Yea,its not ideal do such because there are lot of muslim sisters out there that's still single and hoping to hook up.....The main reason is that we are not compatible because what will believe is different from each other and there will surely be controversy which may lead to unhappy home because after u might have give birth,there's no way woman from other religion will not influence children to her own side which is not permissible in our religion....seriously,there are lot of things that sideline muslim from not marrying other religion

Am afraid u are wrong,not totally maybe....am a catholic, I have a friend (a lady) who got married to an anglican member...my cousin got married to a man worshipping at redeemed christian church we didn't stop her,there is one of my neighbour who is more devoted to catholic doctrine,infact she supposed to be a rev sister but last year she got married now she worships in deeper life.....just to mention few,so I don't think wat you said is applied in de churches these days unless you are an OSU which is a traditional belief of igbos only...

Honestly I have lived in hausa land all my life,I have a lot of knowledge about them but one thing I don't understand is why they (hausas or muslim in general) often find it difficult or rather impossible to let their women marry men from other religion,does it mean it is prohibited by ISLAM??

Please am not sentimental in this,just want to be enlightened better cos my hausa friends have not given me a convincing reason
