How does he expect a Winner to congrat someone that Rigged the election before the election even started.

How am i even sharing a Country with this type of people with mental illness.

Who did i offend in this country

Did i commit any crime by sharing the same country with Yoruba people

My problem is not yoruba people, my problem is the North. There is no way we should be in coexistence with those animals.

Culture / Why Does Our Society Condemn Using Left Hand To Give And Receive? by cornel00(m): 6:59pm On Jul 14, 2020
I have always wanted to ask this question for sometime now cos i don't really understand the mystery behind it.

I went to a shop to buy some provision, i tried to pay the seller with my left hand because my right hand was occupied with my tool box, she insisted i must give her the money with my right hand which i have no problem with, but i really want to know the reason so i thought bringing it up here will go a long way hearing different people's opinions.

People see it as a bad manner, but to me, it means nothing. I believe one cannot wash right hand effectively without the left hand. So why the condemnation? Is there any religious reference to back it up with?

Thank you!!!!

The first respondent on this thread is a damn fool for bringing tribalism into this. That is what happens when you're gifted free data. I don't blame her but the network provider who presented her with this rare opportunity...

Meanwhile what is happening to our indigenous players? One death after another and we haven't seen half of the year yet.

The LMC and NFF have to hold an emergency meeting to chart the way forward. Things are going out of hand.

Honestly it's quite disheartening

- The 26-year-old was said to have died on the spot

- The Enugu Rangers attacker was said to be returning home due to the coronavirus

Super Eagles and Enugu International forward Ifeanyi George has been reported killed in a ghastly motor accident while returning to his base on Sunday, March 22, 2020.

The ex-Enyimba of Aba striker was in the car with two others who were also killed in the incident. They were said to be returning home when the tragic incident occurred.

Heartbroken former team-mate and Nigeria beach soccer legend Abu Azeez replied a post with ‘crying emojis’, describing it as the "saddest news of the year".

Ifeanyi George made his international debut for Nigeria in 2017 against Benin and made two international caps. He was aged 26.

The management Enugu in a statement confirmed the involvement of some of their players in a fatal accident while traveling for the ten-days break.

The statement said: "According to scetchy information available to the management, our attacking sensation, Ifeanyi George who was in his vehicle driven by his friend including a B team player, had the vehicle smashed into a parked articulated vehicle along Onitsha-Agbor-Benin road, Sunday morning.

General Manager of the side, Prince Davidson Owumi said, "We just heard this disturbing news this morning and what we hear is not palatable.

"I await information from my officials that are already on their way to the spot where the accident was said to have taken place. We call for prayers in this hour of pains."

Os3e:

Op I think u have asked a very simple and very core question of what happens next ? I like to look at things with logic and from a lay man's view. I am of the opinion that one must not go thru every experience oneself in order to learn. But that we can learn from the experiences and situations of other's; in order to make a better informed decision. Having said that, it can be seen that a majority of the countries in Africa, the middle East and worldwide that have walked down the path we r trying to walk now; have nothing to show for it. 80% of them are facing and are stil facing war, famine and disintegration. A total collapse of peace, security and stability. With all the numerous challenges facing the country, isn't it logical to say ours will be the worst of them all yet. Y then, do we want to so eargerly walk down this obvious path of destruction. On the other hand we have countries made up of diverse ethnicities who coexist as best as they can. Some have been thru their own wars and r trying to rebuild for many decades. Y can we not as a nation take examples from peace initiatives employed in other regions and modify them to apply to our situation. One common characteristic of regions that have had the same issues as us, is corruption and bad leadership. These are also our biggest challenges as a country. Y not focus on the real issues and try tackling them, instead of hiding behind the umbrella of seperatism. but the problem is that corruption has eaten in so deep across the nation, so much that it seems to be the general culture of all languages.

When I look logically at the present situation I say massive ignorance, especially among the youth plays a key role in everything. I place 50% of the divisive notions on the shoulders of the youth. I say this because we are too docile and seem very ignorant. We do not demand accountability and transparency from the same leader's we elect. They need to be held accountable for their actions. We do not ask questions as youth, all we know is crowd mentality. To go with the voice and action of the mob crowd without taking any time to consider the implications of our actions and decisions. Simple questions like where are we coming from? Where are we heading to? What legacy and impact can I leave in this world? What have we benefitted from war before? Wat will we benefit now? Wat kind of world do I want my children to live in? How can I better the cause of humanity?
Another high percentage of the blame can be traced to bad governance and social neglect because the youth are often victimized.

Showing allegiance to where one is from is a very good thing, but you do not need to bring down d roof in d process. If the only reason for the agitation is to show allegiance, then it is unnecessary. If it is not, then what r the aims and objectives and also d core reasons for the agitation.
One does not need to look far to see that we are one of the greatest nations in Africa and the world. Many countries who are doin better than we are do not have 1/4 of the resources we have. But we mis-manage everything. Our currency was once one of the highest in the world. Y can we not rise up to the challenge? We stil posses all the resources that put us in that position. we need to be able to mange our resources to improve our situation. Breaking up is never the way out. I think what we all must do is, imbide is the culture of tolerance for our neighbors and mankind in general no matter where ur from.

You have spoken well bro

You went overboard brother, you don't have to denigrate the whole tribe because of the action of a few. Like IPOB, like Niger Delta militants, like OPC when MKO Abiola was denied presidency. These groups are politically motivated. Their agenda might serve the interests of a few political elites. Do not insult the sensibilities of the Igbo people because of IPOB crisis. Whatever insults you direct at Igbo people is also directed at you. If you say we are greedy, you are also greedy, including your parents and kinsmen. Be guided.

Yeah bro, i should have indicated in my post that not all igbos are the way i described above.

Let's now see how many people you will give free accommodation. Op, you are confused

My coming back to the east was not well planned then so i had to face some challenges (housing inclusive) not that i wanted to stay in my grandfather's place all my life, it wanted to stay there for less than a month then i will find an apartment. And for your information, i will give free accommodation if i have to, that my grandfather denied me can not make me to deny others talk more of my relatives.
I don't expect Igbos that stays in the east all their to understand this, our orientation here is that everybody is on their own, nobody watches his brother's back.

Watch how one MOD (Name withheld) would quickly push this to FP...

So because of your little experience with your uncle, you think it's enough reason to make generations, you are mad! Those people who keep saying igbos are not united are the divisive elements in our midst that need to be cast out. You say Igbos don't help themselves? seriously?? Where an uncle would sponsor all his relatives in school depending on how rich he is, another would bring his brother from the village were he is wasting away and in a couple of years, he becomes established, we're the first son automatically becomes responsible for his siblings, tell me any other tribe in Nigeria that does this, simply cos you want free money which you couldn't get, you brought your embittered self to come wail here. There are sure exceptions, hatred is an individual thing and you would see wicked people in every tribe, capitalizing on it to score cheap points and aswell trend on NL is not a smart move.

A Yoruba man housed you, good of him, but you brought your stupidity in again when you say no igbo can do it, dude like WTF? who shows the act of hospitality more than igbos? should I start recounting my experiences for you? you ain't worth it anyway, your belief system is flawed from all angles and is devoid of logic and factual analysis. As for Biafra, even though I'm indifferent about it, your reasons for it's impending failure isn't worth taking serious.

I know your type, you want to look different aswell as stand out and receive praises from Yorubas and one Nigeria propagandists, but this is a failed trial that lacks every atom of intelligence, though you would get what you seek --Praises and attention, I already see them above licking your toes, be smart next time cos you writing to people from all walks of life who won't accept a haphazard analysis whether it aligns with their believes or not.

Now take a hanky and go continue wailing

I see it as an irony when you asked which tribe shows more hospitality than igbos. What about those rich uncles that will settle their brothers with little amount? You didn't mention those that will accuse their brothers for stealing just to boycott their settlement.
No matter how many times you lie to people around you, you can't lie to yourself. We are not united and you know it.

My igbo brothers. What the op said is true oo. It not like i dont want biafra, i want it and i know in each and every heart of an igbo man in this earth, we are desprate to have a nation of our own, a country we can be proud to say "this is the country where i come from" but the problem is we are not united.

U might think the word UNITED nah small thing. omoo that word nah big thing oo because we can kill ourselves if we have biafra for power, land or minor crisis. when i look at the northerners sometimes and see how united they are in everything, i just feel jelous sometimes. but i pray we unite IJN.

Just reading comment from the non igbo saying a better nigeria is better bla bla bla. Pls dont listen to them, i dont think this country will be better in the next melinma with the way this country is going with this kin sentiment here and there.

So let we igbos learn how to unite first before we ask for a country. Unity first before any other.

We igbos are the problem to ourselves.
Once upon a time, i was made to see Yoruba people as my main enemy in this, country but not anymore.
Yes we can brag about our commercial exploits, education, talents, wealth, personalities but we lack unity.
Out of all the tribes in this country, Igbos are the most greedy, wicked, heartless, and selfish set of creatures.
I am a confirm onye igbo, born and brought up in the north, i am typing this because of the IPOB crisis here in the east. It's hard for me to admit but the truth must be told. I asked myself yesterday night;
If we are to get biafra what will come next?
Are we ready to be independent?
Do we have the resources to survive?
Is there love among ourselves?
After analysing all these, i come to conclusion that biafra is the worst that will happen to an igbo man, biafra will be a place where hatred is the order of the day, we are always the ones playing the victim card, we call Yoruba people all sorts of derogatory names, we blame everyone one in this country except ourselves. It was a Yoruba family that welcomed and gave me shelter in GBOKO BENUE STATE the year i was posted there for my jamb exam (you can hardly see an igbo man do this for his brother, let alone a stranger) my best secondary school teacher is a Yoruba man, we lack hospitality and love among ourselves.
I didn't know about this until i left north for east, an igbo man will rather sell his brother for a plate of porridge out of greed
We call Hausa this and that yes i don't even like them (the truth must be told), their religious and ethnic intolerance is something else, but we are not better either, we have made our land less convenient for our people that's why you see igbos investing outside igbo land. You will buy land in igboland and all the kinsmen in that community will try to feast on your pocket.
Yes we have most of the most corrupt politicians in this country. Those bastar.ds we call our leaders are the ones we supposed to hold accountable, Nigeria is not our problem, Yoruba people are the only people we can team up with, they are the only one we can ally with.
I use to ask myself why most of my trusted friends are not igbos, it's not a coincidence. It is from experience.
In 2015 i relocated from the north to the east, up till now I'm still regretting my decision, i will rather die elsewhere than to be consumed by hatred in igbo land. My maternal grandfather who is supposed to welcome me home, despite all the tenants that are paying him, could not let me stay in one of his rooms. My grandfather!!
My advice to my fellow igbos is that we should eliminate hatred in our lives, only then we can come together and think of the way forward.
My write up may lack proper contruction, as long as I've shared my thoughts I'm OK.
As for biafra matter, me and my household and extended family say no to biafra.
I stand for one united South in one Nigeria.
Long live south east

You will be shocked at the number of Igbo millionaires and billionaires whose own blood brothers, not to mention nephews and cousins, are struggling to find their next meal. Biafran actualisation will simply be an opportunity for rich Igbos to get richer. The ordinary citizens will simply be ignored. And it would be a dictatorship/ banana republic where might is right.
