I remember back then when I will read all the watchtower bound volumes at home.
Read Revelation/Daniel Prophecy cover to cover. Sometimes at the meetings I when met with a few friends I'll try to impress them with what I just read recently but all I got was a few strange looks. I bet some of them never opened those books.

Now I came to discover that I was chasing after the wind, all those knowledge took me nowhere, I was feeding on Junk.

I remember when I used to read the Young People Ask Book and take what I see there so seriously. But in my interaction with a lot of Young JWs, I found out that no one reads that book. I got the impression that a lot JW Youths see that book as old fashioned and unrealistic and prefer to do as they like having a lot of sex and what not. That was when I realised that a lot JWs are not in the Cult because they want to be better people or because they want to increase their knowledge in the Bible. A lot of them are mentally lazy and that's why it is easy to feed them junk. Do you know that EXJWs watch their Broadcasts more than JWs themselves? A lot of them don't even know what is in their website. But they will be arguing with you.

You may think there are no PIMOs in Nigeria but you will be surprised to know how some really feel about the Cult but can't say anything. I have been to congregations where some only attend Memorial or conventions. or don't even attend at all.

If you ask me, there is something more to this No Beard Rule. If you look at dangerous Cults, they always have rules, rules that don't make sense. If you look well, you will hear things like,

How will you know who God's people are when you are worshipping Satan aka Jehovah? How will your eyes be open to the good of others when Watchtower has taught you JWs hatred for others? They deceived you that Your Preaching work is a show of Love. No o. That is not Love. You JWs preach because it is required of you to report field service. Your Preaching work is also a recruitment exercise to benefit Watchtower.

Do you remember the Parable of Jesus about The Jew and the Samaritan, two different religions, where one helped the other when wounded? Does Watchtower teach you JWs how to show such love to others who don't share the same faith with you including those who left your Cult? Does Watchtower teach you JWs to speak good of others? Watchtower taught you JWs a distorted and hypocritical view of Love. How about those that left your Cult because they disagree with Watchtower? How do you treat them? You JWs quote all the time where Jesus said, By showing love amongst yourselves people will know you are my disciples. You focus so much on that to the extent that you forget other lessons from Jesus where you are taught to treat others well including those outside your faith and people that left your Cult.

Look at the kind of people Jesus surrounded himself with. Very normal imperfect people that you JWs would have shunned and disfellowshipped. If Jesus was here, your Governing body would have criticised him heavily for associating with people like that. He would have been told to shave his beard, a very good example of man made rule. No JW has been able to explain why it is forbidden in your cult to keep beards when the Israelites, Jesus and his apostles kept beards. Jesus will be told that he is spiritually low. He will be shunned. You may not be aware that your Cult is very similar to the Pharisees with numerous man made rules and a very Judgemental culture.

Can you see why people say you JWs aren't Christians? A lot of Churches show this Love better than you JWs. No discrimination. The love is not conditional. I can't count how many people of other denominations that I've met that will put you JWs to shame when it comes to Unconditional love, Kindness, Compassion, Respect, and Morals. Mad MaxInDHouse, Good people are everywhere regardless of denomination. God's people are everywhere. Good can come from the most unexpected places. That is the point Jesus was teaching in his parable of the Samaritan and the Jew.
