 SoC that is also based on 20nm process will ship sometime in the first half of 2015. LG G Flex 2 could be the first smartphone to ship with the chip since the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro is not expected until the end of March. Hope we can expect more devices, including the rumored HTC One M9 (Hima) with the Snapdragon 810 SoC at the MWC 2015.

MediaTek already announced that the MT6795 would be commercially available by the end of 2014 for the OEMs. According to the roadmap it would ship by Q1 2015. The leaked roadmap also reveals upcoming MT6580 quad-core and MT6570 dual-core chips based on ARM Cortex A7 CPUs for budget 3G smartphones sometime in Q2 2015. No details about the rumored 10-core and 12-core chips in the roadmap.

MediaTek, the popular Taiwanese mobile chipmaker, is reportedly planning to release 10-core or 12-core mobile CPUs in 2015.

According to Chinese blog Mydrivers, an insider of the mobile phone industry has revealed that MediaTek is developing mobile processors with more than 8 cores - could be 10 or even 12 cores, and if everything works out well, then the new multi-core processor will be up for release in 2015.

To remind you, MediaTek had released the 64-bit architecture processors last year, which includes the octa-core MT6795, MT6752, and MT6732. The MediaTek MT6795 operates on frequency of 2.2GHz, and has been reported that the SoC will debut with HTC's upcoming flagship One (M9) aka HTC Hima.

The MediaTek MT6795 SoC features the company's new CorePilot technology, which provides multi-processor performance and thermal control, as well as offers dual-channel LPDDR3 clocked at 933MHz in a smartphone.

Some key features of the MT6795 include 2K (2560x1600 pixels) on device display support; 120Hz mobile display with Response Time Enhancement and ClearMotion Technology; 480fps 1080p super-slow motion video feature support; new integrated, low-power hardware support for H.265 Ultra HD (4K2K) video record and playback; support for Rel. 9, Category 4 FDD and TDD LTE (150Mbps/50Mbps); support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, FM, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, ANT+, and multi-mode wireless charging support.

Honest Review - Innjoo Magic Earpiece

I am a Jumia Sales consultant, please take note

The Innjoo ear piece was disappointing to me, no bass effect at all despite using poweramp. (i turned down d button on the ear piece as instructed on the manual)

i was however amazed when i used it with my nokia c3 (with the button on the ear piece turned up)....correct bass and very good output
