PositiveLady1: Please sabi mamas is doing a hystereoscopy before an ivf mandatory? Pls is it everyone that did ivf did hystereoscopy ist? Doing a hysteroscopy can help improve your chances of conception especially if the gyny suspects you may have adhesions, polyps or any other obstruction in your womb, these can be easily detected in an HSG report. So if your doctor suggests it, I think you should do it. |

mamsiey: Hi,
I used Holy Cross Silverspring and Dr Moore in 2019 because it was 5mins away from home. It turned out to be the best decision because I was 9cm dilated when we got to the hospital. Anne Arundel is very far from Silverspring unless you are open to it. I’d suggest you get there and go and inquire from the hospitals. Someone posted the hospital costs for Maryland some years ago. You can use the search button to find it but I quite remember it wasn’t cheap! Most hospitals in Maryland aren't cheap.
Currently, I’m in Atlanta using Northside and North Atlanta Obgyn. I didn’t use Holy Cross again because of accommodation but I really liked my experience with them and Dr Moore if that helps. Mind sharing the cost implications |

Mummy4life1: Dear House,
Don't go to Kingswill to do IVF procedure. The present doctor is just using people for experiment.
Wearing my maternity gown now because my tummy is very big as if am 9Month pregnant with negative results.
Picture attached.
The Doctor is even confused seeing my tummy and he said may be my thinking linked to big tummy.
Tummy in black is my present look now after failed IVF oooo at Kingswill hospital and the first picture is when I was 9Month pregnant.
Is it compulsory for them to continue the IVF, since the real person is dead? It is well. I pray for replenishment and success in the near future by God's special grace, amen. |

iamfertile: Good morning sis, pls I want to know the success rate of conception after doing adhesioysis to remove adhesion. I heard the scar tissue tends to grow back after adhesioysis - is that true? 2ndly, apart from hsg which other test can detect status of uterine syneachy/ adhesion? Thanks I have read conception rates improved after the procedure. You can google it up to read people's experience. I have met a mama here though who had a success rate, thanks to God. Apart from HSG, I think it can be detected through a hysteroscopic procedure too. |

imsettled2: Ma'am pls can you explain more on this blind adhesioysis and where did you do it? It's a blind way of removing adhesions from the womb as against doing it using a hysteroscope. It's done through the vagina and can be done with or without anaesthesia. I did it at Smith Medical centre, Iponri, lagos. |

Mummy4life1: Hello Ma'am, even when I visited him last week with my son, he said you're the lady that asked to much question and she even want to no everything. I smile
During my procedure, I was discouraged because of how the staff handle things but my husband and a friend encourage me and told me to concentrate on the reasons why I visited the hospital. During my own procedure, I ask questions oooo and they answer me.
I am planning on another one now even though I might do it with Grabbo. It's nice to meet you here again. How is bobo? Grabbo has got good reviews but the challenge is distance. But since you went to KSH, why do you want to change your mind to grabbo? |

Halcyon123: Evening all, I noticed my flow has drastically reduce. I usually have a 3days flow but now is just a day and the day is hardly soaked sef (I doubt if the flow will reach 2ml if measured). Is it something I should report to the hospital about? I had an ex-lap procedure for ectopic pregnancy in June, I noticed the reduction in flow when it resumed in July and same thing August too. @ sugah and anybody who has an idea. I am sorry about the ectopic preg...I had a similar experience too, after which my periods became scanty too. Got diagnosed for uterine adhesions(asherman syndrome). I did a blind adhesioysis procedure to take it out and recorded great improvement in my first flow. If you can,try and do a HSG to know the state of your reproductive organs. Infection can also cause this scanty flow, you can also do a HVS to rule it out. |

RipVanWink: ewwww, thats a horrible place to cycle then. now you have narated the whole story, the bulk of the blame lies with the hospital, would advice people to quit cycling with them, until they turn a new leaf.
ivf is emotionally and financially draining enough, not to add the wahala of rubbish docs to the mix. one can only wonder what trully happened, if they gave your blasts to another couple or the embroyotologist messed up and all the embies died..and they couldnt tell you guys I never wanted to drop any review on Kingswill before now. But if my opinion is sought, I will not advice anyone to go to Dr. Kingswill. I have never seen a fertility clinic with workers who have no patient empathy whatsoever, they are too nonchalant and lack coordination. Dr. Kingswill has a body language that has rubbed off on his staff as well. They are so carefree. Dr. Kingswill gets irritated when he is asked questions, like you should just surrender your body to him without questions for experiments and pay for it as well. I don't understand why a doctor gets miffed when sensitive questions are asked or some sorta comfort is required by his patients in the form of an explanation. Even if he has recorded many success stories, it's not enough justification for the experience most of us passed through with him. Once again, I regret ever going to the hospital. |

Decryptor: This is actually why i rushed to this thread!
I tried placing an order this morning and i was receiving an error saying my card was declined! ceaser: The refund was sent to the card that you used in paying. That is the problem with using 3rd party pay agents to pay for you on AE. When deals go south and a request for refund is arbitrated in your favour, the money will be returned to the card used in the payment.
When such happens, just hope the pay agent is God's angel to admit a refund was made into his account and give you your money, else na OYO voice mail. I didnt use an agent dear Sir. |

ceaser: Refunds are not affected. Your bank will credit you appropriately, even at the prevailing higher exchange rate, as long as AE arbitrates in your favour. This happened in my case but the refund was sent to a different card detail, not mine. What am I to do now? |

Questiontime: Dear All. I and my wife have been TTC. We recently did an IVF recently and to God be the glory she came out Positive. The transfer was done 3weeks ago. 3 embryos were transfered. Today, we went to the hospital for another reason and the hospital because of pending lockdown in the country asked us to do a scan. The scan was actually meant to be in the 4th week but we did it in the 3rd week. The result showed one sack was valid. We were advised to redo the scan on Saturday. I want to asked, is it possible that the scan was done prematurely and hence the reason for the seeming poor result. Is their a chance that the other embryos would still grow before the next scan. PS.. I am hopeful. I There is a chance, stay positive. Congrats! |

GodMercy2015: So I finally made the trip to most talked about clinic Grabbo. I and hubby made the trip all the way from ijebuode Ogun state to Abuja last week Wednesday. My observation were as follows: Nice environment, pleasant discussion with a doctor although I didn't get to see the main doctor herself, the ivf promo still on 600k for one cycle and 1M for three cycles. So we decided to cycle with them by June cause that is the time I would be able to get time off work. I hope to still get more positive reviews before my cycle and knowing mine would be positive too. Good morning every one. |
