If the person in Nigeria has a domiciliary account, then the transfer can be made. Alternatively you may use egold, assuming the person in europe can locate an egold digital exchanger. Dom accounts can be obtained from any bank in Nigeria ![]() |

Blablabla, I have the same experience. If you decide to take legal action you must study the terms of the contract to see if there are any disclaimers to disruption of service. At the time you took the agreement did Starcomms promise to supply 115kbps or did they keep it open? I haven't read the agreement because the one I use is in the office. I use Intercellular and it is the same thing. The download speed indicated is certainly not what occurs. Do Broadband users experience the same thing? One thing is certain, consumers are taken for granted and very little is done about it. I I'd like to see the responses this thread gets. |
All Contributors to this thread I love nairaland. I haven't been a member for very long, but when i read the arguments, positions, and reasoning of our members, my faith in Nigeria and Nigerians is renewed. We are truly a nation of great people and great minds. I just wish that our leadership can give us a chance to show what we can do. Seun, you try!!! |
LoverBoy Ur idea is good, but unfortunately Nigeria is not ready. The issue of pricing is very material. 10,000 is a lot of money to kill in one hour. Do no use those concerts that sellout for 25k as a benchmark because such shows are usually not profit oriented. They are marketing promos sponsored by corporate giants. A lot of the people who attend have complimentary tickets. I personally have never attended but everybody I know that has never paid for their ticket. You must remember that over 90% of smart businesses started here don't last till their next rent is due. This is due to the escalating cost of doing business here. What happens when there is no gas for the balloon or the gas is adulterated or some other unforseen event? I would suggest that it forms part of an overall tourism package because it would attract customers who appreciate the thrill. Alternatively, as a medium for advertising, it stands some chance of success. Most naija no go gree enter air balloon o! Most girls go ask for the cash instead. Hard facts of life in Naija. ![]() |
