Jesus explained that because certain events happened, that doesn't mean the end has come. So Jesus didn't say "by their wrong expectation" because that will make John the baptist and Jesus' disciples false prophets as they both had wrong expectations!

What you should be watchful of is not the mistakes faithful people made due to their expectations but whether they're WORKING OUT what is expected of Christ's true disciples! James 2:18-26

This is their new tactic. We are in final part of the final part of the last days, just before the last days of the last days. It's only psychotic individuals that take these words seriously. Who in their right mind would make this kind of statement? JW leaders are not psychologically sound. They can't risk fixing dates now or else they will loose too many members.

Just look at the pic below with the circled verses. In their recent Watchtower magazine talking about signs of the last days, they quoted these circled verses but left or skipped the verses that talk about False Prophets.

Doomsday Cult. The very foundation of the Cult is False Prophecies. Exactly as Jesus predicted about False Prophets below. Even Almighty God is disgusted at them. They were making so much noise about the year 2000. Even some JWs were making statements that the world cannot go beyond that year.

I believe Watchtower uses proclaiming False prophecies to create Fear and recruit new members. When you create Fear mongering, it arouses fear in people and make them join Cults. If you Lie that you have some direct communication with God, gullible people will fall for it. This is why when Watchtower proclaimed that the world would end in 1975, the Cult experienced high rate of new memberships and also more money in their pockets. When the prophecy failed, the same number that joined the Cult left.

This is the problem with JW. They believe everybody should be in a group. They believe everybody should be in a box tightly closed with padlock with a label, just like them.

Learned Christians are everywhere. Open your brain and mind to life. Watchtower will close your mind. When you get baptised, you will meet some of them when you go out to preach. And some of them will embarrass you. If you read some JW Publications, Watchtower likes to quote these same learned Christians to prove certain points but discard certain viewpoints just because they don't align with the Lies they teach. Watchtower likes to quote encyclopedias and some history books but don't want you to read certain topics they touch that clearly contradicts their doctrines. It is the same Encyclopedia that will prove to you that Jerusalem wasn't destroyed in 607 bce.

My point? As you prepare to enter this Cult, anything you are being taught in there, make sure you do thorough research to check that what you are being taught is true. Watchtower will never tolerate you doing that. But the Bible wants you to do that. If you are being asked to explain your beliefs, be prepared to do it and be drilled with questions. Nobody will kill you. They are just questions and if your authority is truly the Bible, be prepared for your answers to be analysed with The Bible as well. Be prepared to show proof of what you are saying and make sure you are not making assumptions. People will never be satisfied with already prepared answers from Watchtower. They want your own answers from the Bible. There are Christians that understand Hebrew and Greek and can spot many errors and mistranslations in the JW Bible. Once you become a JW, just be prepared to be embarrassed.

Your above comment also gave us the impression that there is something you know that we don't know. You gave us the impression that you have a groundbreaking explanation and information that Mad MaxInDHouse likes to call Sacred Secret to give us from the Bible.

You made some claims. We asked you to prove these claims straight from the Bible. We asked you to point 607 bce, 2520 years and 1914 from the Bible. We asked for the Calculation method straight from the Bible. But you couldn't do it. Read the room. Almost 4 pages gone and still you couldn't back up your claims.

Now, because you have failed to provide what we asked for, you are blaming us for drilling you with questions. You haven't seen anything. This is exactly how you will look when you get baptised and you are being forced to go out there to preach and defend Lies! You may think you are in some possession of some New Knowledge from JWs. Just because they teach something new and different from other Christians doesn't make it True because their source is demonic. You are excited over what you are learning but with time you will realise that their doctrines will embarrass you when you come in contact with very learned Christians who know the Bible and know History and will challenge your beliefs and prove to you that you know nothing and that there are so many holes in JW doctrines that are inconsistent with the Bible. As a New JW, you will think you know it all. And that is the attitude you presented when you quoted me.

So, be prepared to be drilled with questions. JWs don't like to be drilled with questions and have their answers analysed with the Bible. They like to run away. They prefer you take anything they tell you without questioning but things don't work that way. Anything that is True must be analysed, scrutinised and tested before it can be accepted. Truth can withstand scrutiny and still remain True. Lies cannot withstand scrutiny and people who spread Lies don't like to be analysed and questioned. You must obey the Bible as a Christian when it said that You Must Test anything you are being taught to see if it is True or from God.

Unfortunately, he cannot continue in that role if he has become a Christian. Just to avoid further embarrassment and clashes between him and the community, he should step down. His life will be less complicated that way.
