My second reason for leaving the JW Cult is their stand on Higher Education.

We all know the JW Cult is the Taliban of Christianity because of their stand against Higher Education. I can't count the numerous times this doctrine was preached in Kingdom Halls and Convention. In fact, in this current convention going on, they were kicking against accepting scholarships and that coming to work for them for free at Bethel was a better life choice/investment. Watchtower gives a very flimsy excuse that a person attending University is like a person surrounded by Crocodiles. They say JWs in school can easily leave the Cult and engage in destructive social behaviours. But in Campuses, there are JWs, Elders, Regular pioneers and Ministerial servants. Regardless of where you find yourself, who wan spoil go spoil! So, their points were nothing but rubbish!! So, my conclusion was derived from their fear of losing members only!! That is their main fear!

Watchtower knows that University Education gives you critical thinking skills. Critical thinking skills leads to independent thinking which in turn kills the Cult. The Cult thrives on Blind Obedience only. This is why a lot of things in the Cult don't make any sense! You can see that reflecting from the shameless JWs in this thread disgracing themselves! They don't want JWs to think. They just want them to listen and obey without questioning.

Once someone attends University, Watchtower fears that Critical thinking skills will be applied to their doctrines. And since their doctrines are 99.9% erroneous and sitting on a house of cards, they fear JWs will realise their scam!

Of course! But I think they have way more illicit Sex outside their relationships /marriages. The average JW male views P@rn. They have a repressive culture where Sex is prohibited until marriage. But you would expect that the prohibition translates to No Sexual immorality or Purity. No! It doesn't. That's why there are lots of Sexual activities that still happen in their midst. The younger ones can be masturbators but still engage in Sex. Nothing stops a JW from having Sex. JW Ladies that are decent always complain of the fact that JW Males are constantly asking for Sex whwn dating even though when caught, they will be disfellowshipped. Illicit Sex is everywhere in JW Land both in relationships and outside marriages Bro.

I read a crazy story on ExJW reddit. Someone commented that he knows a married Elder who walked into the back room of the kingdom hall to meet a single sister there. The sister later came out of there adjusting her clothes while the Elder came afterwards with a smile on his face. The person has been seeing both of them several times alone in certain corners. This happened in the US. Imagine what happens in Naija.

Favoritism of course Yes. I heard Circuit Overseers are the ones appointing Elders. If I'm wrong please correct me. If you are an Elder's Son, they will keep pushing you to reach out. If they like your father, the process will be easier for you. If you are not, normally they expect your field service hours to be up to 10. Some funny Politics happen that prevent some eager JW males from being considered for those positions. Politics is in every congregation. This depends on the kind of Elder body in that congregation.

But have it in mind that the Cult presently is suffering from inadequate number of Elders/Ministerial Servants. JW males are not reaching out at all. They are running away. And I know why. Watchtower are Idiots. Because they are desperate for Elders, they have now approved JW males as young as 20 years to be considered as Elders.

Now, the process is not a fair one at all! It has never been fair. Why? Because they are in desperate need of Elders so anyone who reaches out or has been approached will be selected. Why are certain personalities Elders? Elders living double lives, impregnating girls up and down, smoking and use of hard drugs, drunkenness, Domestic violence which is now very common, Adultery, Maltreatment of subordinates, Fraud, Theft, etc. These are the kind of people that are Elders whom Watchtower have given permission to judge other JWs. Haba! I know so many Elders living like this. Can you see the Fraudulent system Watchtower operates? And some married sisters whose husbands are Elders will not report their husbands just because they don't want them to be stepped down. You know the average JW is not important outside but gets to be important in JW land by being an Elder. So, Elder positions have become Political and they carry the whole thing on their heads. So, when an Elder is stepped down, it is as if his world has come to an end! I know certain Elders are stepped down but there are so many others hiding their double lives and covering up for themselves.

I know a Presiding Overseer's Son who impregnated a non JW girl. They made the Son to marry the girl hush hush, got her baptised sharp sharp and then just reproved him only. The whole thing happened so fast! Before you know, we started hearing her bear their last name and commenting at meetings. But after a while, we didn't see her again. She ran away. That's what happens when you are filthy rich and everybody worships you in a congregation.

Another reason why JWs don't have love amongst themselves is that their Freemason Watchtower teaches them Hatred for people that leave the Cult. Watchtower tells them to avoid people that leave even Family. The only difference between Islam and JWs is that JWs don't kill Physically. They rather kill emotionally/psychologically and families are destroyed as a result of this. This is why in developed countries, JWs make several visits to Psychiatrists! Many of them found out through Therapy that the JW religion is responsible for their Psychological Trauma
and mental disorders! Why? Because the Cult puts you under severe pressure psychologically when you decide to take it way too seriously. This is why you will see a good number of mentally deranged people in the religion. You will notice a lot of delusional behaviours. They don't see things properly. This is why the JWs making noise in this forum have been consistently exhibiting similar traits. If you understand this, you will understand the way JWs reason. The Cult is responsible for this.

There are cases where JW Parents disown their underage children who decide they no longer want to be members. They sometimes throw them out of their homes! The more Fanatic a JW is, the more wicked they become. The more a JW take every single thing the eight delusional Freemason governing body say, the more he or she is turned to a Robot with absolutely no human feelings!

If JWs truly have love amongst themselves, the Gossip culture will not be so bad, Backbiting will not happen, there will be no tribalism, there will be unconditional love. When Jesus talked about Love amongst yourselves, he didn't say the love should be conditional. He used the Parable of a Samaritan and a Jew, two people from different religions. He is saying you should display Love not just to members of your religion but to others as well! JWs concentrating on themselves alone is the opposite of what Jesus taught. Once a JW leaves the Cult, the person is considered worse than a Satanist and they show extreme hatred for this person. This means JWs have no respect for people who decide that their beliefs are unsatisfactory! But they forget these people are included when Jesus talked about Love for others! The same way people are free to decide to join their Cult is the same way people should be free to change their minds and leave their Cult. But No, they don't want that.

Unfortunately, their focus on themselves is not real from the heart. Jesus preached about treating people of lesser means with dignity when he said he will judge everyone based on how they treated the least of his brothers and sisters. JWs have failed in this regard. No matter how the JW minions here shout in this forum about Love, JWs don't practise Love at all. The Love is conditional based on you accepting their beliefs and following their Cult, based on your financial status or if you are part of their Cliques. Their so called Love amongst themselves is Fake and Superficial.

As you get close to JWs, you will notice many irritating traits and that's because of the nature of the religion. It is a highly hypocritical religion with several unnecessary rules and regulations. Like I said earlier, the richer you are, the more respect you get. I remember when I was new in a congregation, I was treated a certain way. But when the elders came to my house, the treatment changed. I could sense that because of where I lived, they saw that I could be rich. Since then, their approach towards me changed. See what I mean? That's JWs for you. If you're rich and freely give them money when they come asking, you will be surprised at the way Politics in the Congregation will go in your favour. Your sins will even be covered for you. Yes! That's JWs for you. There are many experiences of EXJWs where they saw many Political Cover ups amongst Elders and their children. It happens. Elders in the same cliques cover for one another.

My turn.

Why did I leave the JW Cult? It started out as an accumulation of observations of the inner workings of the Cult that never made sense to me from a very young age,particularly from my teens! The start was the Lack of Love amongst JWs.

JWs will boast to you that they have Love amongst themselves. Now, this is solely dependent on the Congregation you find yourself. In a few remote areas I found myself, JWs there tend to be simple and genuine. Just stepping into the Kingdom Hall, you can feel the love. JWs reading this can testify that there are few congregations such as this.
What I found out was congregations located in Major Cities and even certain areas close to towns have some of the most horrible JWs ever! Too much competition, too much scandals, too much gossip, too much backbiting, Tribalism, God forbid bad thing! Throughout my lifetime, I can't count congregations I have been to having these sort of personalities! The congregation I was in my teens was a Rich area type and so there was a lot of competition, backbiting, gossip, competition of whom has been out of the country, whoever was out of the country was usually given a talk part just so that they can show off the fact that they just got back from abroad, who has best cars, etc. I saw the worst of the worst in that Congregation. So much Politics! One family was running that congregation like a Mafia! There is absolutely no way Holy Spirit is in that congregation!

I also noticed a Caste system. Rich JWs don't mix freely with the poor. JWs select who they mingle with. There is a lot of Cliques. If you drive a very nice car or jeep or dress really expensive, you will be noticed quickly and approached the very first time you step into a kingdom hall. The richer you are, the more respect you get. If you are poor or dress poorly, you will be talked to and treated differently. There are congregations where no one will approach you. They can be that lukewarm! The only people that will approach you are Elders simply because it is expected of them.

Keep going Templee333. You're doing well. Say what you have to say not because you want to explain to JWs but because of others about to make the same mistake as joining the Cult and those who don't know the real side of JWs.

Watch your head though because JWs are coming for you and like advanceDNA said, talk from now till tomorrow to explain why people leave their Cult, it doesn't matter to them. What matters to them is what their Freemason Watchtower tells them because Watchtower = Jehovah. JWs don't like being told the truth about themselves. They love lies and tell lies to themselves. Once you tell them the truth about themselves, you have become an enemy against Jehovah because Jehovah is Watchtower.

If you really teach Truth, you won't tell your members to avoid Apostates/whistle-blowers unless you have skeletons in your closet.

So, according to the comments about the symbol below, it is meant to be an Evocation symbol to invoke Demons in it. Why is a symbol of Evocation of demons plastered on the Entrance of a Kingdom Hall? What is the One True religion doing with a spell symbol to invoke demons? Does that mean there are Freemason JWs in that particular Kingdom Hall? I imagine they do their Late night coven meetings there after the normal JW meetings as revealed by Freemason JWs. Imagine that each time JWs step into that Kingdom Hall, there are demons stationed on those symbols making sure that each Brainwashing spell they evoke works perfectly well when JWs attend their meetings.

Sinful, Arrogant, liars, diabolic, Thieves, name it! I pity people who get carried away with their False image. The image is just a cover. If you're an imperfect person, own it! If you did wrong, accept it, make changes then move on. Don't go about boasting when your fellow JWs disgrace you every day! Christians in general can be hypocrites, I admit.
