The customer service guy told me all I need is an i-pin.I told the dude I already have an i-pin and he immediately pushed the blame to the site...said some sites don't like accepting VISA card....I jux weak for the man |

Well...OEM has different meanings for different people but for me its just a fancy way of saying "Original Version" |
depair:Kyb is short for Kayaba, presently in naija, KYB is the best brand for some Japanese motor spare parts second only to the spare parts produced by the motor companies themselves. The quality of their shock Abs is very very applaudable...The prices mentioned above are for a pair (ie 28- 35k for a set of rear shocks n another 28-35k for a set of front shocks) ...So about 56-70k for all 4 shocks depending on Ur location, same applies for the OEM ones. |
Depends on the brake pad he bought...if its original brake pad then the price is bout 10-12k but I really doubt its the original he would purchase... Next time give the mech 3-4k for "Sparex" brake pad,its affordable, very strong n effective compared to other non- OEM pads |
Depending on your location...28-35k for original (kyb/tokico),8k - 11k for China made |
Pls...What did he catch Ur driver and another colleague doing? |
blackfm:No p... |
blackfm:Around 6.5k -9k for a pair pending Ur location.Don't let anyone deceive you....If you are not buying Kayaba (KYB) or Tokico ...Preferably KYB,then any other thing u r buying is China. |
blackfm:If you very lucky u can get someone with an old stock hu can sell for u @ 28 ( A dealer that bought the shock Abs b4 dollar hiked to #214) But the safe bet would be to go with about 30-35k. I don't know u but I would advice u as ma brother...pls instead of buying tokubo, buy China or better still buy original if u can afford it.Lots of fraudulent bizmen nowadays,If u go to Onitsha n Nnewi etc and see where second hand n damaged shock Abs are being refilled with gas and resold as "toks" u might weep for Nigerian car owners. Not saying there are no genuine Toks Shock Abs but the market has been flooded with too many fakes so ur chance of finding good toks might be slim if not impossible. |
samally:48-52k for original 14-18k for "that kind". Depending on your location |
Depends on the quality you want...Chinco or Original |
I don't drive a RAV4...but I think Ur fuel consumption problem might be from the missing catalytic converter most likely because of the missing Oxygen sensor that is situated around the converter...If u have an experienced n truthful mechanic, give him Ur car to check if Ur sensor is still intact |
U can get it in many auto parts markets ...depending on your location. #3k for 4 litres n #1.1k for 1 litre |
Biko,Da Allah, pls if u have money...don't buy those shock abs of #4k.Look for kayaba (KYB) or tokico but preferably KYB.They might be a little pricy but they worth it. |
densel:I stay in Jos...U can send me a PM Sha |
dokilolo:Sure...send me a pm |
DENSO platinum plugs... #2000 each Genuine Toyoto plugs #2000-#2500 each...But be careful... they both have imitations in the market |
