shegsky:Dude you are so wrong. You copied his content word for word and posted it here. He came here to tell you about it and then instead of apologizing and giving credit, you decided to modify the post with another content. Why do i know this? Because i'm the freelance writer he hired to create the content and i have a system that tracks all my write-ups because of people like you. I was the one that alerted him to this page. And to think you even had the guts to insult him and boldly say you didn't copy from his blog? Wow! You are a fraudulent person. |
naijacutee:Hi Naijacutee, i'm interested in talking to you offline. That's If you don't mind. You can send me a mail on cremeandchic@gmail.com, i'll reply you. |
BizBloke:My exact sentiment-she's emotionally attached to the business. This is more than a business to her, it'a passion. Naijacutee if i'm to advise you i'll say, don't sell the business. It's really not easy to build a busjness from the scratch these days. Think of all the hard work you put in to get it to where it is today. I know that you are very busy right now and may not have time to run the business but why not sell a percentage of the business-bring a partner in who would be involved in the day to day running of the business and at the end of the month/year/quarter, both of you would share profits. That way, you would still own and be a part of your business but wouldn't be involved in day to day runing of the businesw which is what consumes your time. |
tooltip:When? Are you one of the trainees? |
Trippledots:Lol. You guys should take a chill pill joor. He meant $5 for 1,000 words. I contacted him. |
Nairalander01:So how do we bid for the jobs? Wait, did you say $5 per article or $5 for 5 articles? |
mousco:U r welcome. But i'm not a bros, i'm a babe. Lol. |
mousco:I would advice you to go with option 2 cos of 2 reasons. 1) Future Prospects-: If you manage your laundry business well, it could grow so large that you may even leave your job to concentrate on expanding your laundry business whilst enjoying the independence of being ur own boss. I doubt that you would wanna quit your job to become a full-time keke driver. 2) Running Expenses-: The running cost for a laundry business is pretty low if you know what you are doing. It's not like a keke business is expensive to run but if you won't be driving it yourself, you have little or no control over your expenses or profit. What if the driver becomes reckless or has low maintenance culture? |
tranxo:Awww, i have a day job too o. But no problem, you can join the next batch. We'll see what we can do to make things a bit more flexible. |
tranxo:Oga Tranxo, working for people outside freelancer is risky- you could get burnt. But that is what i have been doing for a while now and i have never gotten burnt. In my case, what i did was to create a verified U.S.A Paypal account. A Nigerian guy did it for me and i think i paid 8k or so. The PayPal account must never be opened with a Nigerian IP address. So, you must subscribe for a monthly proxy server (VPN) which would mask your server and make it seem like you are browsing from the U.S or U.K. This way, you would be able to avoid your PayPal account getting blocked. Method 2 If you have someone living in the US that you trust, you can ask for their PayPal account and provide same to your employers for payment. When you are ready to withdraw your money, just contact one of these money exchangers on Nairaland. Standardgoldng or any other one you choose. The owner of the PayPal account would transfer the money to Standardgoldng who will in turn pay the naira equivalent into your Nigerian bank account. But i should warn you, their exchange rate is crappy; about 150 dollars to a Naira or thereabout. Method 3 There are some people who specifically offer these services. They provide you with their PayPal addresses, receive the money on your behalf and pay you the naira equivalent. But the same problem of crappy exchange rate applies. If you need more info- send me a mail on cremeandchic@gmail.com. |
cremeandchic:Hi People, thanks to all those who contacted me. Well, the response was huge and even though i only planned to take in 5 people, i had to take 15. That's plenty of sleepless nights for me. But no probs. I'm still getting mails but i'm sorry, i can't handle more than 15 people at once. However, i'm considering a second batch to start on the 15th and end on the 30th. After that, the free training would end. If you are interested in the second batch training, send a mail to cremeandchic@gmail.com with subject 'Second batch'. Once i get ur mail, i would pen you down for second batch. Please, remember it would fall within the festive season so if you are not going to be available or serious about it, let's give those who really need it the chance. For those who have been chosen for first batch, please check your boxes; you've got mail. Happy Sunday y'all. |

Hello People, So i have decided that i want to give back. God has used a lot of people to bless me in this Freelance writing journey and i can't afford to be selfish. I'm going to give out opportunities to five people who desire to be freelance writers but need to brush up their writing skills. If you don't know how to write or you have never written before, i would teach you how to write superb articles within few minutes. The training would be for two weeks December 1st - 15th and would be free of charge. Please, unserious people piss me off so if you don't really need this, don't bother contacting me. After days of going back and forth on the issue, Linda Ikeji's blog has finally been removed by Google this afternoon. I hope she bounces back fast enough. |
Pardon me if i sound really naive on this post, i'm no expert in political matters. However, i've been thinking about this and i want to hear other people's opinions about it. We the youths of this country Nigeria keep complaining about the state of things, about our leaders, about corruption and all the other vices. In fact, we are now experts at complaining such that when bad things happen, we complain for a few days and then everyone withdraws quietly till no one remembers the incident. Another unfortunate event occurs and the cycle goes on. They say we are the leaders of tomorrow yet 75% of us are jobless. For decades now, the same set of people have been ruling the country and replacing themselves with their incompetent children, wives and co-looters. Yet we keep saying 'e go better' while we do nothing about it. My question is this; Is it against the Nigerian Constitution for the youths to come together to form a political party that would be dominated by upright youths who are hungry for a revolution? If it is not, how come we don't have such political parties in existence? If we continue in this our 'siddon dey look' fashion, where exactly do we expect the change/revolution to come from? Or perhaps we the youths are even worse than our predecessors? Our Children are going to ask us questions one day, what are we going to tell them? |
Was Nairaland attacked again? Why do we have old topics on d front page? This is a 2013 thread. Abi time travel things don dey happen? |

CaptBarbosa: Stop glorifying Linda. Stella's blog is now the biggest. Go figure it out.I visit Stellas blog daily as well. Linda made it through gossip blogging and controversial posting but as soon as the bucks started rolling in, she started becoming 'classy' in her blogging. Unfortunately, that might not get her far because people have started shifting audience to stella's blog because she gives it to them 'raw' like they want. The truth is Nigerians love gossip and controversial posts. |
People who say Nairalanders are mostly low income earners don't know what they r saying; i know the calibre of clients i have met through Nairaland. Anyway, everyone is entiled to their opinions. As for me, Nairaland made me! Nairaland has all classes of people-from the low class to the creme dela creme; you just gotta believe that. Nairaland also has a lot of potentials; if you've been on Nairaland for at least 2 years and you still don't have a source of income then you are really short-changing yourself. Stop sleeping in the romance and sexuality section, look around; there's so much in here. Linda's blog= Entertainment Nairaland= Potentials, ideas, opportunities, information, networking, the list is endless. This is coming from someone who visit both sites at least 3 times a day. |
