Congrats Stephaniecoa...this is a very good news. I am so happy for you babe. May God grant you the grace and health to carry these Children to term. Were you stimulated or it was a natural ovulation? |
@Anistef, I am sorry you are going through this torture. However your story sounded similar to that a friend of mine told me about last week.. I just reached out to her this morning and she gave me the name of a gyny that assisted her in curbing the situation. The hospital is at Wilmer, Apapa. Dako Medical centre. She says the man is experienced in Maternity and Gyneacology issues. @mamaheaven, you can choose between the other one I referenced to you and this. I do not have any personal experience of them both but a friend has gotten. One last thing, she says the man would be travelling to Australia for a conference next week...but he would be around today and monday. Fertility blessings! |
@Ripwanvick, am sorry for your loss. May God perfect our efforts in TTC. It would happen again and this time would be beautiful to the end. @mamaheaven, one of my concerned neighbours referred me to a hospital behind luth. He spoke very positively about a female doctor that helped him after a delay of four years. My dh refused to go there because we are already seeing a gyny. But since you are on a fresh start, you can give her a call and see how it goes. This is her number 08033011164. |
Congrats Chrissyjay...may God's grace be sufficient for you all the way. Cheers babes. |
mummykyrti:Lwkmd...You no well this babe ooo ...no be only me o...mummykyrti follow oo and God knows other silent members in the group. @Zino...you should have collected their number to remind them. The ladies at the pharmacy are too playful. Fertility blessings! |
mummykyrti:Yes Sis, thanks for the referral. ....and Amen to your prayers. Fertility blessings! |
@mamatwiny, thanks for your concern, although I think you went a little too far in your mention of cancer. Most of us already know that letrozole is a drug for breast cancer patients, so why make such a statement. Most of these drugs we take here have had severe side effects on most of us, but we still continue with the hope that someday these struggles shall be a thing of the past. I would advise you be subtle in your counsel, we are all from different backgrounds in this group and so perception differs. I don't think you are a gynaecologist so do not assume as well. If you read my advice very well to her, I said the normal dose is 5mg but I am now on 7.5mg. Most gynys usu up the dose of their patients if they do not get the results they expect after some cycles and that is my situation. Fertility blessings! |
joyousf:Yes, you are right 5mg is the regular dose and taken at once by some patients.I was upped to 7.5mg when TVS showed poor response. As per taken it once or soread through, my gyny told me to do it however I liked. Cos I expressed fear of side effects. My dear, God will do it for us regardless of these drugs we take. My faith is in him. Fertility blessings! |
Zino89:Blue seal pharmacy by diamond estate(golden tulip close). |
joyousf:Lol...I took letrozole 2 5 twice daily...but it doesnt work. So I am up to 4tyms now ...totalling 7.5. I start 5 - 9 but some people do 3-7. |
@ Joyousf....your rants really shows how confused you are . TTC can increase one's anxiety to the highest level. I do not know which ado you are refering to as location but I got mine here at amuwo in lagos. Femara aka letrozole often works for those who respond poorly to clomid. Primolute N is also a progesterone and can be used to induce periods. My gyny used to prescribe one tab 3 times daily for 10days and my periods surfaced before the 15th day. |
HBD Curvilicious mama aka mama johnny...may God's grace never depart from your home. Cheers!! |
Stephaniecoa:It shall be positive news all the way babes...stay +ve too ![]() |
Congrats Cubes 01...you shall carry to term by the power of God's grace, amen. Cheers!! Honestly speaking, I am next in line by His grace ![]() Fertility blessings to us all. |
@mamatwiny....dont worry God will leave them dumbfounded by the time He is done with you...just keep the faith. @Mumihaja...so kpekus style lectures has finally brought you out of your corner. So wa pa sha? It is well. Fertility blessings!! |
Anistef:. This has happened to me in the past but I later induced my period after conducting a TVS in the second month of delay to ensure there was nothing growing anywhere. Was the scan you did thoroughly done and also why should your gyny place you on primolute N without further checks on you. Some gynys can be too over confident and generalise their treatments, ignoring the fact that what worked for Mrs A may not work for Mrs B. I would advice you watch your body for some time and consider doing a hormonal profile. |
fpeter:Done |
Strong and Urgent Appeal I need a job to take my mind of this trying to conceive period. My idle state of mind and body is causing me to have anxiety and its not helping me at all. Please mamas kindly help a sister out. I have experiences in Administration/HR, Customer relationship management and I have a Masters of Science degree in Mass Communication. Please show love to your girl. Fertility blessings |
Congrats Eureka...First of all I like this your username. God's grace is indeed sufficient for you and your wifey. May she carry to term in good health of mind and body. Your journey was really a hectic one but God that has proved Himself will give you children that would make you forget all your past travails and bring forth abundance of joy and wealth in your home. You shall regain all your lost graces and these blessings shall be permanent in your lives. Warm regards to wifey. Cheers!! |
mummykyrti:Go ahead and take it...it doesn't matter. Doctors just have preferences for the different days |
Cd 5 will work by God's grace. Its recommended for people with longer cycle though. Meanwhile for your period thats so minute, try taking blood tonic and lots of vegetables this cycle. Amd take your vitamins as well. God shall surprise you and the rest of us soon. Fertility blessings! |
samalive:I am so sorry for your previous loss. God would restore all your lost graces in abundance. Congrats in advance too. I don't really know more about the sperm count treatment formula but I would advise you to try ginger. I just stumbled across the info on a site (http://www.natural-remedies-review.com/ginger-for-fertility.html). These herbs that God graciously bestowed on us are doing wonders but we just seem to ignore them. Some people also attest to carrot and cucumber smoothies. My doctor once recommended manix with milk for my hubby and I saw a huge difference in his produce ![]() |
Congrats Adezie...may you carry to term safe and sound! |
Blossomcherry...trust you are doing fine. Butt in once in a while babe. @ mumihaja? So wa pa sha? Just dey holla oo @ mowojuoluwa, where you at? Trust you are good too? Dear mamas, am I the only one that feels B6 makes one have painful tits which makes you think that you may be pregnant. I dont like the tablet at all oo. |
mummykyrti:Yes..its a brand of letrozole |
@fpeter, yea the process is kinda similar but HSG is used to determine the patency of the tubes while hydrotubation is done with the intent of flushing a blocked tube. |
zaynie:Nope..no anaesthesia. The doctor says its better I stay awake so they can be sure I am feeling the dye passing through the tubes from my screams..as in if I dont scream, that would make them feel there is a blockage and the dye can't pass through. I have heard of the other kind with anaesthesia, some doctors do it. Thebonly difference is it wuld be more expensive |
zaynie:The doc passes a pipe through your cervis to you tubes and pumps dye into it a bid to clear all d orishirishi in it. Then the person will scream in pain like aaaaaagh or yeeeiiiii, its a painful process sha. |
blessedmumi:Blessedmumi...last month when I checked medplus at TFC in festac, they gave me a quote of 12k or so...I hope you arent asking for the femara brand of Letrozole, that is the one of 35k. Just ask for a smaller brand. Fertility blessings |
