Chijeep: To cut the long story short, I did my traditional marriage 3momths ago, though I met the girl online but before we even started talking about marriage, our chat always flow with fun and togetherness.
But the moment we return back to our base after the marriage this girl started behaving like introvert and a bit celibacy. Won't want to talk to me like in the aspect of gisting and barely share issues and decisions with me. Even the aspect of food she hardly find interest in eating what I'm able to provide. I've confronted her more than 3 times and reminded her that I told you already before we go into this union that I'm not rich yet and I'm managing, and she assured me that she's also not from a rich home either and she'll be supportive. but now the girl will be acting as if I'm forcing her to eat the rubbish I provided.
I told her that she's free to quit the marriage if she's not that impressed and happy but she doesn't want to or maybe she's thinking of how people will see her.
PLEASE WHAT CAN I DO AS THIS IS AFFECTING MY EMOTIONS?, BECAUSE I'M A GUY THAT DECIDED TO LIVE AND DO MY THINGS ALONE, SO THAT I'LL BE ABLE TO HAVE MORE TIME WITH MY WIFE AND CHILDREN WHEN THE TIME COMES.
And Una want make INEC do live transmission of election results with all these 'no network 'here and there. Hmmmnnn....
Kelklein: It's been terrible lately, even in city centres of FCT..
It s difficult to stream with.
It's difficult to use with a Google Map. It told me GPS signal lost for more than 10 times over a distance of just a 3km trip..
It can't connect on Zoom, Zoho, or Meet online meetings
Video calls is a no-no.. it lags more than 10 times for a one minute call..
I almost lost an online interview today because it just won't connect even when I had over 30Gb of Data balance. I had to quickly switch to another network that was what saved me.
It's been this way for months non end now🤔🤔
Are they aware the network is this terrible around the FCT..?!
Mods pls take this as far as possible.. let it get to them

Reconstruction work on the critical Sagamu–Ijebu Ode–Ore–Benin Expressway is reaching an advanced stage, with noticeable achievements being recorded daily on key sections of the highway. The Federal Government’s intervention is aimed at restoring the strategic route that links the South-West to the South-South and South-East regions of the country.
The project, approved by President Bola Tinubu, covers a total stretch of over 250 kilometres, beginning from the Sagamu Interchange and extending to Ijebu East Local Government Area of Ogun State. The road is considered one of Nigeria’s busiest economic corridors.
Work officially commenced in October 2024 following an inspection tour by the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, alongside Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun. The inspection underscored the urgency of rehabilitating the deteriorating highway to improve safety and economic activities.
Currently, massive reconstruction is ongoing across several sections of the expressway, with a focus on rigid pavement using reinforced concrete for enhanced durability. Notable progress has been recorded between Sagamu Interchange and Ijebu Ode, where one carriageway is often open to traffic while work continues on the other.
Construction efforts have intensified, with over 10 kilometres of newly completed sections already visible around Ijebu Ode. Work is also steadily advancing toward Ore and further down to Benin, reflecting significant momentum on the project. Motorists and commuters using the highway have commended the Federal Government for the quality and pace of the reconstruction. Many noted improvements such as durable concrete pavement, proper drainage systems, and proposed installation of solar-powered lighting along the route.
Despite the ongoing construction, traffic flow has remained relatively smooth, although occasional slowdowns are experienced around active work zones. Traffic management measures have helped minimize disruptions for road users.
As the project approaches completion, finishing works such as lane markings and final surface treatments are underway. The Federal Government has reiterated its commitment to delivering the Lagos–Sagamu–Benin Expressway project on schedule, raising hopes for improved connectivity and safer travel across the regions.
She should have applied common sense. All she needed to say was, Mr. Speaker Sir, sorry I just walked in and I don't have information on the motion you want me to second. Everyone will just laugh over it and someone else will be called upon to second the motion.
Cutezt: Anambra lawmaker, Maureen Chinwe Gwacham has come under fire after a viral video of her seconding a motion she has no idea about.
In the viral clip from the Nigerian House of Representatives, the APGA lawmaker, who represents the Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency, stood to support the motion as moved by a colleague during a plenary session. Moments later, the speaker was heard asking, “What motion is that?”, but Nigerians were left in shock when Honorable Maureen could not tell the motion.
“You called me to second a motion,” exposing that she had no idea what she was endorsing.
The roughly 25-second video has since sparked widespread outrage online. Social media users have described the moment as a glaring example of legislative unseriousness, with many questioning how lawmakers who “represent the people” can vote on issues without basic knowledge of them.
Gwacham is one of only 17 women elected to the 10th National Assembly of 469 members comprising the Senate and House of Representatives.
Who did we offend in this country?
Can you imagine this level of unseriousness from someone who is supposed to be representing her people, Haba!🤦🏽♀️ pic.twitter.com/6zZ8lnMnt1
So there can be demolition in the South East and the whole social media will be quite? If na Lagos this one happen now, Dem go dey do cho..cho...cho... Mtchewwww....
When Kanu was arrested and brought back to Nigeria from Kenya, most people on this nairaland frowned against it. The same people are now in support of Trump for arresting and taking the president of Venezuela to USA for trial. Walahi...some people brain needs factory resetting.
I hope we all remembered that INEC did not attend the last PDP convention that produced the National Secretary and other officers of the PDP party? It means any governorship aspirant form signed and presented by the secretary of the party to INEC will be rejected. Adeleke will by now be regretting why he didn't decamp earlier on like other PDP governors. The 'decampees' governors already saw the handwriting on the wall.
Melezenawii: Adeleke no longer interested in PDP gov ticket — Party
A legal practitioner and chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kenneth Okonkwo, has said that Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, risks having his constitutionally guaranteed four-year tenure cut short by six months if he leaves office on May 29, 2027.
This Fubura doesn't understand the meaning of his suspension.l at all. He can't speak for Rivers state for the next 6 months. If he continues talking like this instead of making amends, he should expect further emergency extension.
PDPdestroyer: Bia OP, nwanem your list is incomplete, some names are conspicuously missing. Is it that Forbes doesn’t recognize those who are billionaires in Biafra pounds…..considering the fact that 1 Biafra pound = 1 British pound ?
For those of you living in America who are always quick to speak ill of naija and even go to the extent of calling Nigeria Zoo, we have enough CAGE waiting for you.
Just imagine how people are speaking from two sides of their mouth. If na Tinubu or Sanwo Olu do the same thing, this thread for they catch fire by now. Mtcheeeewwwww......
Na wa oooo....this programme is what I watch everyday to relax myself after a stressful day at work...

FeliciaOja: I meet him July this year, everything about him is cool. My only worry is his fanatical support for arsenal which I consider the worst club on earth.
He keeps disturbing me of how his club will win the league, but whenever they lose he becomes super depressed and aggressive.
We have talked about this many times and he has sworn to change. But this night he came back very late and was making so much noise, shouting and yelling Then I googled scores and saw that his club lost today
I can't take it anymore He is not the first guy I have dated that loved football. His own is that when his club loss it affects him very bad.
I have even suggested he should stop supporting arsenal but he won't listen. After this night rubbish he just displayed I'm thinking of calling it quits.
Am I overreacting??
That You Even Reason Like This, Is Enough For Him To Leave You....
.......What I did not know, which came out glaringly later, was his parental background which was somewhat shadowy, his propensity to corruption, his tendency to disloyalty, his inability to say and stick to the truth all the time, a propensity for poor judgement, his belief and reliance on marabouts, his lack of transparency, his trust in money to buy his way out on all issues and his readiness to sacrifice morality, integrity, propriety, truth and national interest for self and selfish interest.....My Watch By OBJ
Trouble dey sleep, yanga dey go wake am. As far as Buhari is still the President till May 29th, they'll put the blame on Fulani herdsmen for this dastardly act committed by their own people. Yorubas are next in the blame game once Tinubu takes over as President. Itz only cowards that don't take responsibilities for their stupid actions.
Hmnnn...this write up touch me for bone oooo....... who no know, no go know....I visited shell area at Edjeba... That place used to be like abroad...but today, the buildings are old and empty.
In Nigeria, maltreating someone else child is almost a natural thing for most women. It has nothing to do with tribe. May God bless the very few women that treat other people children like their own, Amen.
