Politics / Peter Obi: Integrity Is About Public Funds Management by cPapaAjascO: 2:39am On May 28, 2022
Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, has responded to Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike's criticism of his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party.

While criticizing Wike for questioning his loyalty and integrity to the PDP, Obi stated that integrity was about prudent management of public resources, not political party membership.

Wike slammed Obi on Thursday for leaving the PDP just days before the opposition party's presidential primary.

Wike, who is running for president on the PDP platform, where Obi is also running, claimed that the former Anambra governor had not won an election since leaving the All Progressives Grand Alliance.

Wike had said, “It is not surprising to me. Peter Obi leaving the party is not surprising to me. I know and he knows that there was no way he would have won the presidential primary. The issue is that there must be integrity, there must be character.

How can a man who had gone to all the states to tell them how he had been a trader, how his family has been trading, how everybody should support him, how he wore one (pair of) shoe(s), how he did not allow anybody to carry his bag, and all those things…three days to the primaries, he said he had left the party. Integrity…character is very important in whatever you are doing.”

On the same program on Friday, Obi, who had earlier dodged a question seeking his reaction, said no one could question his loyalty to the PDP while he was a member.

“I don’t know how that one came in but I think when we talk about integrity, we are talking about integrity in management of public resources. That is what we should be talking about in this country. And when such things are mentioned about me, I feel maybe there is something missing somehow. Go and check my records as a governor.”

“I have moved on to where the process might allow me,” he added.

Romance / Dating "Real Ladies" Is Sweet! by cPapaAjascO: 9:56am On Apr 24, 2022
Being real is not being childish, local or uncultured.

find a classy high profile lady who will accept a low budget offer to sit out at a food vendors canteen to eat iya Basira's rice.... and dosent make an issue of it.

A lady who doesn't think it's downgrading to drink ijebu garri without groundnut, milk or sugar.

A lady who still takes a break from her fathers expensive mansion at lekki phase1 to come to an interior town to relate with you and your friends in the ghetto.

A lady who doesn't think it's your duty to take care of all her expenses.

A lady who has a lot of investments

A lady who doesn't think giving u sex is your reward for spending on her.

A lady who is always concerned about helping you with your money making ideas and possibly suggesting to financially assist u.

A lady who's just with you without much demands. She dosent stress you with her issues or bug you with suspicious questions.

A lady who respects and adores you despite her evident rich and high class background, which is far beyond yours.

If you ever find her... pls never take her for granted and do not let her go. cheesy

Mrdecent:
True... And I really wish the North will not handover power to the South because of this. They can't be trusted. It's obvious.
They can't fight agitators like the way the North is fighting them. Just like the way Northern leaders are using kid gloves in solving bandits and terrorism issues, that is exactly how South will treat agitators from the South.

They will be sympathetic to their cause which may eventually break the country.

If this country is broken, North will not be better than Somalia because the poverty rate will lead to increase in crime rate and that will be serious. Besides, there won't be much money to bribe them like it's happening now.

The best best is to permanent the presidency to the North nothing will happen in as much the North can step up the attack on agitators and killing them as they raise their ugly heads. Nigeria is good to go

Health / No, The COVID-19 Vaccine Won't Make A Magnet Stick To Your Arm (video) by cPapaAjascO: 10:17am On Jul 10, 2021
Most people are aware that there are some unusual rumors floating around about the COVID-19 vaccine, like that it will torpedo your fertility or that the vaccine is all a plan by Bill Gates to microchip everyone (both of those are entirely false, by the way). But here's anther one with staying power that could use some clearing up: Some people claim that the COVID-19 vaccine will make a magnet stick to your arm.

People on TikTok have been sharing videos of themselves with magnets stuck to their arms and bodies after getting the COVID-19 vaccine. "When your coworker gets the shot and magnets stick to her arm," TikTok user @pretty_gdimples wrote in the caption of one TikTok. In the video, you can see a magnet sticking to someone as a person in the background says, "How do you feel having a microchip in you?...We told you not to get that sh*t."

What do doctors have to say about this?
They're not impressed. "This is stupid. This is completely made up," infectious disease expert Amesh A. Adalja, MD, senior scholar at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, tells Health. "There is no new magnetic capacity conferred by being vaccinated."

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) specifically addresses the whole magnetization thing on its website under "Myths and Facts about COVID-19 Vaccines," writing, "receiving a COVID-19 vaccine will not make you magnetic, including at the site of vaccination, which is usually your arm."

Crime / Sporadic Gunshots At Imo House Of Assembly Complex by cPapaAjascO: 4:51pm On Jul 08, 2021
UPDATED

The Imo House of Assembly witnessed sporadic shooting as members engaged in a scuffle on Thursday.

The Speaker, Paul Emeziem (APC- Onuimo), announced the suspension of six lawmakers at the plenary for alleged unparliamentary conduct, saying the decision was taken at the executive session.

“Some members have been conducting themselves in an unparliamentary manner thereby bringing the house to ridicule.

“We have thoroughly examined this issue at the executive session of the house and have resolved that peace and order must continue to reign.

“The executive session has, therefore, recommended the suspension of the members who have engaged in different misconduct.

“This action is in line with ensuring that the image of the house remains as it should be while providing a functional environment and the synergy which we are required to provide to ensure all arms of government work together,” he said.

The suspended members are Kennedy Ibeh (APC- Obowo), Philip Ejiiogu (PDP -Owerri North) and Uche Ogbuagu (APC- Ikeduru).

Others are Dominic Ezerioha (APC- Oru west), Anyadike Nwosu (PDP- Ezinihitte Mbaise) and Onyemaechi Njoku (APC- Ihitte Uboma).

Mr Emeziem also announced the change in the office of the Chief Whip from Dr Arthur Egwim (APC- Ideato North) to Obinna Okwarra (APC- Nkwerre).

He also announced that all standing committees of the House have been dissolved.

The suspended members however objected to the suspension, describing it as illegal and undemocratic.

They insisted that they would continue to attend plenary.

Subsequently, the plenary became rowdy as one of the suspended lawmakers, Onyemaechi Njoku, tried to engage the speaker in a fight in protest.

This resulted in sporadic gunshots while the speaker was whisked away by his security details.

Mr Njoku, a member of the dissolved Ethics, Privileges and Information Committee, said their alleged misconduct was never brought to the committee.

He told newsmen that he would continue to attend plenary sessions as his suspension was invalid and undemocratic.

Similarly, Mr Egwim said the speaker did not follow the proper procedure in removing him as chief whip.

He stated that there were no valid grounds for his removal as no petition was brought against him and no existing case of proven misconduct.

Also, Mr Ogbuagu maintained that no executive session was held as the members had been waiting for the speaker to announce the venue for the executive session.

Mr Ogbuagu expressed surprise at the alleged unparliamentary conduct as he had just attended his first sitting since the resumption of the house.

Ngozi Obiefule (APC- Isu) added that every request to know the venue of the purported executive session from the house whatsapp platform was not responded to.

I think taking her out and relaxing is a good thing, if the relationship is new, she may be uncomfortable coming to his house, let them meet in a neutral ground where she will be comfortable and he also will be, what he needs right now is confidence, him go just fvck up if him try to do alpha male, he will embarrass himself, he needs confidence first before trying to pretend he is in charge so he doesn't scare her away trying to make her feel she's lucky to have him.

The only time u try to be a redpiller is when u meet a feminist, if u try to be like a lion on an obedient girl, she will be defensive, its good not to make early mistakes
thanks bro

don't ever try to bring the relationship matter, don't try so hard to make her feel calm, she probably trying to handle her own anxiety, u too try to be calm (though its hard) and discuss like u are a friend, if u are anxious, u will make her anxious too, ur boldness and friendliness should be ur weapon here, bet everything u had on it.

U can talk about other things like what u want to do in the near future, dont allow anxiety to make u start asking her what is her favourite colour or her favourite food bla bla.

Ask questions where she could express herself, instead of asking her what's her favourite food, u can ask her what she thinks about garri and okra soup without oil just try to flow and don't over do it like she's in an exam hall, everybody deh fear inside exam hall no matter how hard u read

Relax !
I bet you're feeling so lucky to have her such that you dont wanna say or do the wrong thing !

Its always that way the first time, you can only learn by experience,no amount of coaching will make it perfect, you have to learn from victories and mistakes alike.

My advice though
Dont ever insinuate to her in any way that you feel lucky to have her, that will give her more power and leverage over you,and as a man,you dont want that to happen.

Be confident
She's lucky to have you,not the other way round,so dont go trying to please her !

Since you're a new couple and you dont have much experience, ill not recommed you taking her out,it'll be awkward and pretense filled, instead invite her to your crib, and just talk, get to bond properly !

Dont try to impress her just yet,the goal is to make her fall head heels over in love with you,and you do that by forging a very strong emotional bond with her (it is the only language they understand)

What am i saying in essence, just talk and let her feel you.
wow. Nice. Well appreciated
