Progesterone cannot help if the miscarriage was as a result of no heartbeat.
I was on oral, insert and injection progesterone during mine. I didn't bleed, I went for a scan and is still same so I evacuated.

Same situation with my failed pregnancies. I suspected Chromosomal abnormalities in those cases.
