Still dat same week, I was called to resume one small restaurant work with one free meal. Though the pay no follow at all. Mine happened when I was in 2015 wen I was in year 2. I had called home for money and I was told to wait till month end. I was broke as fvck. Was returning home from class one afternoon thinking of how i'll manage myself wen I noticed a car parked in front of my hostel, then a lady with a slight limp got down from d car(she must have been there a while) she, approached me nd asked I showed her to d toilet in my hostel. I took her there. Asked her if she needed anythin else, she said no, and that she only wanted to change. I waited a bit for her to "change" so dat I can show her d way out of d hostel. She came out from d toilet and gave me a thousand bucks and I told her I did nothing at all for her and anybody could have shown her d toilet. She insisted I took d money and folded it inside my pocket! I walked her out of d hostel and we got talking she told me she graduated in 1999 or thereabout and she was among d first set of people dat had stayed in my hostel then and she had come for something which I can't even recall sef. And she was comfortable with my face that was why she approached me. She said she was going to visit me from time to time and till date I didn't see her again.
