Sex in marriage has levels. We need to understand these levels, check our marriages, renew our love and sex life for a joyful and fulfilling marital life.
(1) Resentment level: This is the lowest level of sexual relationship in marriage. At this stage, one (mostly women) or both partners resent sex; some women hate it with passion. They can do anything for their husbands but not sex. Ignorance, inhibition, mentality, wrong information, wrong conception, myth, bitterness, anger, emotional hurt or foolishness are some of the things that can make a woman to resent sex. Past sexual life such as rape, lesbianism, sexual molestation as a child and masturbation can also make a lady to resent it. Marriages at this level are on the brink of collapse. Married partners should do everything to deliberately move their marriages from this level. In fact, it is ungodly and unrighteous (1Cor.7:1-5), you need to change your attitude towards sex to get the best in your marriage.

(2) Encroachment level: This is the level at which a woman sees her husband as using her or encroaching on her “privacy”. She sees sex as a chore, a task; she disdains it and does everything to avoid it. Some do go to bed wearing jeans knickers, tight or trousers. Some do put their babies on their chest as they sleep at night. A woman told me that she abandoned her room and started sleeping with the children in their room knowing well that her husband would not come and meet her there. A pastor’s wife said, she normally fasts for about 200 days a year and one of the reasons is to avoid sex. Women of this level are fond of complaining about “headaches”, “backaches”, “tiredness” “I want to sleep”, etc. But they should know that one of their duties as a wife is to satisfy their husbands sexually. For a better marriage, husbands too should know that it is their duty to give their wives sexual fulfillment.

(3) Involvement level: At this level, husbands and wives are having sex unlike those at encroachment level. but their sex life involves only the body and not the soul. They give sex, not to enjoy it themselves, but “to give peace a chance”. Hence, they open their laps, close their eyes and say in their hearts “do whatever you want to do and let me be (sleep)”, thereby laying down there as a log of wood, no matter what the man does, it does not touch any hair on their bodies. A lay minister who is suing the Georgia Department of Public Health for religious discrimination has been ordered by the state’s attorney general to relinquish his sermons to the government, according to federal court documents.
“Please produce a copy of your sermon notes and/or transcripts,” Attorney General Samuel Olens wrote to attorneys representing Dr. Eric Walsh.
Dr. Walsh said he will not comply with the request.
“No government has the right to require a pastor to turn over his sermons,” Walsh said. “I cannot and will not give up my sermons unless I am forced to do so.”
Walsh, a Seventh-day Adventist lay minister had been hired in May 2014 by as a District Health Director with the Georgia Department of Public Health. A week later, a government official asked him to submit copies of his sermons for review. He complied and two days later he was fired.
His attorneys said the government was curious about sermons Dr. Walsh delivered on health, marriage, sexuality, world religions, science and creationism. He also preached on what the Bible says regarding homosexuality.

It is true that the nation is under the pang of Economic recession but many Nigerians are being made to suffer the more by the cooperation of rain and authorities of Ibeju Lekki Local Government in Lagos state.
Since yesterday day many businesses, Schools, Houses, Churches have been under water in Awoyaya, Lekki area of Lagos State due to heavy flooding as a result of blocked drainage without authorities doing anything about it.
The affected businesses are The Livingsprings Schools which is opposite Mayfair Gardens Estate, Unity estate which is behind the school is equally affected. Truelight Missionary school, Redeemed Christian of God, the Lord's Portion, Omega bakery, First Bank Nig PlC at Mayfair Gardens and Tantalizer eatery are all affected. All the Schools, businesses and Churches have been shut down, due to the said heavy flooding that occurred from the blockage of drainage in the area.
Pupils of these Schools can no longer go to School,Roads have been reduced to one lane causing terrible traffic, Cars are seen floating.
Law abiding Citizens living in this area said they have been to Ibeju Lekki Local Government Council, which they said are unresponsive. People are suffering in Awoyaya. They need immediate help from Ibeju Lekki Local Government and Lagos State Government Urgently.

My name is Dayo. I’m a typical Nigerian guy and I cherish my Fridays a lot; I get to hang out with the sickest guys every Friday night and secondly, It’s another escape from my nagging and boring wife. I get confused sometimes on whether she’s my mother or my wife. Don’t get it twisted; I love her pieces. It just gets complicated; like I wish we never got married…marriage has turned her into something that doesn’t amuse me. I wish she was still the adventurous, charming, high spirited lady I dated for five years.

A lot of people say its unethical for married guys to be found in a club, but I wish everyone won’t be too quick to judge and understand that people look for fun to run away from their problems; they just want to breathe, like me.

I forgot to say that I work in Guarantee Trust Bank along Lekki, I love my job and my job loves me, maybe its because I’m the senior banking officer. Lol. This particular morning, a lady breezed into my office. My heart raced faster because I had not sighted anything this beautiful in a long while. She wasn’t the typical slender Barbie, in fact, she was a bit chubby but her smile, cuteness and…I was tripped.

“Hi Good morning! Your ATM has swallowed my card!” She laughed, unlike a typical customer that would ram you.

I just tried to form Boss laughter…

“Good morning, You know what? I’d personally make sure they get it out for you, but not today. Can you wait till Monday?” I smiled

“GTB shaaa! OK, can I just drop my number so you could call me up or just text when its ready so I don’t come twice? Please? My name is Nancy” She blinked her eyes in a funny way.

“Sure” I smiled

We exchanged numbers. What a lucky Friday!

So it was 10:00pm and I headed to the club…as usual my friends were chilling for me. My wife had called a couple of times, I just ignored it. She knows I’m never home Friday nights.

“Look at you!” I heard someone say. I raised my head and it was the ATM lady-Nancy.

“Wow, look at you too!” I was surprised to see her but I was happy I didn’t have to wait till Monday to see her again.

“Happy Friday!” She screamed because of the noise, “Wanna dance?”

I didn’t even have the chance to answer, she already pulled me to dance floor. I really suck at dancing but she helped me; she was a great dancer! I had fun! At some point we decided to go to a private area and we talked, ranging from work, business to personal life. I tried to hide my ring as much as possible, I certainly didn’t want this to end now.

“You are a really wonderful lady. You are so interesting…any guy would want to be with you all day” I said.

“I wasn’t always like this but I have learned the hard way that life is just too short to be sad” she sang

Then her phone rang…

“Hey baby! Yeah I’m at the private lounge, I’d like you to meet someone…alright boo” she talked excitedly as usual.

I was in shock until this tall handsome man walks up to her and kisses her.

“You were late. Meet Dayo; I met him this morning, he’s helping with your ATM I told you got swallowed and Dayo this is my B to the O-O,” she laughed “Meet my husband Kolade, we only come here to dance every fortnight Friday; away from work, stress and kids.”

“Wow, a pleasure” I managed to shake him

Then she stood now excitedly holding her husband’s arms.

“Why don’t we invite Dayo for Mimi’s 16th birthday tomorrow?” Her husband said

They have kids too? How long have they been married and they look like a couple just dating!

“Silly me, please come for my second daughter’s 16th tomorrow. It would be an honor” She brought out an I.V from her purse.

Was she raped as adult, does she hate men generally, does she have a good relationship with her father, was she circumcised, has she ever watch her father beat her mother, is her mother still with her father or they are divorce. Was she a virgin till your wedding night? If yes did you handle her well during the first sexual encounter in your marriage or you hurt her? (Most ladies begin to hate sex from their day one in marriage because they were sexually hurt during the first encounter during their honey moon)
9: TREAT HER WELL: Is she happy with you? If No she may not enjoy sex with you treat her well, treat her like a lady, stop treating her like a trash.
