INTRODUCTION / PROLOGUE For those who can, care or choose to remember, a story with a similar title was started sometime ago by one randy madman who goes by the name valon4ego , but for whatever insane reason, failed to complete the story. Probably he felt he wasn't qualified enough to do so or do so, or maybe it was ridicule or non appreciative fans (you never can tell with these madmen ) .But as fate, chance or whatever it is might have it, am here to complete the story — figuratively that is. So grab your tabac ( for those who smoke it or even know what it is) or your wrap of weed, if that's what's available to you, even as we excite our minds to be able to comprehend and see the world from a madman's — or a wise man's, if you will — perspective. But first of all, as after the tradition of madmen, we'll wait for a go ahead order from valon4ego. |
ONETIMESMS:do you know the default gateway it uses? |
can't remember |
lucky man ![]() |
just came across a PHP function that does exactly this! it's called ARRAY_POP |
Jregz:the book book introduced me to OOP but didn't teach me enough .I ended up downloading and reading many books on the stuff and I can't remember the one that did the trick. Am still learning the more advanced part of it sha like design pattern, etc I think you should go for either Java or C# instead of c++ sha. just skip the chapters till they start talking about OOP |
I grow tired of all these news! |
Adeleke185:That guy disturb me well well that year sha! can you imagine I had to abandon PHP to start reading c++ for dummies just to understand the bloody OOP principles ? ![]() I dey come make I go through my ebook collection check whether I fit recommend one for you |
I have been trying to find one, but so far all that I see is bulk SMS site A routing their messages to bulk SMS site B ... at the end of the chain you now see foreign gateways like twilio, clickatell, nexmo, etc Does it mean that there's no real SMS gateway provider in Nigeria? ![]() |
bakenda:that can be arranged, we can extend our Class to include that lol ![]() |

magiccrew:Bro, that website is highly responsive and database intensive. You need to learn stuffs like MySQL and PHP to be able to create stuffs like that. You can only create websites that ain't that responsive with your current knowledge, or you can choose to design a site and have someone else program it for you. |
Been contemplating choosing one between python, c# and Java for some time now. So I will just learn Java then divert to Android development while I use PHP for web programmin |
love the standardized comments and indentation. But on a side note, this happens to be your first ever post on nairaland, so when were we," calling " on you for this Class? |
Ymodulus:Thanks man. Doing that right away! |
JackOfAllTrades:it worked perfectly with just a little modification. thanks |
skydancer:Use a cracked version of AIDE, and then download the c++ extension |
JackOfAllTrades: ![]() sorry I didn't read the unset part well. the logic is sound and should work. thanks a lot |
JackOfAllTrades:thanks a lot for the help, but however I still need the last element because of the nature of the database query I need to run on the arrays |
JackOfAllTrades:PHP |
afolag:what's wrong with that? abeg, programming is for everybody that have the interest |
jideolubiyi:How much are you willing to pay for it? |
I am working on a web app that involves collecting data in arrays. Now I need to split the arrays in such a way that a variable holds the last array element of the array, while another holds the rest, so I run some database queries on it. Please guys, any idea on how to go about it? |
For those using Android phones you can learn html, JavaScript, CSS, jquery, PHP, MySQL — and to some extent python with just 920 text editor and ksweb ( I believe they are the best at what they do, believe me I have searched and searched) for python, you can use qpython3 for Java, use AIDE errm, which one remain again? |
Make una no crucify the OP o! Sometime ago, there used to be a forum at goal.com before they shut it down for reasons best known to them. There was a ranking system based on the number of posts and topics are particular person has, etc. The higher the ranking the more the stars a person has and other stuffs like that. Then you see people opening threads to celebrate achieving a milestone such as having a thousand posts etc. several other forums that I have visited have similar features, and I remember wondering why nairaland doesn't have one. I think adding a feature like that to nairaland would make it more interesting. it might be based on the number of likes and shares a person has, number of topics opened, threads that make front page, etc |
it would seem that they've had unpleasant experiences in the past and are keen to not let history repeat itself |
