SportsTop 10 Best Soccer Players In The World 2016 by Cornerstone99(op): 11:17am On Jul 25, 2016
Following this article you will definitely notice that the most lacking in superstar talent is at defensive midfielder position. At this very conversation, we must recommend those giant names like – Dunga, Esteban Cambiasso, Gennaro Gattuso and Claude Makelele. At times, when they were in top form and receiving praise for their versatility on both sides in soccer world.

I think it would be a little easier, if we were to find out 50 best soccer players in the world 2016. That would almost fulfill our quest for learning about all those current top talents from Europe’s elite clubs. And of course, sorry again for the certain probability of missing your own choice ‘best!’ soccer players here (who knows! may satisfy too, at least I’ve considerable causes behind picking and also not picking specific names from a bunch of very good footballers with very close competition in achievements and performance statistics).

Top 10 Best Soccer Players in the World 2015, Ángel di María
Ángel di María ; image credit Wikimedia/Богдан Заяц
Probably it’s time to say, Angel di Maria has got a flying start to his PSG career. Again he got the decent most end to his Manchester United and Real Madrid career (man of the match in the Champions League final 2014). Even the world cup 2014 was a good count for one of the best soccer players in Argentina this generation. Though the genuine technical man was not good enough for the Bernabeu’s marketing and already felt the essence of leaving Old Trafford. Hopefully PSG will make it a delight journey. Most definitely he is one of the best midfielders of his generation, who can provide plenty of goals and assists at tremendous good rate.

The Argentine superstar is a genuine pick for our list of top 10 best soccer players in the world 2016. He may have been lacking marketing evaluation, but his last year’s achievements assure his proud remark in this best soccer players’ consideration. He brought new transfer records for English Premier League that season and now transferred to PSG with a little less adjustments. Though he was being considered as one of the highest paid Premier League players.

09. Andres Iniesta (Spain, Barcelona)

Top 10 Best Soccer Players in the World 2015, best soccer player, Andres Iniesta
Andres Iniesta ; image credit en.wikipedia.org
People often believes, Andres Iniesta’s understanding with club-mate Xavi Hernandez borders on the telepathic sometimes. The surprising eye of the needle passing the pair produce can pierce holes in the most stubborn of rearguards. The modest and never creating problems for the coaches-man is the 9th consideration best soccer players 2016. His most remarkable is the winner goal against Netherlands in the 2010 World Cup final.

Probably, so far he has been able to provide the most consistent presence in central midfield. Alongside Spain National team, the 31-year-old is continuing to be a star for the Catalans in 2016. Of course, he had to suffer with the rest of his teammates, as from any perspectives, 2014 was not the year for Barcelona or Spain. But he had utilized his opportunity while winning the five major cup wins (including Champions League 2015) for Barcelona. Still, no player combines his dribbling skills with ability to split open a defense, makes him a true cast for the top 10 best soccer players in the world 2016.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic ; image credit www.palmchatnow.com

But the most surprising fact is – age appears not to be withering him at all.

Let’s just forget the last world cup from his career and consider the moodiest player in world soccer of his generation. The best soccer player of Sweden is completely unplayable on his game. You can only witness his stunning soccer performance through the fields. Another notable achievement, Ibra has won league titles in Holland, Italy, Spain and France with six different clubs. And we hope, the soccer world is yet to watch this great charming footballer at different heights in upcoming years after 2016. The player is often considered as most handsome soccer player in the world.

07. Philipp Lahm (Germany, Bayern Munich)

Top 10 Best Soccer Players in the World 2015, Philipp Lahm
Philipp Lahm
Philip Lahm has been the most complete full-back in the world for a long enough time. But the 2014 FIFA world cup has seen and confirmed hi as one of the best soccer players in the world. His switch to dictating deep-lying midfielder was crucial to Pep Guardiola installing his possession style. Again Joachim Low could afford to employ a similar proactive style with Germany. And obviously, Lahm achieved the crowning moment of his career by captaining Germany to victory in the 2014 World Cup back in Brazil.

The player once hailed as the world’s greatest right-back managed to seamlessly slot in as Bayern Munich’s trusted midfield. When the Bundesliga champions were rocked by injuries to Bastian Schweinsteiger, Thiago Alcantara and Javi Martinez, Lahm just excelled and compensated. This one great footballer may seem less popular according to the others in this list, but his total accomplishment in recent years assures his proud presence with the top 10 best soccer players in the world 2016.

06. Luis Suárez (Uruguay, Barcelona)

Top 10 Best Soccer Players in the World 2015, Luiz Suárez
Luiz Suárez ; image credit en.wikipedia.org
Even after the four months suspension for his infamous incident at the world cup 2014, we can say Luis Suarez has made a slow start at Barcelona. This one statement says much about how good Suárez was the rest of the year, which easily provokes us placing his name at number six in this list of best soccer players. Suárez’s impact on Liverpool’s electrifying Premier League title challenge came from not just his goals, but his infectious drive and intensity on the field. One of the very few players in the world capable of deciding a game single-handedly. The Uruguay best soccer player also had a decisive impact for his national team at the World Cup.

His individual brilliance assures his name with the extraordinary footballers list, even without any Ballon d’Or achievement. The great player was reported to attempt eight dribbles per game in 2012/2013 season. Now he’s less selfish, contributing 25 goals and 21 assists in his first season with the Catalans. But definitely the footballer need to attain a lot more to keep his position safe with the Catalans.

05. Thomas Müller (Germany, Bayern Munich)

Top 10 Best Soccer Players in the World 2015, Thomas Müller, best german footballer
Thomas Müller ; image credit www.standard.co.uk
In case of Thomas Muller, there is probably nothing single pure technical ability. As he is found most successful with his outstanding footballing intelligence and movement. He is a genuine nightmare to defend and easily found pop up in the right place at the right time. His five goals in Brazil mean the 26-year-old already has 10 World Cup goals in his career.

The name Thomas Muller was also suggested for the best soccer player from the FIFA World Cup. We all can assume, how precious the world title is!! And having intense impact on that is surely lifetime achievement. The magnificent footballer is undoubtedly favorite to as much people as Messi or Ronaldo in soccer world. He stands at number 5 in this top 10 list of bet soccer players in the world. He is truly a special footballer to his team, national or club.

04. Arjen Robben (Netherlands, Bayern Munich)

Top 10 Best Soccer Players in the World 2015, dutchman, best soccer players, Arjen Robben
Arjen Robben ;
The year 2013 was probably best suited for the great Dutchman, especially the winner in the Champions League final. Robben managed to stay off the treatment table with stellar performances for club and country featuring goals and assists. He’s one of few players in the world with PlayStation pace and dribbling ability. There is a common saying about him, he’s now 30, looks 40 and plays like 20, and most definitely he is at his career best.

Fans thought, Robben’s individualistic style would see him cast aside by Pep Guardiola. But, he has been an essential player capable of providing the cutting edge to accompany Bayern Munich’s endless possession sometimes. The number 4th best soccer player in the world was exceptional and pivotal in helping the Netherlands to a third place finish at the World Cup 2014, Brazil. He is one of the highest paid footballers in German Bundesliga 2016.

03. Manuel Neuer (Germany, Bayern Munich)

Top 10 Best Soccer Players in the World 2015, Manuel Neuer, best goalkeeper
Manuel Neuer ; image credit en.wikipedia.org
If it was tough to answer, who is the best soccer player in the world? we find much easier to answer another similar question. Who is the best goalkeeper in the world? Considering the time right now, it is easily decidable that Manuel Neuer stands top of the table. He has been at least closer than any other keeper in 2014, even in 2015. He didn’t just help Germany win the World Cup and Bayern the domestic double, his daring antics as last line for club and country he helped redefine the entire concept of modern goalkeeping in soccer world.

His crucial defensive interventions outside his own area and skillful anticipation prompt his national team coach Joachim Löw to describe him as the ‘perfect player’.

The world’s best goalkeeper had revolutionized his position as well as transcending it. The award would be more than just consideration of Ballon d’Or. But surely all this complete achievements let us to keep his name at least at number three as best soccer player in the world.

02. Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal, Real Madrid)

Top 10 Best Soccer Players in the World 2015, best soccer player in the world, cristiano ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo ; image credit sq.wikipedia.org
It might be a bit easy to put Ronaldo on this list, even at top. He was all the way fine, but someone else played much better, probably that is why we can keep him at second position right now. He has been a three times Balon d’Or (last one in 2015) winner. What parameters else can be found other than ending at Ronaldo. He is the highest paid soccer player in the world, best looking footballer, highest earning athlete and now the second best soccer player in the world 2016. Ronaldo never made the impact on the World Cup that you could have hoped for. Indeed, the Champions League 2014 final didn’t get the total CR&. His fourth goal was a mere nail into the Atletico coffin in Lisbon. There after, Real Madrid couldn’t earn anything positive in the year 2015, but I think there is no one to argue, he has been one of the driving forces in world football throughout the year.

Ronaldo has scored a frankly ridiculous 61 goals in 59 appearances and rather than declining. Surprisingly at the age of 30, he appears to still be getting better. Hope, you know the rest of the story this year happening. Who knows where this mighty best soccer player can end his footballing journey. His worldwide fan base confirms his ability and performance consistency, eventually which determines him as the best soccer player in the world 2016.

01. Lionel Messi (Argentina, Barcelona)

Top 10 Best Soccer Players in the World 2015, best footballer, outstanding soccer player, Lionel Messi
Lionel Messi
I know, all you have already guessed the top place for this list of top 10 best soccer players in the world 2016. Yes, of course he is Lionel Messi, the incredible five times Ballon d’Or winner of World football. But believe me, its never been some awards only, I have taken Lionel Messi at the top considering the overall performance of last year, winning five major cups with the club including La Liga and UEFA Champions League 2015. There were plenty of achievements for Messi over the past 12 months to receive Ballon d’Or award 2015 (awarded in January 11, 2016). And while there remains a suspicion that he is not quite at his physical peak, he remains a truly outstanding player.

Though, the World Cup 2014 was not a good memory for the Argentine. Never has a man been awarded best player at a World Cup and looked so uniquely crestfallen. Yes he carried Argentina to a first World Cup final since 1990, but was still criticized heavily for going missing – particularly in the final during which he spurned a golden chance. Lionel Messi remains one of the world’s best soccer players, but such is life at football’s sharp end that he had to drop down a place to Cristiano Ronaldo previous year. But now with every possible reason we can remark him as the best soccer player in the world 2016.

PoliticsDeep Secrets Into Buhari’s Government Exposed by Cornerstone99(op): 10:06am On Jul 25, 2016
Dr Junaid Mohammed has cast some aspersion on the Buhari-led government
Mohammed say there is great nepotism in the the APC-led administration
– The ex-Joint House Leader of the defunct Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) sppoke on the ills in the Nigerian government
A chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, and member of the Defence Committee in the second republic, Dr Junaid Mohammed has said that there is a group wielding power within President Buhari’s administration.
President Buhari
President Buhari
In a recent interview with The Punch, Dr Mohammed reacted to talks about a cabal hijacking the presidency, a charge the presidency has denied.
Mohammed said: “Let me say straight away that whether one calls it a cabal or a mafia or some kind of cult or whatever, there is a group of people who are wielding power within the presidency under Buhari. Whatever you say it is; it is and a lot worse.
First, the most influential person in the presidency today is one Mamman Daura whom as you know, is a nephew of the president.
His father was Buhari’s elder brother. In addition, Mamman Daura was the one who single handedly brought up Abba Kyari, the current Chief of Staff to the President.
In fact, Abba Kyari knows Mamman Daura more than he knows his own father. Next, the Personal Assistant to Buhari himself is the son of Mamman Daura, next is what they call SCOP, State Chief of Protocol, and is also a son-in-law to Mamman Daura because he is married to Mamman Daura’s daughter.
READ ALSO: War against corruption takes new dimension as Buhari tells judiciary, others what to do
Next, the Minister they unilaterally chose, against the interest of the party and against the wishes of Sokoto people, happens to be the daughter of the younger sister of Mamman Daura’s wife. Both of them are daughters of Sultan Dasuki, who was sacked by General Abacha.
We have the Aide De Camp to Buhari himself, Colonel Abubakar. He is married to the granddaughter of one of Buhari’s elder sisters.
Next we have the woman who represents Kaduna in the Federal Executive Council, she is a cousin to Kaduna State governor, Nasir el-Rufai.
It is well known that el-Rufai is one of the closest governors to Muhammadu Buhari. Next, we have the Minister for the Federal Capital Territory.
The Minister of the FCT is the man called Musa Bello, who used to be the Managing Director of the Northern Nigeria Development Corporation, which used to be the biggest holding company that belonged to all the northern states.
His only qualification to be FCT minister is the fact that his father has been Buhari’s friend over the years.
Now, there is a young man called Sabiu Yusuf, nicknamed Tunde – probably because of late General Tunde Idiagbon. He is another PA to President Buhari. He is also a grandson of another sister of Buhari.
This is enough to prove to you that this is shamelessly the worst form of nepotism in the history of government in Nigeria.
In fact, in the history of Africa, let me make bold to assert that I have never seen any level of nepotism that has equalled or surpassed this in my entire life – I am now in my 67th year.
Another thing I also want you to know is that, Amina Zakari, who was and still a national commissioner in the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) representing the entire seven states in the North-West.
It is being claimed that Buhari knows nothing about her appointment (before he became President), it is a lie. When President Goodluck Jonathan was re-organising the INEC and he was bringing in Prof Attahiru Jega, he reached out to Buhari and asked Buhari to nominate somebody from the North-West so that that person would be a national commissioner.
Of all the people in the North-West, Buhari decided to nominate his own niece, the daughter of his elder sister- Amina Zakari.
She has been there; when Jega left, Buhari was determined to make her chairman, it was because of the massive backlash that he dropped the idea like hot potatoes.
As we are talking today, that woman is a national commissioner which means she is one of the principal election umpires.
READ ALSO: Dogara incurs APC’s wrath; read his new offence
Throughout my reading of history, political science and social sciences generally, I have never heard of any dictator or any tyrant under any system of government whether totalitarian or fascist, appointing his own niece to conduct elections in which he was either a party or going to be a party to; Buhari has done that.
The immediate younger brother to Amina Zakari is currently the Minister for Water Resources representing Jigawa State in the same Buhari government.
In addition, even though they are from Kazaure, Kazaure is contiguous to Daura. The eldest sister of both of them is now the Commissioner for Education in the All Progressives Congress government in Jigawa state.
If this is not nepotism, then I don’t know what is nepotism and anybody who has the guts, the brutal arrogance to appoint these relations not bothering about public opinion, about the sense of justice, about competence, then you can see that he has a very serious question to answer. There are two mysterious cases.
Dr Mohammed went on to speak on the mysterious cases saying: “The case of the Governor of the Central Bank, Godwin Emeifele and the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu.
It was Buhari himself who said that he knew when the governor of the CBN picked a piece of paper and gave an instruction that N14bn should be withdrawn from the CBN and that money was withdrawn.
That was nearly a year ago and up till today, Buhari is still retaining Emefiele as CBN governor.
The Buhari I know is an economic illiterate and anybody who knows anything about currency movement and foreign exchange and fluctuations knows that the Naira has been effectively devalued.
It was the same Buhari who boasted that the Naira would never be devalued under him for as long as he remains President and even threatened the governor of the CBN that he was going to sack him if he devalued the Naira.
He (CBN governor) is still there. In the case of Kachikwu, he is the mystery man in the cabinet.
No one can actually tell you who nominated and brought in Kachikwu. We knew that he was friends with Abba Kyari when they both worked in Mobil but none of them had the influence to bring him in and make him Minister of Petroleum Resources.
Forget the nonsense about him being the junior minister because he is the senior and junior minister in addition to being the Managing Director of the NNPC (until recently when he was replaced.
This again confirms the arrogance of President Buhari in putting two positions together; one purely civil service and technocratic position which is the Group Managing Director of the NNPC and the other one which is purely political- a minister.
What is wrong with the President merging these portfolios in the light of the administration’s desire to cut the cost of running government…?
Since this man became minister, there has been nothing good coming out of the oil industry rather than confusion, crisis and corruption.
That again is an indication of the decadence we have in this government. People who are being accused and arrested for corruption as it should be, we are also aware that some of these cases that the DSS is getting involved in are shady because they have no experience whatsoever in prosecution.
That is why from the famous case of Farouk Lawal, a former member of the House of Representatives who was involved in getting money and putting it under his cap and what have you which was captured on camera.
They arrested that man; it was a clear cut case long before Buhari became President. Till today, the DSS has not been able to prosecute Farouk Lawan. He is still sitting at home; his house is about 200 metres from my house.
That shows you that when you hear that the DSS is arresting somebody for corruption, it is clearly political and maybe there is money or corruption involved.
We also know that there are people from within the DSS from the very top who are even threatening that they will soon arrest the Chairman of the EFCC and the National Security Adviser.”
The ex-Joint House Leader of the defunct Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) said: “The main reason is these people have refused to cooperate with them: Mamman Daura, Abba Kyari and the DG DSS, who is also part of the Daura cabal they want to take over the anti-corruption war so that it will be under their hand and they can cut deals and render the anti-corruption war useless.
I know who they propose to take over, it didn’t work. I think Buhari resisted- which is miracle. They are now proposing somebody.
The person who they proposed was a retired DIG, he, myself and Magu (current EFCC boss) had worked in Port Harcourt during my years in OMPADEC. Now they are thinking of a retired Commissioner of Police. The only qualification they are looking for is someone who can be controlled by them. This is the situation we find ourselves.
In the light of what you have said, what would you say has changed in government?
I will put it this way, we have exchanged one thoroughly corrupt government for one that pretends to be honest and is doing an honest job while in reality, it is business as usual.

PoliticsItalian Mps To Debate Controversial Cannabis Law by Cornerstone99(op): 9:53am On Jul 25, 2016
ROME - Italian lawmakers will begin discussion on Monday of a proposal to ease up on the recreational use and growing of cannabis -- a highly inflammatory topic, with the government on the fence.
Were the draft to pass into law, people would be allowed to grow up to five cannabis plants for personal use and keep up to 15 grams of marijuana at home and five grams on their person.

It would still be illegal for people to buy or sell weed or smoke marijuana in public, but the Italian state could start issuing licenses allowing the drug to be grown and sold in a similar way to tobacco.

Several European countries, as well as a number of US states, have legalised marijuana in recent years, both for medical and recreational use.

Proponents of this approach argue that decades of international prohibition have manifestly failed to halt the worldwide spread of cannabis consumption.

In its latest annual report, Italy's Anti-Mafia Directorate criticised "the total failure of repressive action," to limit marijuana consumption.

The directorate said it supports relaxing existing laws in order to ease "the workload of the judiciary and free up resources for the security forces and judges in order to fight other crime".

While medical marijuana is legal in Italy, a string of other European nations including the Netherlands and Spain tolerate personal recreational use of the herb.

In the US, 23 states have legalised medical use, while four have decriminalised recreational consumption.

- Italy divided -

The draft was submitted for debate by foreign ministry undersecretary Benedetto Della Vedova, a libertarian who has also fought for gay rights, with the support of 200 MPs and senators.

But Italy is sharply divided on the matter, with Prime Minister Matteo Renzi's government on the fence.

Renzi said in May that the hot-button issue was "not on the agenda" for his team.

Catholic lawmakers have already made it clear they intend to fight the bill to the bitter end, including drowning the text with amendments.

With parliament recess about to begin, it will probably take MPs weeks to actually get to the core of the bill.

A coalition of centre-right Catholic lawmakers, "has presented 1,300 amendments to say no to the absurd draft", the group leader Maurizio Lupi said.

"We are completely opposed to the legislation, to the idea of sending out the message that it is alright to freely smoke a joint without a problem," Lupi said, adding that he was opposed to the bill both on health and public safety grounds.

Supporters of the bill say the criticism is baseless.

"The experience of states that have started legally regulating the marijuana market shows that the number of consumers has not increased, and that there has been no (negative) social or health impact," the draft text reads.

The only thing that does increase, the draft says, is tax returns.

According to Italian association Nativa, some three million kilos of cannabis are consumed in the Mediterranean country each year.

TV/MoviesWar Against Soft-porn Movies – Nollywood Directors by Cornerstone99(op): 9:38am On Jul 22, 2016
Some aggrieved movie directors under the aegis of Nollywood Crusader Directors have frowned at the rate at which soft-porn movies are indiscriminately uploaded on YouTube and other social media platforms in recent times.

They described the rate as alarming, saying it created a serious negative impression about the country’s movie industry.

In a statement made available to HVP, and signed by renowned actor, Charles Awurum and founder of Igbo film forum, comrade Eze Harris Chuma, the group threatened to slam a ban on actors and actresses who feature in any sex Internet movie.

The statement read: “This is everybody’s fight. Many innocent young girls are being tricked or forced into accepting to act the indecent roles and some because of their innocence, childish brain, and hunger to become movie stars, willingly accept the roles, and even pay for it with their bodies or money.

“Those that have not gotten to the age of reasoning are the ones we cry for. Those above 20 years can go ahead and act their blue movies, if that is what they have agreed with their parents. They cannot be used by any concerned Nollywood Crusader directors.

“These young actors will be mothers and fathers tomorrow, they will sit and watch the shameful acts of their parents, years past.

“The group’s task force will be working with the Nigeria Police to ensure that the perpetrators are arrested and brought to book.

“Any actor or actress caught in the act will be isolated and punished accordingly.

“We have also agreed not to employ the services of the actors in any movie they are directing. They have also called on parents to always monitor the Internet to see what their wards are doing in the name of acting.

“This is not in our culture, and it is not our tradition. Parents should be careful of what their children are using there phones to watch. At 4 years, most of our children have started to operate phones very well, even more than some adults. We are talking today, for the sake of tomorrow,” the statement added.

CrimeSSS 2 Student Stabbed To Death During Football Match In Lagos by Cornerstone99(op): 11:39am On Jul 19, 2016
A friendly street football match between youths in Okota, Lagos, turned tragic, weekend, after one of the players stabbed an opponent to death during a misunderstanding.

Vanguard gathered that some youths from Oseni Liade Street were playing football at the end of the street, when a group of boys from neighbouring Taiwo Street came to join them. But the visiting youths were told to wait for their turn. At the end of the first round, another set of players, among who were the visiting youths, were expected to take over the football pitch.

But eyewitnesses said they were disallowed, an action that degenerated into a fight. In the process, one of them, Kayode Babayanju, of 8, Taiwo Street, was alleged to have stabbed another youth, Michael Tanko, in the hollow of his left elbow.

Bleeds to death
Tanko, a Senior Secondary School 2 student of Hills International School, reportedly chased his assailant until he became dizzy and slumped. Unfortunately, he died moments before reaching the hospital he was rushed to.

Doctors at the hospital revealed that he bled to death, as the arteries in the hollow of the elbow were cut. Information at Vanguard’s disposal revealed that the deceased was an orphan, who came to live with his uncle in Lagos last year, after the demise of his only sibling. When Vanguard visited the deceased’s home yesterday, his guardian, Mr. Oke Obi Odiaka, was still in shock.

The mother of the fleeing assailant and her relatives came visiting at about 4p.m. Immediately the woman sighted the bereaved family, she went on her knees and begged in tears. However, the family insisted that they produce their fleeing son to the police.

Confirming the incident, Lagos State Police Command’s spokesman, Superintendent Dolapo Badmus, said: “Effort is being intensified to arrest the suspect who fled the scene immediately after committing the offence. The corpse has been deposited at the Isolo General Hospital morgue.”

CelebritiesBeauty Battle: Kendall Jenner’s Beachy Waves Vs. Kim Kardashian’s Top Knot by Cornerstone99(op): 10:30am On Jul 18, 2016
It’s a sister showdown! Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian attended the Oue Skyspace launch together with different takes on summer beauty. With Kendall opting for a beachy waves hairstyle and Kim going for a top knot, we need your help deciding whose beauty look was best.

It seems the Kardashian/Jenner girls were divided on the best summer beauty look while out in Los Angeles on July 14. While Kendall Jenner, 20, was all about the tousled, textured waves, big sis Kim Kardashian, 35, was team top knot. Even though both girls looked gorgeous, we’ve got to break down both of their looks and decide whose was best.

Maybe it’s the magic of being a model, but Kendall somehow always manages to look cool. Dressed in a tiny black velour crop top with matching black high-waisted pants, Kendall added a bit more glam to her usual beauty look by styling her naturally straight locks into beachy waves. For her makeup, Kendall played up her eyes with a slightly winged liner along her upper lash line, leaving the rest of her look understated with clean skin and a simple lip balm.

PICS — See More Of Kendall’s Best Looks
Meanwhile, over-the-top sis Kim turned heads in a see-through dress that left her nude bra and black underwear on full display. Letting her bizarre outfit do the statement making, Kim’s beauty look was much simpler than we’re used to seeing from her. Sweeping her hair up into a top knot with face-framing pieces pulled out, Kim’s makeup included bold brows, super long lashes and her usual nude lip.

CrimeTurkey's Crackdown On Coup Plotters: As Islamists Demand Revenge On Streets by Cornerstone99(op): 10:07am On Jul 18, 2016
Europe is braced for a fresh migrant surge following the failed coup in Turkey.
The turmoil means the EU’s £5billion deal with Ankara to stop people crossing the Mediterranean is in doubt.
Arrivals in Greece have fallen sharply since the decision to return all newcomers to Turkey.
But the post-coup crackdown – with the possibility of executions – means migrants could argue it is no longer a safe country to be sent back to.

2,745 judges were among 6,000 people in detention following the coup attempt;
Mr Erdogan was accused of staging the takeover to further tighten his grip on power;
Thousands of people attended funerals for the first of 290 coup victims;
There were fresh clashes at a military base and at an airport;
50,000 British holidaymakers were warned to avoid public places and demonstrations.
Martin Schulz, who is the president of the European Parliament, yesterday warned that Mr Erdogan’s proposed crackdown was unacceptable. ‘One-man rule and arbitrary decisions are not acceptable in a country which is not only a strategic ally but also an accession country to the EU,’ he said.
Hundreds of thousands of migrants had made the short crossing from the Turkish coast to the Greek islands before the EU deal was struck in March.
The leaders of the EU’s 28 member states agreed to hand over six billion euros and loosen visa restrictions for Turkish travellers, if Ankara took back all arrivals.
The UN says 1,554 people landed on the Greek islands last month compared with 31,318 in the same month last year.
The EU’s border agency Frontex last week said numbers had fallen even further, to around 50 a week. The figures suggest migrants and refugees have been put off paying thousands of pounds to smugglers to make the perilous journey from Turkey because they know they face being sent back.
But the scheme will be scuppered if the EU is no longer able to return migrants because Turkey, a Nato member, could be judged unsafe. It is also possible the chaos in Turkey will itself increase numbers wanting to reach Europe.

If Ankara does bring back the death penalty, it would wreck its relationship with the EU and prevent it becoming a member state. Turkey has not executed anyone since 1984 and capital punishment was legally abolished in 2004 as part of its bid to join the Brussels club.
EU rules state that it ‘holds a strong and principled position against the death penalty – abolition is, of course a pre-condition for entry into the union’.
However a Turkish mob outside the president’s residence yesterday chanted ‘we want the death penalty’ for generals and soldiers involved in the coup. In response, Mr Erdogan told them: ‘We hear your request. In a democracy, whatever the people want they will get.’
He said he would hold talks with opposition politicians on the return of capital punishment, adding: ‘We will not delay this decision for long. Because those who attempt a coup in this country must pay.’
He said there would be no let-up in the fight against his enemy Fethullah Gulen, the US-based Islamic preacher he accuses of running a ‘terrorist group’ and masterminding the coup.
‘We will continue to clean the virus from all state bodies because this virus has spread. Unfortunately like a cancer, this virus has enveloped the state,’ he said.

Mr Gulen, who remains a powerful figure in Turkey despite living in exile, said the coup might have been engineered. He said: ‘I don’t believe that the world believes the accusations made by President Erdogan. There is a possibility that it could be a staged coup and it could be meant for further accusations.’
Thousands yesterday attended the funeral of six people in Istanbul who were killed during the botched coup attempt. Relatives wept and clutched each other for comfort amid chants of ‘God is great’.
Turkey’s state-run news agency last night said authorities had issued a warrant for the arrest of Mr Erdogan’s top military aide, Colonel Ali Yazici.
Clashes broke out between security forces and plotters at a Turkish air base in the city of Konya. Officials also said there had been an incident at Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen airport.
The speed with which thousands of members of the judiciary were targeted following the coup bid has alarmed human rights defenders who fear Mr Erdogan may be targeting rivals rather than genuine plotters.
Mr Johnson last night had dinner with the EU’s foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini in Brussels in his first overseas trip since his surprise appointment as Foreign Secretary.
His trip did not get off to a good start when his plane had to make an emergency landing at Luton airport shortly after take-off.
A Foreign Office spokesman said there was a technical issue and the Foreign Secretary reached Brussels by alternative means.

PoliticsHow Well Do You Know Mko-abiola? Say Somthing About The Legend by Cornerstone99(op): 9:39am On Jul 16, 2016
Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, CFR (24 August 1937 – 7 July 1998), often referred to as M. K. O. Abiola, was a popular Nigerian Yoruba businessman, publisher, politician and aristocrat of the Yoruba Egba clan. He ran for the presidency in 1993, and is widely regarded as the presumed winner of the inconclusive election since no official final results were announced. He died in 1998, after being denied victory when the entire election results were dubiously annulled by the preceding military president Ibrahim Babangida because of alleged evidence that they were corrupt and unfair.

Career
In 1956 Moshood Abiola started his professional life as bank clerk with Barclays Bank plc in Ibadan, South-West Nigeria. After two years he joined the Western Region Finance Corporation as an executive accounts officer before leaving for Glasgow, Scotland to pursue his higher education. From Glasgow University he received a first class degree in accountancy.[4] He also received a distinction from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. On his return to Nigeria, he worked as a senior accountant at the University of Lagos Teaching Hospital, then went on to Pfizer, before joining the ITT Corporation, where he later rose to the position of Vice-President, Africa and Middle-East of the entire corporation, which was headquartered in the United States.
