Nigeria doctors arent doing anything special, let not the govt be intimidated or buoyed by their strike threats. Most people with covid 19 are recovering by themselves without d help of any fvcking doctors. The only doctors doing great are d European and d US doctors. Our doctors here ain't doing shvit. My question is how do you know your friend died of Covid19? Did you see and run the test yourself? Was your friend having any ill health conditions? kingi777: Good day Nairalanders. Since March this year, Covid-19 has been the major issue in Nigeria as it led to the shutingdown of the economy.
Many people don't believe the existence. My dear people, I was having a double opinion about the existence too. For the first time, I'm beginning to believe the pandemic does exist. My friend who was a Medical Laboratory Scientist with Kaduna State Ministry of Health and the head of the laboratory unit, Gwantu General Hospital was down with malaria like symptoms and treated himself for several days with no improvement.
Though he was a high blood pressure patient. The fever increased and symptoms of Covid-19 started manifesting. He was taken to Kafanchan Gen Hospital but no Doctor agreed to come close to him when they saw his critical condition. He was advised to check into the isolation centre but when they got there, there was nothing on ground as everywhere was dirty with no facility. The family was advised to take him to Kaduna isolation centre but he gave up the ghost as he was under distress all these while.
His samples were taken and it came out positive for Covid-19. His corpse is deposited at Kafanchan Gen Hospital at the moment. The people that were running up and down to save his life were helpless as they watched him dying. Their samples had been collected yesterday, taken to Kaduna today and are awaiting the outcome of the results.
The question they are asking is: why is government saying they have spent huge sum of money with nothing to show for it especially in other parts of the state/country? Should preparation for Covid-19 management be made only in the state capitals? What about towns that are very far from the isolation centres in the state capitals? Government should do something to accommodate the people by creating and equipping more centres in the hinter lands.
Corona virus (Covid-19) is real! Do you know anybody anywhere in Nigeria who has died as a result of Covid-19? |

Politics › Re: Paul Ohonbamu Resigns Obaseki's Commissioner Ahead Of Edo Governorship Election by Correcto: 6:35pm On Jun 04, 2020 |
So you mean Obaseki should just surrender like coward Ambode? It is better to fight than surrender, especially when he is the governor. If Obaseki plays the game well he will be re- elected as APC or PDP governor. Arabiandude: Let me make it clear for those who isn't aware but come online to boast of how Obaseki will defeat Oshiomhole in this political battle. Majority of those in Obaseki government were once with Oshiomhole and they are die-hard Oshiomhole foot soldiers, including Osaro Obazee that picked nomination form and Osaigbovo Iyoha (Gbovo) that's Obaseki PA. Now this is the secret, so many persons would have wondered why Obaseki has been going on with this battle like a political novice, the person advising him on this is Chief Osaro Idah, he is Obaseki political adviser, he was also Oshiomhole political adviser and foot soldier, lastly, he was and still part of Ize-iyamu clique. So he has been advising Obaseki wrongly just to finish him politically. Expect more defection before the primary, the kind of defection that will surprise and shock Obaseki. Hon Paul Ohonbamu was a member of Edo State House of Assembly and one of those that stood by Oshiomhole during the time EDHA had issues with PDP and Goodluck. He was personally compensated by Oshiomhole to run for HOR representing Ikpoba-Oka/Egor Federal constituency but lost to Hon EG Agbonayima in 2015 and because of his loyalty to the course, Oshiomhole personally recommended him to Obaseki as a commissioner...is this this same person that will end up betraying Oshiomhole when the die is cast? Someone should please tell Obaseki to go and sleep because he would have totally dissolved his cabinet and appoints new people when the battle with Oshiomhole started, but rather he continued using Oshiomhole and now also Ize-iyamu cliques and expect to win. So sad of him |
