ladywriter:Hahahahah no be only plaigarism free husband. Tooltip are you plaigarism free? Because na you be my Nairaland husband now. Thanks ma. Following your steps. God bless you. |
ladywriter:Of course i already mentioned that earlier. Fiverr revenue card is Payoneer card. Just log in to your payoneer account and add fiverr as a new payment source. I was just responding to her questions as to whether her paypal account must be on US verified. i assumed she has a Nigerian Paypal and is asking whether it must be US verified to recieve funds online. I wasn't speaking with regards to Fiverr. How are you ma? |
scheat39:Nigerian paypal cannot recieve funds. You need a US verified paypal account to recieve funds. |
ladywriter:Alright that's great. All the best ma'am. |
The Ultimate Guide to Earning $100 on Fiverr Daily. Go here http://www.astutewriter.com/?p=120 This is part 1, part 2 would be coming up later. This is where i would give you indepth information on how to increase your earnings on Fiverr. You can subscribe to my newsletter for more information and regular updates. Feel free to ask questions; i would answer them as time permits. |
ladywriter:Na ur back i still dey my Oga. You've been silent though; work abi? Have a blessed week. @tranxo and other, the guide would be up tomorrow. I just wrote a 3,000 word guide on it so i guess you would understand and pardon the lateness. |
jonaboy:If you have a Paypal account already, i could show you how to intergrate with bank account but if you don't have a paypal account yet(US Verified), you would need to get one first and it would cost you some money. |
OkunrinMeta:SEO writing. |
masterz:Kai, some employers on Freelancer though. its the weekend dear, most of these foreigners don't joke with their weekends so you should probably wait till monday-tuesday. if he doesn't show up after that, open a dispute or send a mail to the support team. |
tranxo:Okay, would try to come up with a short guide. |
tooltip:Please text me your Skype ID. |
tranxo:The trick is in creating multiple, hot selling gigs. My writing gig sells more but i have other gigs as well. I have 1 level one account and 2 level two accounts. Once you are able to build your account to level two with positive ratings, you don hammee be that. Creating another fiverr thread would split the house. Or don't you think so? |
tooltip:Generator money? you more than underestimate fiverr. i make close to 100 dollars per day on fiverr. |
tranxo:Tootip... this is me dumping you for tranxo. Wise words sir. Thanks for contributing. |
tranxo:Payoneer card. Fiverr revenue card is Payoneer card. |
tranxo:No worry, creme dey, just do bank transfer. No need to stress ur pretty legs coming down here. |
tranxo:Not done any withdrawals recently but since the dollar went up, its been between 184 and 190. Recently, i had a client do a wire transfer into my domiciliary account and i was charged 25 dollars on 100 dollars bringing the money down to a pathetic 75 dollars. I was just trying to explore other means of getting my cash here but i guess thats a method that would have worked well if the client agreed to pay the 25 dollar charge or if it was a larger amount of money like say 1,000 because the 25 dollars is actually a flat rate. The only bright side is that i got my money in cold, hard currency. |
OkunrinMeta:No, the Fiverr revenue card is the same as your Payoneer card. Just click on that and it would take you straight to Payoneer where you can log in into your account and add Fiverr as a new payment merchant. You can use the same payoneer account and card accross multiple platforms like Freelancer, Fiverr, Amazon and the rest. You can also get a US verified Paypal account if you wish but Fiverr is very strict so you have to be very careful or they'll just block your account with all your thousands donated to 'charity'. |
Hi everyone, i just thought i should share this. Well, someone already mentioned it up there but i'll emphasize. If u are finding it difficult getting jobs on Freelancer or you don't really dig the bidding system, go and register on www.fiverr.com. I guess most people already know what fiverr is but for those who don't, its a micro-job website that allows you earn $5( actually, you get $4 because fiverr takes a 20% cut and at the end of the day, you are only left with $4. Don't let the amount fool you, you can actually earn way more than $5 for one service through a feature known as 'gig extras'. I have earned $10 for a 500 word article that took me less than 30 mins to write several times. Its also up to you what you want to sell for $5. If you feel like you can write 3,000 words for $5, by all means, take the stand. And if you feel what you are worth is $5 for a 100 words, no problem; you'll still find customers who are looking for your calibre of services. Also, you are allowed to sell up to 20 different services; so you see, it's not just writing alone you would be selling. If theres any other thing you are good at, just look around fiverr and see if its something thats in demand. People make money from 'completely silly' things on fiverr. "i'll wink at you for $5 dollars", i'll make a wish come true for $5" and people are actually buying these gigs. So, go on register on Fiverr and start promoting your gig. Please remember to optimize your gig too. If you have any questions, ask here and i'll reply as time permits. If you want one on one training, send me a mail on cremeandchic @gmail.com but its not free (make una no vex abeg, time is money and from experience, people don't take free things serious). But i would advise you to ask your questions here so that everyone can benefit and others who have experience on Fiverr can chip in a few points too. I hope this helps someone. Have a great weekend y'all. |
Morenzy15:Please darlings, try to minimize the amount of irrelevant posts and advert. This thread was created for a purpose. Thanks in advance. |
cmecproblem:How can we locate him? |
tranxo:Lol, biko i get church o. How about u drop next months tithes in my church? |
tranxo:You have a strong point though. I was just considering the ripple effect since Nigeria is so in love with importation. Everything is going to get really expensive soon if the exchange rate doesn't go down. But 211 to 1 dollar is unarguably a cool bargain anytime, anyday. |
. |
tranxo:Its not. The devaluation comes with inflation so you earn more but you spend more. |
The money stays in your account until you are ready to withdraw it. |
Millionjeff:Alright Sir. |
Urgent: Please i need someone who is experienced in creating mobile Apps that can work on Android, iOS and Windows for an urgent project. Please kindly send a mail to cremeandchic@gmail.com. Thanks |
Hello people, Just as the title states, i need someone who has experience in creating mobile apps that can work on iOS, Android and Windows for an urgent contract. Please send a mail to cremeandchic@gmail.com. Thanks. |
Pavore9:We have a couple of guys offering this service here in Nigeria and i actually use them to convert my Paypal funds into Naira because most of my clients are not on Freelancer so I can't rely 100% on Payoneer. But the problem is that these guys are too greedy. Some still offer 160naira for a dollar when the official exchange rate is over 200 naira to a dollar(Smh). So, what i did was to intergrate my USA verified paypal with my payoneer card so i transfer my funds from paypal to payoneer and withdraw using ATM here in Nigeria. Its not like i'll get the official exchange rate but at least, i'll get something close. Anyone who needs a USA verified Paypal account and wants to use my method can contact me but there are some rules you need to follow or else Paypal would just close your account and you can just say goodbye to your hard-earned money. Its risky and illegal but i've been using mine without issues for over 3 years now. And i know some people who have had theirs for much longer. As long as you follow the rules, ba wahala. Ladywriter, how far? how business? i owe you a mail fa! silly me, would send you one now. If to say i be man, i for just snatch you from oga. Why do i always confuse Tooltip with Tranxo? Lol. Hope everyone is making money? If you are not, talk now o make we show you the way. |
Friday's Tonic for Freelance Writers As a freelance writer, your brain is your office. Without a sound brain, you wouldn't be able to write anything meaningful. But how often do you stop to think about your mental health? When last did you do something special for that brain of yours? Here are 10 unique ways to improve your mental health as a freelance writer. This article was written by Eleboda Olajumoke of www.astutewriter.com. As freelance writers, our major tool for the trade is our brain. Some other professions may rely on computers and other automated processes to perform their jobs but a freelance writer would always need his brain first before anything else. We rely on it for almost everything from researching topics to writing compelling content as well as processing and implementation of feedback. The nature of a freelance writer’s job also requires that he works very hard as he strives to beat deadlines and multiply his income. But how many times do we really stop to think about our mental health? Sometimes, when I’ve been working for too long probably because I have a very tough deadline to beat, my eyes become red and watery and my fingers begin to feel stiff and painful. When this happens, I immediately know that’s my body telling me it desperately needs a break and I usually have no other choice but to comply. But then, I always wonder what happens to the brain at such times since i can’t see it and cannot really determine what’s going on up there. But the truth is that if our backs, shoulders, fingers and other parts of the body can feel so sore from overworking, then our brains can also become stressed and worn out. Make no mistake, your brain needs just as much care as any other part of your body. The fact that you can’t see it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t take a beating once in a while. Do you know that the brain never sleeps? Yes, even while you are sleeping at night or taking a nap, your brain is still actively conducting several other activities in the body. The brain only rests when the body is dead. This is why it is very important to take the following steps to improve your mental health and ensure that your brain is always well taken care of just like other parts of your body. 1. Proper body care is important Proper body care starts with consuming the right types of foods and incorporating exercise into your daily regime. Yes, I know the world of a freelance writer is an extremely busy one and there isn’t so much time for gym appointments and elaborate dinners. But still, you shouldn’t fill up your body with junks all the time and turn yourself into a couch potato. Once in a while, get up to exercise your body in order to improve blood flow to your brain. This would ensure that your brain gets the right supply of oxygen it needs to be at optimum performance. Consumption of a balanced diet is also important. Eat foods that are rich in proteins and vitamins B-12, Omega-3 fatty acids, Amino Acids and healthy minerals. You should also look into taking food supplements to make up for nutrients that are insufficient in your diet. 2. Take out time to relax I never truly understood what it meant to be a workaholic until I became a freelance writer. Freelance writing is a profession that could easily turn you into the proverbial Jack who only works and never plays. With clients on your neck trusting you to deliver their projects on time, where is the time to relax? But it is essential that in between your crazy schedule, you find time to relax. Relaxation doesn’t have to be something elaborate or time consuming. Sometimes, watching TV, listening to music, reading a novel or taking a short evening walk could help to calm your brain down in readiness for the next round of work. 3. Eliminate bad clients Let’s face it, not all clients are good for you. I used to have a particular client that almost wrecked my nervous system. He was the unusually anxious type who had about 10,000 ideas to incorporate into one project. He could send about 10 mails in a day to change project details. My nights were not spared either. At a point, I decided he was stressing me out and distracting my work-flow so I had to let him go. If you discover that a particular client is not good enough for you, let them go. It’s like having a job; not all jobs are good and if you find yourself working a bad job, wouldn’t you quit? 4. Set realistic goals Goal setting helps you to be focused and calms down your nerves. This consequently helps to improve your brain performance. When you have too many distractions, your brain is unable to perform optimally therefore, it is important to have clearly outlined goals with details on what you want to achieve and how you would work towards achieving them. I usually start my day with my diary in hand. In it, I make a list of all the projects I want to work on and generally create a time schedule for all my activities for the day. This also includes time for rest, exercise and siesta. I also do the same thing at the beginning of every month and at the start of the year. I make a list of all the things I need to do ad try as much as possible to incorporate them into my weekly schedule. This helps to give me a mental balance and reduce nervousness and agitation. 5. Stop Procrastinating I used to be the queen of procrastination until I realized how badly I was hurting my physical and mental health with excessive procrastination. When you put off things that you ought to do and can afford to do now until another time, your mind unconsciously holds on to that activity until it is completed. So wouldn’t you rather get up, complete the task and set your mind at ease once and for all? 6. Spend time with loved ones Don’t just sit behind the computer, communicating virtually throughout the day. Once in a while, get up, go out there and relate with people. Nothing beats being in the midst of friends and family, chatting away, sharing laughter and learning new things. 7. Don’t try to do it all While I would not encourage you to sub-contract your client’s jobs without their permission, it is important that you know your limits, understand them and respect them. If you find yourself at that point where you cannot handle projects alone, try to get help. I do not outsource jobs except when the orders are quite bulky and the client has agreed that I outsource. But what I do to ensure that I don’t get stressed out is to hire a typist. I have a typist who types for me so that when I can’t handle jobs alone, I just scribble the words on a notepad and she goes on to type them for me. I find it easier to write with pen and paper than to type and my typist is very fast so at the end of the day, we both complete twice as much work as I would have if I was working alone. 8. Shake up your schedule Don’t try to do the same thing the same way over and over again. Monotony might not help your brain to function optimally. Therefore, you should try to do things differently from time to time. Instead of writing your schedule weekly, write them daily so that each day poses a fresh challenge and a new schedule of activities. 9. Manage your finances Things like bad credit, debts and other financial issues are capable of stressing you out mentally. Therefore, you should ensure that you come up with a proper budgeting system to suit your lifestyle, income and expenses so as to ensure that financial problems are avoided. 10. Help Others In-depth satisfaction and happiness comes from lending a helping hand and offering assistance to people in need. The emotional satisfaction that comes from helping others can help to promote your mental health and well-being. Most importantly, you should ensure that you eat right and healthy and exercise daily so that your brain receives enough supply of oxygen and healthy nutrients for optimum performance. |
