So when an Igbo showcases an imperfect behavior which another person from a different tribe can do without any second glances from people, you get self conscious an start shouting down.

Anyway, what this kind of posts, which you condemned, helps to do, is to raise awareness to those ethnic groups when opportunity arises to take sides in the future.

Nigeria is not one, can never be one. So there is a chance that an opportunity to take sides might come up again. It will make people think better on whose side to take if they must, or to stay neutral.
